Shannon Hanke does extremely nice work at a reasonable price, and is very pleasant and professional to work with. Other reviewers have mentioned that he is a little slow to respond initially, and that may be because he is in high demand, so expect to be patient for a few days after contacting him. Once he was able to fit us into his schedule, he communicated very responsively, always let us know when he would be on site, and never failed to deliver on his promises. He is extremely careful and respectful of the client's property and did a great job of keeping everything clean. Quiet, pleasant, and personable on the job, works steadily and efficiently, and his workmanship is outstanding. Definitely recommended.

I had a great experience with Artistic Tile Creations. I was in the process of finishing a major renovation on my house and the kitchen had just been completed. The last project was having my tile backsplash installed. I was going to use another company, but they did such a horrible job on my master bathroom shower, I had to go with someone else. After meeting with three other companies, I selected Artistic Tile Creations. Working with Shannon was great! He took his time with the installation, making sure my tiles were straight and put up correctly. He tried to make little mess and cleaned up after himself every day. I was so pleased with the work done on my kitchen, I hired him to tear out and install a new master shower. This was not an easy or streamlined job. He had to bring in a plumber to fix mistakes made from the previous team. I had a glass shower door built based on information provided by the other team and after Shannon reviewed the measurements and drawings, he realized it wouldn’t fit. In an effort to save me money having to build another door, he went to the glass company to try and find a solution. This threw off his schedule for the week and other projects as a result. He spent time helping me set out my mixed pattern cement tiles and did not get upset helping me again the next day when I changed them up. He’s professional, hardworking, and easy to get along with. The shower turned out amazing! I would highly recommend Artistic Tile Creations and will be using them again the next time I need tile work done.

I was very happy with them. I am absolutely in love with it! He did a bang up job. I am really happy with it. I got different tile so I had to pay extra, but we got very expensive tile over and above what he bid. When I got to looking at what the tile was, it was for a very basic, basic tile so the price was not their fault. They were very responsive, they called back when I was having questions about my tile. They got pictures of it and sent pictures from the tile company. Gave me their feedback on about what they thought about it. They were good, very good.

Shannon is prompt, pleasant and communicates well. He provides a detailed estimate and completes the task as planned. I enjoyed having Shannon and his coworkers at Artistic Tile at my home. They were low key, professional and just seemed very trustworthy. I have had unpleasant experiences with unprofessional, uninterested, unkempt, contractors in the past. I am very pleased to say this was the polar opposite. Shannon should teach a class in customer service! I would certainly recommend him and hire him for future tile jobs.

They have a lot of experience with tile and creating beautiful spaces. This is the second time that I have used them for a bathroom remodel. They also have really good communication skills which is rare these days. My bathroom was completely transformed into a beautiful space instead of just a generic room in the house!

Shannon arrived on Monday, Dec 14th as planned, set up his tools and began working. Shannon was very professional. He had floor protection from the entrance to the house into an throughout the kitchen. In addition, Shannon has placed linings to protect the lower cabinets during his work. The attention to detail was fantastic. All tiles were installed perfectly level, all at the same depth, and grout lines that are perfect in size, length and depth. Upon completion of the tile, all outlet covers were returned and some outlets were not set up for tile depth and Shannon made the adjustments to have outlet covers fit. Not only did all outlet covers make it back on, but all the screws holding the outlets were turned the same exact way. Perfection!

Shannon Hanke, Artistic Tile Creations, is a complete professional and skilled craftsman. First to his skill ? we contracted to have our kitchen backsplash done in an older home with a difficult shape and older fixtures that could not be moved. With skill and true craftsmanship he made the old kitchen look completely new, with just the right touch of taste. He even replaced all the outlet fixture covers, and made sure they were seated perfectly. In addition, when done, the entire kitchen was spotless. Above all else, I must say Shannon is a true Master Craftsman. Truly a Professional ? Our schedule is a difficult one to say the very least. Shannon not only was willing to match our schedule, but when he said he would be at our house he was there promptly and ready to work. He wasted no time, and completed the job earlier than his estimate. In addition, his estimate was on the money, no unforeseen charges. Shannon was un-intrusive, polite, and truly professional. Overall, I cannot give Artistic Tile Creations any higher rating. Not only would I hire this company again, I intend to do so in the near future.

The finished job is beautiful. Not only was he professional, he was here when he said he would be, always pleasant and friendly, I would hire him again, in an instant. Shannon made it all easy, which I so appreciated. Cannot get better than this, all the way around !!

I purchased an $349 "Angie's Deal" for up to 40 square feet of back splash with an $80 credit for tile. I did not know what I was getting into. A Deal on any site is always a bit of a risk. Shannon gave me his full attention and communicated easily by email and text while installing the project. I had no idea when I sketched out what I wanted for a back splash that it was so complicated or time consuming. Shannon honored the deal with grace and professionalism. The work he performed was worth about 5X (no exaggeration) the price of the deal and he did not complain or mention this in any way while on the job. I am so pleased with my new back splash, it is the centerpiece of an already lovely kitchen remodel. The work compliments and pulls together all the other elements. The craftsmanship is flawless and Shannon was a pleasure to work with. The $525 for the job reflects the cost above the $80 tile allotment and the extra I chose to pay for such an excellent job that was so under-priced (still not close to what the job was worth). His work is 100% beautiful and of the highest quality.I will use Artistic Tile Creations again in the future as a first choice. If you have a vision for a project in your home Artistic Tile Creations can turn it into a reality.

We are do it yourselfers that rarely call in help, but I called Shannon in mid June because I had a tile job that my husband didn't have time to finish and we were planning to leave town in 6 weeks so we needed the job done as soon as possible. Most of the tilers recommended by friends were booked too far out to be of service. I searched Angie's list for a tiler with great reviews and found Shannon. This was a small job that he started and finished within a week of my call. Marble tile has an abrupt edge rather than the curved edge of porcelain, so any variation in the height of the tile is very apparent. Shannon did a beautiful job and the tiles are perfectly smooth. Also, we ran out of the original tile and ordered more, but there was a slight variation in the spacing of the new tile compared to the original. Shannon strategically placed the new tile in hard to see places so that the differences are not apparent. Shannon is professional and polite, just the type of person you want working in your home. We will definitely hire him on future projects.

Shannon was great! He is friendly and skilled, with a relaxed but professional manner. He showed up when he said he would, communicated with us via text and phone when needed, and gave us the beautiful backsplash we were hoping for at a reasonable price. Could I have done it myself? Of course. But he did it faster, better, and with much less stress and mess than had I done it, and was 100% worth every penny. Even my husband agrees! ;-) We are very happy with his work and with him as a contractor, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing tile work done. Thanks, Shannon!

He was wonderful. He did exactly what he said he was going to do, and he did a very good job. I would hire him again, and I can't say that about very many people, but I would rehire him. It took a little more tile than the buyers deal had specified. He was a really nice fellow.

Shannon returned my call the same day that I found him on Angie's list. He came out that day to do an estimate and had a bid including the tile to me with in a week. I had already chosen the tile I wanted and He was able to get the tile for less money then we had originally thought it would cost. He started the job on a Tuesday and was finished by the following Monday. He was very professional, kept the work area clean, and did a wonderful job. I will always use him for future tile work.
