Together we designed the project so it would match the other wood items in the room. The cabinet is beautiful! Very well made, functional, and the design details take it up a level. Tim was great to work with, and even allowed us to do the finishing work to save money. Excellent.
Description of Work: We needed a custom cabinet for our bathroom remodeling project.

Awful! The specific instructions I gave were ignored. The product I received was NOT the ones I wanted, but he claimed no responsibility for his part in this transaction. I made it very clear which ones I did want and which ones I did not want. The contract was written so vaguely that there was no recourse for me to pursue with the Construction Contractor's Board. He was a very poor agent for the company building the doors. Now I am stuck with a loss of $2,000.00!!!

Description of Work: Tear out and replace counter tops in kitchen and bathrooms with Wilsonart laminate and wood trim. No backsplash because I was doing my own decorative tile. I liked the guy, and trusted him to do the job while we weren't there. I think he did an okay job. I was a bit unhappy with quality, where there were large gaps in the corner, big enough for the tile to literally fall through, so I had to do some extra work to get grout to fill in the cracks. I was also unhappy with quality around the stove, where he stated he 'thought he had measured correctly', but had to cut a notch out to make it fit, which doesn't really look great. And the last quality item was that he did not cut the coutertop correctly so that the cutting board did not slide in. He came out and fixed that, and also touched up the varnish on the wood trim. He came when he said he was coming and cleaned up nicely after he was done. We're resonably happy with the final result, but if I use him again I would probably hang out while he is there to check on the progress and fix problems as they arise.

Tim built us a custom cabinet for our bathroom. It is beautiful. He understood what we were looking for, designed it perfectly and built us a beautiful piece that will last a lifetime. Tim is easy to work with, fast, and a skilled craftsman. Highly recommended.

Tim's work turned out very well and we are quite pleased with everything. His craftsmanship and professionalism are obvious. He was easy and pleasant to work with and we would certainly use him in the future. We also appreciate his introducing us to the Oregon Country Fair.
Description of Work: Tim refinished our bathroom and kitchen cabinet doors and refaced the other cabinet surfaces. He also removed our old fireplace mantle and built, finished and installed a new hickory mantle and columns. as well as a firewood box frame and door. To accompany this he built and finished two low hickory bookcases the longer of which was over 7'. Finally he built, finished and installed two hickory stairwell wall caps and aprons of about 21' total.
