They initially came out and took measurements while I perused their extensive sample books. They were quite straightforward about which styles were more or less expensive. They were able to provide lots of good information, like the amount of my sliding glass door's view that would be obscured by the closed shades. This allowed me to avoid making decisions that I might have regretted about which style of shades to purchase. Installation went quickly and smoothly. In addition to their own blinds, they very kindly installed 2 blinds that I had previously ordered online, but lacked the ladder necessary to install. There was only one small mistake that slipped in. At the last minute during the initial assessment, I had changed from vertical blinds to cellular shades for a sliding door in my back room. When this blind arrived, its color matched the windows in my front room instead of the others in the back room. The color difference was minor and this blind would rarely be down, so I saw no reason to ask them to change it. The addition of these shades has been a huge boon in controlling the summer heat, not to mention improving privacy and making my house feel more finished.

I telephoned Budget Blinds and described the problem we were having with the cords and cord stop at the top. I had been assuming that we would have to replace everything but the woman said they could be repaired thus saving us lots of money. That was nice of her! The representative came within a day or two and spent a couple of hours replacing the cards and cord stops. He was due at a second appointment but looked at the large sliding window in another room which didn't have any blinds. He took measurements and we briefly discussed style. He returned the next day to write up the order and said they would be ready in two weeks. We made a deposit at this time. A couple of days later we were called to say that the blinds were ready and that they had had a cancellation for the installation So the next day they were installed and we paid the balance of the contract. It went much faster than we had thought. All the blinds look great and we're very happy to have fully functioning blinds.

They did a great job. I have had them in this house. They just measured every window except for one in my new house. Their price was $3470 which I thought was a good deal for those cordless blinds. There are a lot of windows. I am actually claustrophobic and I don't even use them. I push them clear up. It is good to have them in the bedrooms. I have clear glass in the bathroom because I don't like that enclosed. So I have to have blinds on those. They did a beautiful job.
