Description of Work: Moving into a house, I had pretty long a laundry list of things, from skilled to not-so-much (but heavy). He went through the whole list, and he recommended a good and inexpensive electrician for the one thing he couldn't manage.

Description of Work: Provider has given us advice and estimates on several projects and has helped us assess some problems around the house. We plan to be using them to do the actual work in the coming year. They have a great reputation in our area, and we have had good experiences with them as well.

Description of Work: FIXED AND REPAIRED 5 ITEMS QUICKLY! #1 FIXED RUNNING WATER IN TOILET AFTER FLUSHING. #2 REPLACED LIGHT BULBS IN CEILING LIGHT TRACK. # 3 FLIPPED AND REVERSED KING MATTRESS. # 4 RE-INSTALLED BATHROOM SINK THAT HAD BECOME LOOSE. #5 FIXED DOOR FRONT ON DISHWASHER THAT WAS FALLING OFF.

Description of Work: Robin Crum sent 2 gentlemen to look at our gutters which are high off the ground and see what would be needed to clean them. Within an hour Robin sent 2 men to our home to look at the gutter situation. The gentlemen not only looked at the situation, but they cleaned over half of the job on that day leaving only the work that required a higher ladder. These men were able to make an assessment of what was going with our gutters, where the trouble spots were in the blockages and free the flow of water. It was so wonderful to hear the gush of unobstructed water as it moved through the gutters and downspouts.

Description of Work: 1. Main floor bathroom completely remodeled including tiled shower, new pedestal sink, toilet, wall, floor, ceiling, ceiling fan, 2. Basement bathroom partially remodeled with new fiberglass tub and new tiled surround, new floor, 3. Partial basement remodel with new ceiling, some new walls, three new doors, and finished with painting, molding, 4. Completely new plumbing from public water line all the way to new sewer pipe out to public sewer line; all new plumbing fixtures. 5. Electrical included new baseboard heaters in basement, bathroom fan, several new overhead light fixtures. 6. And more.

Description of Work: I hired 'A Helping Hand Home Maintenance Company' to complete several projects over the months of August & September 2011. These projects involved cleaning the roof and gutters on my home of debris, the installation of stainless steel guards on the vent ports of the house, power washing the house, the stripping of faulty caulking on the house and replacement of the caulking as needed, touch-up painting of the house trim and caulking repairs, and replacement of a steel door that had started to rust on my garage. When giving me any estimate, the owner of the company, Robin Crum, would usually provide alternative solutions to the problem or concern that I had, and I could decide which option seemed best for me. If I needed advice and asked, he would provide it. He did not seem like he was mainly interested in maximizing the profit that he would realize from a particular job, but seemed willing to work with me in finding the most reasonable solution. His prices seemed fair. When a repair project was agreed to, Robin, and most often an assistant, would show up to begin work at the time promised, they would work seriously and professionally, complete the job within the original parameters indicated, and they would clean up after themselves. Before they left, I would be given the opportunity to inspect their work. Cost estimates given would come in 'on the money'. Overall, I have been quite satisfied in working with this company to date.

Description of Work: Repairing, rebuilding, re-siding, and painting back wall of house. Replacing/installing 3 new large windows.

Description of Work: Picked up new dishwasher from Sears; delivered it to our rental property. Removed old dishwasher. Installed new dishwasher including removing some wood for fit, and later trimming out the edge for better appearance. Ensured new dishwasher was operating properly. Disposed of old dishwasher.
