FAUX ILLUSIONS INC

As we renovated our new home prior to moving in, a series of misunderstandings and careless acts left several obvious rips and tears in the wallpaper on two walls in the foyer and dining room. This was especially disheartening when we couldn't find wallpaper we liked nearly as much. The wallpaper is at least 15 years old and is no longer made. After we asked one of the subcontractors who damaged the wallpaper if she knew anybody who might be capable of "repairing" it with paint, the subcontractor suggested Faux Illusions. Ms. Hooper came out to do an estimate and was confident she could achieve a good result. She specializes in producing faux surfaces on walls with paint and plaster, so she is obviously experienced with paint. Ms. Hooper showed up to do the work as scheduled and was a pleasure to have in the house. She was very pleasant and polite even when we prematurely pointed out areas that weren't matching up perfectly just yet, and she did an amazing job. I honestly cannot locate most of the areas that were ripped or torn even if I look very closely and carefully. We would gladly hire Faux Illusions again for wallpaper repair or any other faux-surface task. I honestly can't of a single negative thing to say about the experience of working with Ms. Hooper.
