Description of Work: We asked for repair of washing machine. We were told that the machine needed a new pump.. we waited a week for the new pump. After installation there was a large puddle under the machine. We asked for a review of the repair and were told it was the fault of the replacement part. we waited for a repair of that and after the repair was made, there was a bad noise coming from the machine and the machine did not complete the cycle, leaving water in the tub that did not drain. Clearly this person did not know what they were doing.

+ -1 moreI called them and they were able to walk me through the repair over the phone. It happened again, so I had them come out. They were able to repair it and everything was fine. They showed up on time, did what they were supposed to do and did not leave a mess. I am extremely satisfied.

+ -1 moreWent very well. He was on time, received a call from his office that he would be to my house in a few minutes, had the part that was needed and did the repair quickly. Stated the part had a 90 warranty and if there were any problems to give them a call. The cost was exactly the same as was quoted over the phone when I described what was wrong with the oven. Did a good job. Would hire them again.
Description of Work: Oven would not turn on. Diagnosed and repaired same day. Replaced bake igniter.

+ -1 moreI was happy with the punctuality of Akrit's service, I felt it was a little excessive to have to pay for an estimate even though I had the work done.
Description of Work: Prepared an estimate of the cost to repair burnt our wires an electric stovetop. There was a charge for the estimate. Repaired the wires for the cost of the estimate. Charged for both the repair and the estimate.

+ -1 moreI liked him. However, the last time he came out, he basically said the fridge wasn't worth fixing. I thought the price was really high; I had to pay $80 for him to tell me that. I thought they were very nice people, though.
Description of Work: He came once to fix my washer. On another occasion, he fixed my fridge.

They are honest ( even if that means they get less money), professional, on time, prompt, and friendly. I will continue to use Akrit for any appliance issues in the future. Description of Work: My dryer was giving off a burning smell and was not running correctly and my Ice machine in my freezer was busted. They came out for the initial consultation (80.00), diagnosed the problems and mapped out pricing for me.With the dryer he could have totally taken me and told me the motor needed to be replaced but he was honest and said the vent under the house needed to be cleaned out and that was it. He Looked at the freezer, told me what to expect for timing to get the part ( special order) and said they would call with the pricing as soon as they had it. They called the next day. They came as soon as the part came in and the service was fast, professional, and reasonably priced.

+ -1 moreIt went wonderfully. I called at 9am and spoke with Gaberelle. They called me right back and said we can be their at 12pm. They called back that they had a cancellation and could be there at 10am. They were ontime and my refrigerator was fixed by 10:15am. They also fixed my washing machine last year.
Description of Work: They replaced the intake valve on my refrigerator that goes to my ice maker. The inlet valve cost $58.00. They have a 90 day warranty on their work. They also fixed my washing machine last year.
