Neighbor saw it, and also used them for patio extension.

Description of Work: I have waited three months to let my emotions subside before writing this report. After 26 years in the heavy construction industry, I have seen the best...none of which work for E&M! I contracted with Eric to replace my front sidewalk & my driveway plus entended parking. When it rains, I now have a large puddle at the end of my driveway. E&M also installed a drain for my covered deck, they simply "pulled " my down spout to the side to align with there drain, which I repaired, to stop the neighbors from laughing. I could have hired a D.I.Y.er at half the priced and ended up with the same result, not what I expected for a company that represents themselves as, "professionals". But in all fairness, I must say the front sidewalk is acceptable, but again, a puddle at the curb. As remodelers their work may be adequate but they are over their heads when it comes to flatwork, their knowledge of grades, is nonexistent, they even failed to call for a final inspection, which I had to do!

Description of Work: We received an estimate from E & M Remodeling & Construction about two years ago for installing a driveway.

Description of Work: They removed old steps and put in new ones.

Description of Work: Two sets of brick and railroad ties were falling apart; they looked awful and were a safety problem. In fact my husband took a terrible fall on one set last winter. Eric from E&M Remodeling and Construction looked at the job, listened to my concerns, and pointed out a couple of considerations that had not occurred to me. He gave me a business card with his state licensing number and after a two day interval he e-mailed me an estimate that broke down the costs for each set of steps. I accepted the bid. He removed all the bricks and railroad ties on the two stairways, as well as some cracked and tilted concrete.. He built forms that accommodated the turns of the stairs and filled them. Then he and his uncle finished the surfaces, removed, and carried away the forms. Two men did all the work, except for the pouring which took three men, plus the truck driver. They worked the surface to a beautifully colored gravelly texture.

Description of Work: Replaced concrete driveway-removed existing broken concrete, excavated & replaced rock base, prepped & poured concrete with exposed finished & removed all debris.
