There was a hick-up in getting the parts, but once they arrived, they were installed and my problem was fixed. Dylan kept me informed on what was going on and was more than willing to work with my schedule. I did not have to take a day off from work and sit at home waiting for someone to show up. Great job.

Run like the wind. Dylan is not a large business as his photos would imply, he is a one trick pony, and appliance repair ain't it! He is non-responsive at best after he has your money. Pretty sad that I had to fix it myself after 3 weeks of no refrigerator. Had he just done the most basic check of my refrigerator before immediately jumping to oh, you have this part burned out...and when that didn't fix it, then it then a 400 buck part that would not get here for at least 10 days. I chose instead to buy it from Sears to try and get it here sooner, which I did, and at only 300.00 I might add. He came out and replaced it, but then I didn't have a display. He said that meant the new board had a problem with the display relay. I also asked if we could open the bottom up to see if the smell of spilled milk was coming from there, and sure enough, chunks...he took our shop vac and quickly vacuumed up the area that was immediately accessible, closed it up, and by that time we realized that the door was beeping to say it was open, and stopped when we opened it, that was why the display wasn't working, and he said now the problem was in the door relay on the new card and left. At least with the old board the freezer still worked, but he didn't even offer to put it back in. So, fast forward, another week to get a new board. Tried to get him back out and after the run around he finally told me I could do it myself. Guess what, same problem...turns out he had only given us part of the number for the part from Sears, and they were sending us something that had been changed. So, instead of him doing his homework, we bought a part we didn't need, that I now get to pay a restocking fee to sears to get any money back at all. While I was back behind I thought I would check for any further chunks...and with the exception of the very easily accessed parts, it was covered in spoiled sour milk! I then cleaned it out completely, including the coils, put the old part back in to stop the beeping and get the freezer going again at least...and low and behold...she is purring like a kitten. It took me all of one google search to find out that if the coils are dirty, the fridge can't cool. Yeah yeah, I know I should have checked that first, but I wouldn't have had any idea where to start, and well, appliance, big big expensive appliance...go to the experts right? Well, don't go to Evergreen Appliance Service if you are looking for a expert. When I talked to him about what had happened and said I wanted at least half of the money back, and that if he didn't try and make it right, or I would review him accordingly he basically told me to shove it...and that him cleaning my chunks was him going above and beyond the call of duty, yet don't other folks that repair fridges have to clean coils? Maybe it was not the funnest thing to clean up, but above and beyond? I think not. So, here is what I learned, don't put a jar of frozen goats milk in your fridge if you are not sure it isn't cracked... And if you do need repairs, look elsewhere. Also, Sears is going down the tubes, wouldn't suggest buying anything from them if you might need any repairs done. If you want to speak to anyone who is not in a call center overseas, good luck with that.Only reason I went with Evergreen was they couldn't even get anyone out for at least 2 weeks.
