About us

We are growers of landscape plants like hardy Perennials, Ferns & Hostas, Trees & Shrubs, Ornamental Grasses, Japanese Maples, and the unusual like Bamboo, Palm trees, and Dinosaur Food to name a few. We also carry many drought tolerant and deer resistant varieties as well. Majority of our plant stock is grown here, at the Nursery. The Nursery is open April though October and by appointment only until March. Including Daryll, the owner, there are 3 employees at Daryll's Nursery that bring their own specialties to the business. Daryll is the owner and manager of all aspects. With his Associates of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture and experience in the field, Daryll can provide vast amounts of knowledge about plants and their niches, the right pruning techniques, identifying most plants and many other things. Josiah has knowledge on most aspects of the Nursery, great customer service skills, planting and pruning skills, knowledge about all plants for the right place, etc. Nikki is our social media expert. Earned her Associates of Science degree in Horticulture and uses her knowledge to best inform customers of the right plants for their area with experience in tree pruning and planting.

Services we offer

Our knowledge allows us to show you the right plant for your area as well as ID plants you may have an interest in. We offer tree & shrub planting and removal. We also offer ornamental tree & shrub pruning year round and fruit tree pruning in the winter to early spring. Pruning bid estimates are FREE.

Services we don't offer

We do not carry garden accessories, pots, pesticides, or fertilizers. As well as fruit trees, roses, bedding plants or house plants.

We love shopping at Daryll's Nursery because of their knowledge and selection! When we needed to enhance our landscaping, we knew we would find what we needed there. Daryll not only had numerous options as to types of plants, but when he didn't quite have enough of a specific tree we wanted, he personally drove up to Woodburn to get it! When it came to planting, his crew worked in a torrential downpour to get the job done! And, if that doesn't make them awesome enough, when I mentioned that the placement was a little off for my liking (it was POURING the day they planted, I really can't blame them), Josiah came back out and replanted them to my satisfaction, all without charging me extra. We were truly pleased and will definitely be using their services again!
Description of Work: Purchased shrubs and trees to be planted as an accompaniment to a retaining wall.

It is a fairly large nursery and the guy grows the plants here. He probably knows as much about plants as anybody around. He's been here for 20 years. When I buy plants from him, I know they will work. They do planting and tree trimming. It is so good to have a local place around. He gives good service and he knows what the deer will eat and what they won't. They will plant them for me if I want. During the winter they do tree trimming. They are an outstanding, honest and local place that I can trust. I used him all last summer and I use him every year. I have 3 acres so I am always buying plants. His prices are fair and I trust them.
