Gibson roofing was fantastic! They did a great job, in a timely manner and the estimates were right on target. Not only did they replace our 30+ year-old roof, but they also rebuilt our sun room and installed a cat run on the outside. Steve is very professional, courteous, thorough, and easy to work with. He did a meticulous inspection of our roof and gutter during his visit and was the only contractor that pointed out the storm damage, slightly detached gutter, and missing roof to wall flashing. He marked them on the drawing that he created so that the crew could fix them. After I got on Steve's schedule, the crew arrived on time and finished the job in a week. When we noticed a downspout was clogged after the job, Steve immediately sent a couple of people to get it unclogged. Steve's price was competitive. Since he is an Owen-Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor, we were able to obtain a Platinum warranty through him. Overall, we have had a very pleasant experience with Steve. If you are looking for a good roofing contractor, I highly recommend him.

Gibson did a re-roof on our home almost 11 years ago (Owens-Corning roof). It started leaking in several locations. I called them and an they sent a guy out who looked in the attic, and said they would fix it. I was called and they scheduled a repair job a few days after that. When the day and time came, about one hour after the time they were to be there, I received a call saying the guy was sick and they would have to reschedule. I said no worries - that happens. From the 27th of February, I repeatedly called and emailed various people at Gibson through the 21st of March. NO response from anybody there. I had to hire another company due to the leaks and simply could not wait anymore. Calls and emails were simply ignored. I did have several companies bid on the project after and they were concerned with what they saw. No business should get away with this yet it appears to happen all the time. Their initial reaction to make things right gave me hope but it quickly faded when 13 attempts to talk to them received radio-silence.

After a winter storm blew the top off of our attic fan we called several roof contractors to see if we could get it patched up to prevent water leaking in. Gibson was the only company that called us back. Josh Gibson came by and, free of charge, looked over the roof for other damage, and used a plastic sack and duct tape to do a temporary patch until we could get the whole roof re-shingled. We had another contractor in mind to re-do the roof; one that we had used in the past for our rentals. But Josh really wanted our business. He's only 19, but don't be concerned about his youth, he grew up on roofs and has more experience than people ten years his senior. We had Josh give us an estimate, and got an estimate from our other contractor. Gibson's bid was $4k lower, so it was an easy decision, especially since Josh was so easy to work with and so enthusiastic. The work is finished now and we're very satisfied. Gibson Roofing kept their promises, showed up when they said they would, did the work quickly and effectively, finished on time, and cleaned up the site. We would strongly recommend Josh Gibson, and Gibson Roofing for any roofing jobs you might have.

Went Great ,crew showed up on time , worked efficiently in cold and windy conditions , kept me in the loop the whole time . Steve was easy to deal with and understood what I wanted .

I can think of no other construction firm that I’ve had a better experience with than Gibson Roofing. And I’ve seen a LOT. From the first minute talking with Steve there was an air of calm professionalism and knowledge that I came to rely on. In my case it wasn’t clear that a re-roof was necessary. Steve, in an attempt to help make it through one more winter, and without charge, applied sealant around some questionable venting that was not correctly installed 19 years ago. Later we talked at length about better options, and the more I learned about the capabilities of his firm and the quality of Owens Corning roofing materials it was clear that Gibson Roofing is exceptional and I would be well served to utilize their skills. A very competitive same day estimate complete with specifications and a detailed roof drawing framed the proposal nicely. Steve was able to fit the job into my narrow time frame late in this season, and I am very thankful for that. His highly skilled crew descended on my house and had the job done in a couple of days, and it looks great! It kind of freaked out my cats but they’ll get over it. The cleanup afterward was spectacular. I’ve never seen it done better. They’ll be back in a week or so to do gutter repairs as a separate job and I’m looking forward to it.

Our roof was in really bad shape....a ninety-seven-year-old house and no one had ever replaced the roof, just added layers and layers of shingles....so I knew it would be a challenging task. But thanks to Steve Gibson and his very hard-working crew, they transformed our sad 'tarped' roof into a beautiful new one. Steve was very kind and helpful and was always available for any questions we had. He was very fair with the cost and we would highly recommend Gibson Roofing!

I contacted several roofing contractors for bids when it was clear we needed a full roof replacement. Steve was the only contractor who personally called me and explained his business model, and how his team would perform the work. His bid came slightly under the other contractors, and he clearly explained the exceptional circumstances that might necessitate him charging us over the bid price. The workers replaced the roof in two days, and we paid exactly the price indicated in the bid. The workers were professional, and left the worksite as clean as it was when they arrived. I was impressed with Steve Gibson's professionalism, integrity and reliability, and would definitely recommend Gibson Roofing.

I am over the moon with Gibson. They did several quotes for me for different venting options and quoted new gutters. Then during the job something came up - the breezeway to the detached garage didn't have plywood. Gibson recommended about 10 sheets of plywood to allow the warranty to cover the roof. After a quick call to Gibson, they agreed to cover the roof with the warranty, but allow me to exclude the detached garage from the warranty and avoid the extra cost of 10 sheets of plywood. They started after a few weeks and were on the property for 2 days. They left the place sparkling clean. They paid extreme attention to detail. The new roof looks great. Thank you Gibson!

Gibson Roofing went above and beyond. They answered all my questions in a timely manner, the crew was on time and great workers. The roof is beautiful, and they left no mess at all. 100% recommend them to anyone.

Communication was great. Installed in a timely manner. But after it was completed they had damaged part of my Siding and I was told at first that it was not my responsibility to fix(on two separate occasions) but then I received a call and said they would not fix it and said it was bad siding. Not sure why they changed their mind, it’s literally maybe $30.00 in material that clearly was their fault.

I've been a contractor for 45 years and the employee's at Gibson were awesome to work with. They were on time and budget. They did a wonderful job I would not hesitate to use them again.

We have lived in our 110 year old Portland bungalow for 25 years and done many improvement projects over the years. Steve Gibson and Gibson Roofing rank among the best we have ever used, and we would absolutely call Steve for a variety of home projects. We contacted seven companies for bids on our new roof, which included a full tear off. Half the house and the garage never had plywood underneath the shingles. We also needed new gutters/downspouts. In addition to that, We needed straightening of the corbels That support the roof above the large front porch. Steve and his crews were able to commit to complete all of these tasks within an agreed upon time frame. We highly recommend Steve Gibson because: 1. It went very well. The old roofing material was removed and new roofing was installed. They installed all new roof vents and flashing. They even added a couple bathroom vents. The whole job was done in three days. Very quick!
