Top notch! Hendrix has done my furnace maintenance for 20 years and when I needed a new one quickly in cold weather they didn't try to sell me more than I needed, and they managed to install one quickly at a very busy time of year. Then, when the furnace didn't perform as I had hoped, they worked with me to get it right. I'm pleased with the result with the furnace and glad to have this reliable and responsive company to call on.

They were able to schedule us quickly and completed the job in a timely manner. They charged significantly less than the two other companies that gave us estimates. I would hire them again.

I paid the after hour rate $150 because I could not wait. Daughter was coming home with a new baby that night. The first company did not correctly diagnose the problem. They wanted me to buy a new furnace or replace the inducer motor. When Hendrix arrived they were very professional and quickly realized that the burners just needed to be cleaned up. They cleaned them up and reinstalled and the furnace is working fine.

It was amazing. We had a new baby on the way and Hendrix Heating made space for us to have our unit installed before our new little girl was born. They were amazing, friendly, very professional and kind. They worked extremely hard to finish the job in one day and it was a large job.

I really like this company. They are friendly and responsive, even in this awful heatwave when I know they're totally swamped with calls. Willie has been the service provider the last two times and he's excellent. I highly recommend this business.

They did a great job. The price was not the lowest in town but each experience I had with them was great so I was willing to pay more for quality service.

Work went very well. The salesman who gave me the bid knew what he was talking about, answered all my questions, and followed up with a phone call to make sure everything was working as I expected.

Very prompt. Gave me several scenarios, as $was a big concern. Helped with the tax forms that allowed me to get a discount. Guys who came were very friendly and professional. They called the city to line up the inspection and always called the day before to confirm the appointments.

Everything went as planned. They communicated well, and even procured an additional rebate from the local utility, which other contractors did not mention. I was extremely pleased with the professionalism, communication, pricing and of course the install. Would highly recommend, and would use again.

Josh (the sales rep.) was very polite, knowledgeable, and came across as very honest, always on top of things. We would give him an A. His main installer also deserves an A. The two young men who helped with the installation need to learn a bit more professionalism but I think that will come in time. At this time they get a B.

We recently finished one year with Hendrix. We wanted to be part of their service plan for much longer but unfortunately it was not our choice. In May 2015 we purchased a Trane furnace and heat pump. The installers were respectful of our home. All employees we initially dealt with through our first year were very nice, technicians showed up on time and were courteous, office staff friendly and helpful. Saleman Sean was informative and sold us a small system because our home is small, said we didn’t need a larger one. All other companies we received estimates from were for larger systems and more expensive. In our first year we experienced a variety of issues such as the motor catching fire the first time we turned the system on, furnace being entirely different than pictures shown by Sean, outdoor thermostat not installed, recalled indoor thermostat, defective part giving out shutting off the system etc. Throughout all this, the staff at Hendrix was terrific! They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of especially after the frightening motor fire. We were informed the motor was defective. Again we thank everyone at Hendrix. We asked a few polite questions of Carla at our one year anniversary. Sean responded, treated us disrespectfully and informed us everything that had happened was our fault and because of that Hendrix did not make a profit on us. Carla terminated us immediately from their service plan because as she said it’s her company and she can do what she wants.

They were very attentive. They explained everything. It's a programmable system and when I call trying to program something, he will grant me through it pretty easy. They spend a lot of time making sure you know how to use it. It has worked great.

They were very responsive and they came out almost immediately. They quickly found the issue and resolved it. Since they were charging me for a minimum amount of time, he went ahead and did extra stuff to fill the time. The price was good, it was fair. He showed me what he was doing and talked about the issues. He didn't say that it was a simple thing. He fixed some other things and showed me what he was doing.

About 5 years ago we bought a gas insert from Hendrix. We loved it! But last winter the remote didn't work properly. Hendrix no longer sold or serviced inserts so we called a place in Albany. The guy tried, but failed to fix it. With winter coming on we called Hendrix--what do we do? Carla said they wouldn't dessert us and sent Steve out. It took Steve 3 trips, with several phone calls to the manufacturer. He replaced several different parts, rewired the stove, replaced both the remote and the receiver. Nothing worked, but Steve and Hendrix didn't quit. Finally, our stove works again! Now our home is warm and toasty again. And the price? They gave us most of the parts for free and the labor charge was about a quarter of what it could have been. We highly recommend Hendrix for all your heating needs.

They were on time, polite, and they left my house and yard clean. It was a full day's job and there were several workers here completing the job. A positive experience from beginning to end.

They are excellent. I have service contacts with them every six months.

First of all I had done a lot of research on the internet, to figure out exactly what I needed. They were very patient while I explained what needed to be done. They put no pressure on us to hire them, while we shopped around. but we called them a few days later to install a heat pump. Jason and Troy, the installers, came out a few days later to do the work. They were very respectful. They were very informative and professional. It took a few days to complete the installation, but they explained how to use the thermostat. They offered us a product of theirs called comfort for life. With this, they come out every 3 months to change the filter, and provide maintenance as needed.

They were great. They come by to do maintenance on the A.C. They were on time.

I now have a maintenance program and they come out to check on it and service it every 6 months, for free! I got estimates and they were the lowest and I also got references from people who had used them.

Months after install, staff came out to determine the cause of an error message. It was discovered then that the unit has insufficient clearance to service the furnace and filter due to insufficient room in front of them. There are other furnaces that will fit the space and I am grateful Hendrix Heating is willing to take back this one that is too large for the closet.

They are very professional in the bidding, installation, and follow-up. I am not sure that the price was the lowest but the the installation was well done, quick, and included all the paperwork for getting rebates.
