Alpha Ecological Pest Control

The reason I called them is because they advertise to use ecologically friendly methods of ant control. The initial visit of about $160 was to assess and treat the problem. I paid that and also paid $69 for a bimonthly service. The technicians were on time and treated the problem areas. However, the ants returned within a week. I called the 800 number that is provided, but it takes patience before I actually spoke to someone, as there was a wait time. They sent someone out and he treated again. The ants returned. This happened several times, and I was told that sometimes I takes over 3 weeks for the ants to consume all the bait and to be patient. I did some online research but found very little to support that length of time. I called again and I was told that I could have someone out, but it would count as one of my bimonthly visits and I would be charged another $69. As the ant problem was getting bad again, I did ask for someone to return to my house. This time, the problem appears to have been taken care of as I have seen no ants. The reasons I won't use them again is 1) I cannot immediately get anyone on the phone. 2) If a technician treats my house and the ants return in a time period shorter than my contract allows, I feel that the house may not have been given sufficient treatment and that the return visit should not be part of my service contract. I will say that the guys that came here were prompt, polite and seemed knowledgable. I am going to try a different company when the ants resurface next spring, as they are sure to do, because I thought the problem could have been solved sooner.

They came as I had problems with ants, and within three days, there were no more ants. I am very pleased with them. Their prices were quite reasonable, and they didn't require a contract. They were recommended by an acquaintance of mine. They were green and the products they used were safer. If I got pests, they say not to worry about them. I like the fact that I am not locked into a contract. I can call them any day for spraying, and they would come back every other month until I tell them to stop. I would recommend them to others.
