The two main chairs were upholstered in white fabric, which I had purchased myself from B&H Upholstery in Eugene (another good local establishment on Wilson St). I had to wait until the end of summer until she had an opening to do these chairs but it was worth the wait. She did a great job. Both chairs are quite old and get almost daily use. Their white fabric was soiled and greying. Diane replaced the foam on both seats and did a superb job on covering them. Over $400 per chair was pricey, and I could have perhaps bought new chairs for somewhat less, but then they just don't make chairs the way they used to and these are probably going to outlast me. Diane picked up the chairs from me and delivered them back, hefting them herself and refusing my help. She covered them loosely in plastic during the transporting to keep them clean. The occasional chair seat was an eggplant color fabric that had been damaged. I had unsuccessfully searched high and low to find something that would 'go' with the chair back. Diane had a remnant she thought would work and, working from memory having only seen the chair once, provided a great match. When I bought the fabric at B&H they asked me who was going to do the work and when I told them Myrtle's upholstery, they said, "O yes, Diane does good work." And they were right!

The pieces are awesome. Diana was very patient with during the process of choosing just the right fabric. She brought the pieces in and I couldn't believe the transformation. Very kind, supportive people. Would easily do business again with them. Recommend highly.

I found this chair in an antique mall and emailed photos to Diane to see if she could do the job and if she would agree to use fabric I had acquired at a discount fabric shop (some upholsterers require that they sell you the fabric.) She was willing to use my fabric and told me how much she would need based on the photos I had sent. She also agreed to pick up the chair and the fabric at the antique shop. She kept the chair for a bit longer than I had hoped, but I wasn't in a hurry, so it worked out all right. She delivered the chair to my home. The finished job is excellent. She is very very good. The matches with the patterned fabric are perfect and the detailing is quite professional. She supplied a new foam cushion which made a big difference in the comfort of the chair. A very good job. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
