+ -1 moreBased on an earlier report I went to the Brighter Homes Shade Shop. Wonderful service. I needed one piece so that my husband could repair an antique lamp. The very helpful staff found the part I needed. They recommended that I buy an additional piece. The additional part cost 25 cents and really competed the project properly. I am very pleased with their service and will return for lighting when I redo my bathroom.
Description of Work: Had the part on hand that I needed so that my husband could repair my antique lamp. They did not do the work, just were so nice when I needed a part that was unavailable at the box store.

lamp repair
+ -1 moreI went into the store expecting to have to completely redo the "guts" of the lamp. However I was told after examination that I just needed a new switch and a new plug. The lamp was ready to be picked up in two days and worked better than ever. Courteous and competent staff!
Description of Work: I needed to get a reconditioned antique lamp repaired. The lamp was shorting out and the switch had become frozen.
