Adrian and his crew of Dan, RJ and Aiden were great. Our deck exceeded our expectations and the crew was very professional, courteous and keep their work area clean each night before going home. I would definitely recommend them.

What a rare find: A company with people who do even more than they say they would, adhere to deadlines, work with you if you want to do some of the work yourself, are pleasant, responsible, flexible and extremely competent! We have already recommended them to other people.

CDE got the high quality work done as promised in three weeks. Brandon and Aiden worked hard to build our two decks and entrance way just as designed. I'll recommend them to anyone who needs this kind of work done.

I hired Adrian's company to replace a badly decaying and warped wooden L-shaped deck with Trex. As a former Quality Manager, quality is very important to me, and Adrian and his team surpassed my wildest expectations. RJ and Jim were outstanding! RJ started the project alone, Jim came in part way, and then RJ finished on his own. It was his first job as a lead, and he did a remarkable job. They had to rip everything out and rebuild starting with the foundation. They not only kept me informed regularly as to schedule, issues, etc., but when they had multiple options, they included me to make the decision. They made suggestions to ensure the deck met my safety needs, as the two doors facing the deck were at different heights, and they had to be creative. Came up with ideas that were things I'd never have thought of. I'm delighted with the outcome! Outstanding workmanship, skills, and personalities. All were super friendly, kind, considerate, thoughtful, and went above and beyond, every time. They even addressed a problem I had with rotting siding near the deck that was never installed right (30 years ago), and not only got rid of the rot, but fixed it the right way, and made it look beautiful. They also made the project fun! The deck is gorgeous, and the staircase design is outstanding! Extremely professional work! My house backs to a park, and random people keep complementing me on what a gorgeous deck it is. I'm already thinking of other projects they can do for me, like replacing my front porch. I paid a bit more for it, but it was well worth the money. This deck is solid, and beautifuI, and I know it will hold up well over time. I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Best contractors ever!

A. M. Leech Construction/Composite Deck Experts has my highest possible recommendation. Adrian (the A of A. M. Leech) and crew Brandon, RJ, and Eric were just a pleasure to work with from the initial meeting through the final cleanup. To keep this short, I will just give some highlights: 1. They showed up on time every day and put in a full day of work. You could set your watch by their morning, lunch, and afternoon breaks. 2. The workmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. When there was more than one way to do something they consulted with us and together we made the choice. Based on their experience they offered great suggestions on how to make things look good. 3. It rained hard the first week of the job and the work area/yard was just a swamp. They laid plywood sheets over our grass to protect it as much as possible and spread straw over the bare area where the deck was to go to keep the mud down. 4. Material awaiting use was stored neatly in a manner to preclude as much damage to the lawn as possible. They kept their tool area neat and confined to just the area by the deck. 5. There were issues with the existing sprinkler system and gutter downspouts they had to work around or accommodate and they did so with no problem. 6. During framing there was an area by the steps that did not look quite right. They redid the framing, including pouring new footings until it was perfect. 7. Adrian did not ask for any deposit until the day they started work. Then it was 50% and the remaining 50% was paid upon final inspection. In summary, I would hire A. M. Leech Construction/Composite Deck Experts again in a New York second.

The installers Dan and Aiden did an excellent job. They were prompt on the job every day and communicated every aspect of the job as they progressed. We are very happy with our new decks. Adrian Leech was professional and did an excellent job of bidding and providing us with information about the product. His management of the project was excellent.

Dan and Tim, our carpenters, were amazing. Their attention to detail, the daily clean-up etc was first rate. Adrian Leech, the owner, came up with a wonderful design and his follow up and customer care could not have been better. The price is worth it!

Weâ ve had a lot of remodeling done in the last year and this was by far the best experience weâ ve had! The crew was hard working professional extremely polite . They should up every day on time and worked hard throughout the day. They left their work area clean daily upon leaving .They finished on time and the results were outstanding !â We couldnâ t be more pleased! I had a rotting wood porch railing replaced with a white metal railing and they did a wonderful job. Workers were very professional,willing to answer any questions, were friendly. I have had so many compliments on the new railing. They even brought back a second gate lock to keep my new gate open when needed. No extra charge and he even put the flag pole holder up for me. I would definitely hire AM Leach Construction again.

The crew keeps in contact with the customer and explains any problems that need addressing so the layman can understand. They suggest better ways to accomplish the project or less expensive methods. The finished job is just what I wanted and looks absolutely beautiful! They pay attention to detail and clean up really well when finished. I will have them do any further jobs I have!

Did a great job on our basement remodel and bathroom addition. Very responsive and caring. The main team of guys were very respectful and pleasant. Adrian was great to work with and responded to all concerns we had along the way.

Hired AM Leech to replace front porch floor on older (1926) SE Portland home. Craftsmanship was excellent and everything went as planned. Communication from this contractor was excellent.

We hired AM Leech to rebuild our exterior stairway, which includes a landing that turns, then to add Trex to those stairs and front porch deck. Finally to install railings. Adrian's contractor/installers, Jesse (foreman and Trex trained) and Mario were expert, inventive, and detailed--their work and work ethics were exceptional. Always on time, friendly, and professional--they listened, took our input, and explained everything they were doing. They took care of permitting and inspections.  And, of course, cleaned up the site before they left each day. Another extra was how they interacted with our neighbors and the public walking to one of the restaurants on the corner: Jesse and Mario were friendly, explained their work and product, and kept the sidewalk clear. Also, when we had odd work or enhancements, with Jesse's expertise and Mario's willingness to keep working, they were able to do that work also. We are thrilled with our deck and feel like "Royalty" going up or coming down the stairs--more important, safe. We and our neighbors interviewed many deck builders, but the first time Adrian Leech showed up, he was on time, had samples, and answered all questions--sometimes just to say Jesse could explain--and we were ready to hire him on the spot. Definitely, we will call AM Leech when we want our 2 backyard decks refinished with Trex.
