 + -1 moreI contacted Derek in early 2009, went through a large bunch of design changes with our architect, and at last started building in mid 2011. The whole project took some 12 months. Delays were mostly due to ongoing design changes. He provided detailed itemized estimates for each phase of the project, and was quite flexible in terms of making design changes. Derek produces extremely high quality, and works very well with architects, interior designers, and the customer. His pricing is fair and consistent. I would recommend him in the strongest terms to anyone. To prove the point, I recently re-hired him to do a 60K remodel of a guest house on my property.
Description of Work: Derek basically re-built an entire house which I had bought in foreclosure. The end result can be seen via RMLS #12259386, and is superb. Included in what he did: Large scale demolition, framing, flooring, plumbing, electrical, appliance installation, exterior and interior painting, HVAC.
