She appraised the value of our home based on 3 comparable sales and competing properties in the area. We disagreed with her appraisal and submitted an appeal giving more appropriate comparable sales that were included in our neighborhood. She stated that one of the comparable sales she used was in our immediate neighborhood and it clearly is not. She also stated in her opinion that a $40,000 home improvement that we did less than a year ago is worth less than half of that now. She claimed that our 3 car garage was only a 2 car + shop because of a sloped driveway. She also claimed that it would be misleading to say that we could put a car in the 3rd car stall, without actually attempting to try it. We feel that this firm does not use accurate information to form their opinions and that anyone who wants a fair appraisal should definitely NOT use this firm.
