As much as one can enjoy purchasing a new washing machine, I had a great experience with Appliance and TV Center. They are a no-nonsense small business without frills and gimmicks. Their prices were the lowest I had seen in my research, and the sales rep even suggested I purchase a used dryer off Craigslist instead of buying new with them. Because I was new to Eugene, they suggested a few restaurants and other businesses to visit in the area.
Delivery and installation were quick and painless. The driver showed up on time and carried my new, very heavy washer down a flight of stairs with no concerns. They ran the washer before they left to be sure everything was installed correctly. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to others!

We have been buying our appliances from Jeff since the late 80's. In 2004 we remodeled our home and bought new kitchen appliances. When the goods were delivered we discovered that the fridge would not open properly in it's new space (a detail overlooked by our cabinet designer). When I called Jeff, he immediately sent the delivery man over with a different fridge--it was a weekend and no one was scheduled for deliveries, but he made it happen! We have also purchased laundry appliances and televisions from these folks. I would not hesitate to work with any one of Jeff's employees--they are all very knowledgeable. They listen. I would definitely shop there again. They are not pushy, nor do they try to get you to buy the most expensive models.
Last year my washer broke. We were to leave in two days for a 2-week vacation and we needed to do our laundry. Sherrill, Jeff's wife, offered to deliver a and quot;loanerand quot; for us--I couldn't believe it! Is that great service or what? We declined, as I was able to get a repairman asap.
Bottom line: you get what you pay for when you shop at this appliance store. The service is impeccable and they stand behind their merchandise.
