Garber Excavating

Description of Work: Our septic tank cleaner told us the septic tank had cracked and had to be replaced. This sounded terrible. But he recommended I call Arlen Garber for help and that was very good advice. Arlen responded to my call that very afternoon and came out that evening to take a look. So he took my big nightmare, figured out the best solutions, knew all the right people to call. In fact he seemed to know everybody, would call them up right in front of me with his cell phone, and got things under way with great dispatch. Arlen had to figure out a site for the new septic tank that would align with the existing drain field, documented it all for the county, and excavated the hole. Then he called the septic tank hauler, gave him directions and a pep talk so he would keep moving in the right direction. He took out a section of fence, guided the driver through a maze of oak trees so the truck could drop that septic tank into the hole with one foot clearance on every side, very neat. With the new septic tank hooked up, Arlen crushed the old septic tank into nothingness, smoothed out the disturbed landscape, and put my fence back up.
