They came to the house and replaced a fuse. They then told me that the compressor was shot, and needed to be replaced. My 10 year old heat pump was not worth replacing. Would not give me a quote to fix it. They did not test the unit in any way. They just looked at it and said sorry,but we will have a sales man contact you. He shows up and claims it is $5500 for a replacement unit. I challenged him on the price and he got all defensive about the things that needed to be done and the permit costs. I would avoid this company at all costs. They are pleasant on the phone and prompt, but they are not very above b oard.

The air conditioning portion of my heat pump stopped producing cool air during a heat wave. Because there were so many emergency calls, I was added to the service list, and was told they would have a technician here as soon as possible. I was given an approximate time for service and called prior to the service technician's arrival. He was professional, friendly and efficient.

He was on time, after inspecting my furnace, he explained what needed to be done and then did it. Professional, courteous and did a good job.

ll went well considering it was snowing all day while crew was here. Outside unit was much larger than the old one so we had them put it in a different location. There was an additional $175 charge from their outsourced electrician. They also outsourced the testing and sealing of the existing ducting to Premium Efficiency who will finish their part on May 16th because of a backlog of work (approximately 30 days) Work scheduled for April16th. Inspite of the $1500. "winter discount" (would have been $11,722.00) I'm sure we paid top dollar for what we got.

Used an Angie's List coupon to set up a furnace check up and cleaning. I had a bad experience with a prior HVAC service this winter and was a little gun shy. Not only did the service person clean and check the furnace, but he also corrected a wrongly installed thermostat. I feel the advice he gave me was outstanding, and I will seriously consider a service contract with this company. I feel the company is trustworthy and not out to gouge the consumer like the previous company that I worked with. I highly recommend this agency!

Eric (the technician) arrived on time as scheduled, was courteous, professional and friendly. (as were the gals in the office, when I called to make the appointment) Trust in Associated Heating and Air Conditioning was established quickly. Eric preformed his work quickly and efficiently. Before he left, he went so far as to give me some much needed assistance on the workings of my thermostat. Associated Heating and Air Conditioning went beyond my expectations!

They were professional will in our home. They took care on making sure everything was right and clean when they left inside and out. They explained everything about the units and cleaning them.

It went so well I have cancelled my yearly contract with my prior heating company -- which is a real shame as I would have thought they would take better care of customers they've had for close to 30 years -- and signed on with Associated Heating & Air Conditioning for their yearly contract.

Gas furnace stopped working at beginning of brutal cold snap, on a Friday. All HVAC companies were very busy; Associated was the first to arrive of the two I called. Took them only a few minutes to diagnose the problem as the mother board. As these are very specific to each model of furnace, they did not have any in stock and estimated it would take until Tuesday to obtain the part. As promised it arrived Monday evening and they installed it first thing Tuesday morning. They communicated clearly what repair was necessary, what the cost would be, and the estimated timeline. As for price, I did not shop around, given the urgency of the situation. They have flat prices for various categories of work, depending on what repairs are needed, as opposed to a time and materials pricing.

From start to finish I was very impressed with their service. Professional and friendly service, quality products, and maintained the schedule for job compeltion as promised. It was an expesnsive project but we had 3 bids for the same service and they came in at the middle.

It went very well. Priced well and they answered all my questions. Very happy with their service. I have them come out yearly to service the units. Can't thank them enough!!

The estimate was on the high end. The estimate was for a "Cadillac"air-conditioning system and that is not what I wanted. This was explained up front.

The salesman, Will Pierce, came to our home and helped come up with a plan for running the ductwork. His combination of plan and price that was better than the competion, so we contracted with them to do the work. We also had other contractors give us bids, but they were much less precise about what they would do, and we felt comfortable going with Associated. After we signed the contract Will brought Jason, their installation supervisor to the house to go over the details and finalize the plan. The technicians (Tobin and Bobby) arrived within a few days and were polite and professional from start to finish. They went over their plan with me and then worked the plan, keeping me informed along the way. They put down drop cloths to keep our floors and stairs clean and In the end they had done what they said they would do within the timeframe promised. The best part was that there was good air flow in the new addition as well as our existing home. I can't say enough about how pleased my wife and I were with our experience with Associated Heating & Air Conditioning. Special thanks to Will, Jason, Tobin and Bobby for a class A experience. Associated's receptionist answers the phone with "How can I make you smile?" I can say emphatically that we are most definitely smiling!

They did a very good job. They were in the estimated time they said they would do the service. They were extremely efficient in what they did. They performed everything they said they were going to do.

They came out after hours to fix it. He was very promt and reasonable. They advised me that day that they were busy but they would be out at some point that day even if it was after hours. They were above and beyond the call of duty. (I felt for the technician because he was very tired due to it being the end of the day.)

Kevin the senior technician explained everything, was quick, and helpful. The original price quote for part and repair was $240 and actual final cost for part and repair was only $140.

It went well. They came on time and were efficient. They were friendly and professional.

Will was the salesperson and gave me a good price, better through the Costco program where I'm supposed to be getting a 900.00 Costco cash card. The techs ran into some trouble with the Lennox unit but stayed 12 hours to get it working as it is supposed to.

My overall experience was good. However, next time I will confront the technician with the costs of components as compared with online prices and negotiate for a better price for parts. If they can't offer an acceptable solution, I'll buy the parts myself and hire someone else to install them.

See above. They were on time, courteous and did a great job. You feel everytime that your need is their number one concern. The secretary calls back later to make sure were are happy with their work and ask if their worker was polite, informative and answerrs all our questions.

The employee working up the estimate arrived at our residence on time. He gave us a thorough explanation as to what we could expect from the system and where the room units would be installed. He also explained the differences between the three systems that they could install. He was at our residence for about three hours at the end of which he gave us an estimate which we accepted. The installation crew arrived early and completed the installation in just over a day. The chief installer stayed for about an hour showing us how to operate the system and answered our questions. He also gave us instructions for some maintenace, such as cleaning filters. The people at the main office promptly perpared and submitted the paperwork to our local utility such that we received our rebate quickly. Everything went extremely smooth. Our electric bill has dropped substantially.

We called Associated Heating and Air Conditioning when we realized that our heat pump had failed. Will promptly came out to assess our situation and make a recommendation. We also contacted another company so we could compare bids. Associated was the obvious choice for us - great treatment from office staff, repairmen, installers, and salesmen! We were able to get a rebate from Lane Electric, and will also receive a Oregon Tax Credit now that we have a more energy efficient system. We would highly recommend this company
