+ -1 moreWindow replacement was done very "surgically" clean and fast. Old windows were removed, new ones put in place very quickly. Finishing with the added wood frames we wanted on the inside and vinyl frames we wanted on the outside of the house was completed with care and great attention to detail and tidiness. Left place clean, touched up paint in some places. Did a great job. I bought a new house and I am getting them now, in 2015, to do the windows again. I would not try to experiment with any other company.
Description of Work: Replaced old aluminum windows and sliding door with new Vinyl ones.

+ -1 moreMick's was responsive to price quote and followed through on notifications and ordering (glass took a special order). They replaced the glass promptly when scheduled. Their cost was less than the dealer's cost. They were prompt in providing a quote; I couldn't get a quote from most in the area because it required special ordering, so most didn't get back to me, but Mick's did. I have ordered windows from them in the past, and they always followed through and though they didn't do the installation, they checked back to make sure there weren't problems with the windows.

+ -1 moreThe large window was an upstairs window with access from the balcony below. Mick's Glass was the lower price bid. Once we received the estimate and asked to move forward with the job, they ordered the new window, which only took a few days to arrive. They were able to remove the old window and hoist up the new window using ladders and special equipment. They were very professional and experienced. They were careful to keep things as neat and clean as possible during the installation and they vacuumed the dust and debris afterwards. We are very pleased with their work.

The results have been a better insulated area, a great looking sliding glass door and a good investment into the value of my home. The team came recommended from neighbors and I would gladly refer anyone to these good folks.

Description of Work: We just moved into an older house, and the calcium buildup on our master bath and guest bath doors was horrible. We tried every cleaner known to humankind and nothing even touched it. So, we decided we were going to have to buy new doors and set out to get estimates to do so. The first estimate, from one of Mick's competitors, was nearly $600 just for the master bedroom door! The fellow who came out from Mick's suggested that he buff the door out with polishing compound instead. He did all the doors/panels, and they look terriffic. And the best news is it cost just about two-thirds of the cost of the one door. He was extremely hard-working and professional. I would deal with this company again and recommend them without reservation.

Description of Work: Great service, stated it would take 6 hours and was completed in 5 hours. They provided transportation from activity I was engaged in while waiting. The windshield they provided was actually better than the one we discussed, I have special needs due to light sensitivity, Don't hesitate to use them. My insurance paid in full, however, the price was surprising affordable.

+ 1 moreMalcolm came out and gave me an estimate with recommended type of slider. He noted that some trim work would be required since the original set of doors had trim work that was not proper. Within 2 weeks, his crew of Clint and Daniel came out and took out the old set of doors and put in the new sliding glass door perfectly. They then came back with wood trim that they stained to match the color of the stain on the existing trim on the other window. The fit was perfect, the workmanship was great, and the price beat all others. Great job by a local expert in the business. I highly recommend Mick's Glass.

+ 0 moreVery well. After I dropped off my car I was given a ride to work, and could have also been picked up, if needed. The work was supposed to be finished in 4-6 hours, and it was done in 5 hours. I got a lifetime warranty for leaking. The cost was as quoted, and nobody tried to get me to buy anything extra. The windshield looked great, and they even vacuumed the car.

+ -1 moreWe received advice and an estimate promptly for the work required. The work was completed rather quickly and completely in two sessions. Upon the completion of the job, we were reminded of the warranties of one year on the labor and 10 years on the product.
Description of Work: Glass was removed and replaced from several windows where the glass or seal had been compromised. Windows that had problems opening were fixed.
