• In the beginning it seemed like they did everything right. In the end, they damaged the two items we asked them to be responsible to pack which were either very expensive or very sentimental. We packed everything else. As I reported the damaged items to them they took weeks to reply. They ended up picking up the damaged floor lamp to send to the lighting store in Albany for repair. But the crew that picked it up were in a hurry-up-and-get-it-to-the-truck mode, failing to prevent the various parts of the lamp from clanging into each other and causing more damage. I asked them to add more blankets to protect it. They then said "You don't have to be a d!@khead about it." I then asked for their names, and they refused to disclose their names. They then said they would be reporting me to their management. After they added more blankets they then started to move it to the truck, and then repeated the phrase "You don't have to be a d!@khead about it."

Cal's is extraordinary. When we were moving in the late summer/early fall 2022, Cal's was the only company that actually came on site to provide an estimate. It was actually Cal that showed up. Extremely professional, personable and helpful. He was able to provide detailed information and an extremely accurate quote. The packers that showed up the day before the move were very efficient. The crew that actually moved us were phenomenal. They were efficient, polite, professional and thorough. When it ended up that we needed a second trip to get all of our possessions, the crew did not hesitate to work until after 11:00 PM to complete the job. I would recommend Cal's over any national movers (we've used a number over the years) and all of the other top rated local movers that we contacted for this move. They are awesome! This is NOT a paid advertisement and we did pay out of pocket for the services we received.

This was a two-person, word-of-mouth referral. Cal's was outstanding from every aspect of our move, beginning to end. Professional, timely, courteous, friendly, meticulous and conscientious. We had two trucks and four movers. They moved about with care and accuracy. They were respectful of us and the houses we were moving from and to. I don't often rate companies, but Cal's deserves every star available. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Awful con artists who will treat your possessions poorly and deliver slower than promised, all while trying to find reasons to charge you more for things you do not need.

Very happy with Cal's. The team worked together very efficiently and well, cheerful and pleasant, and they even helped us set up furniture in the new place. The cost below is a rounded total for both moves including two 160-mile round trips.

These guys are the BEST! I used them for two moves last summer. Both times, they were on time, polite, well-equipped, and so helpful! The second move was quite difficult - I was leaving a challenging situation. Cal's men were professional and intent on getting the job done quickly. Finally, I had a weird request of them: I needed a couch delivered to my apartment after it was delivered to the wrong address. (!) It was late on a Thursday, I think. They weren't able to get to it that night but the Magnificent Morgan contacted me later in the evening and said he had it arranged for the next day. By that time, My super had agreed to make it happen so I didn't need Cal's help, but I was SO appreciative of their dedication to getting me my couch! A great company. Hire them always. Thanks Cal!!

Moving is a trying experience for anyone. Cal's Movers were efficient and considerate, making the move painless. They adjusted their schedule to meet ours. They carefully wrapped and handled delicate furnishings and were loaded and unloaded across Corvallis in less than three hours. Their actual charge was less than their reasonable estimate.

Alexis, Angel and Nate at Cal's Moving Help just moved my piano and they did a first rate job. If you need something special moved or even just a general mover, I recommend this company. Communication was good and they called to confirm schedule and start/end addresses. Price was fair and well communicated in advance. The guys worked safely, were careful and respectful of the home and the piano, they were well prepared with correct staff level, equipment and methods and got it all done faster than expected. I highly recommend them.

Cal's team of Cris, Jason, Jesse, John and Preston moved us out of our house of 45 years and into our new house 98 miles away. I was so impressed with the professionalism of these 5 young men who treated our furniture with care and respect. They were a hardworking team, constantly moving despite multiple stairs, bulky, odd-shaped furniture, and weather that fluctuated between rain, snow, sleet, and hail all day long! They were friendly, respectful, and accommodating to our many requests. All our possessions arrived safely - dry and undamaged. I was able to work directly with the team through the whole process to make sure we were all on the same page. The communication with the team was prompt and efficient. The team was so careful and considerate when moving the items into the house, going above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. They turned what can be a very stressful day into an easy day for me.

It had been 16 years since our last move, was not looking forward to this process. The crew that arrived on moving day was great, they were efficient, handled everything with great care, and they all had a great sense of humor while staying professional. Could not have asked for a smoother interstate move

I was moving my father to assisted living which was very stressful but Cal's moving was great. Wyatt and Tanner were on time and very carefully wrapped furniture and took care moving furniture in tight spaces. I was very impressed with these two young men. I will be moving in about 2 months myself and will for sure use Cal's moving service and ask for Wyatt and Tanner to do my move. Price at Cal's is fair. Thank you, Gloria Clark

The guys from Cal’s that moved our house were awesome, hard working and efficient. We were impressed how they wrapped up the furniture nice, used padding blankets during transporting, and then were very careful when bringing it all into the new house. Saved our backs and sanity! Definitely would use them again when needing help with moving.

It went great, they were on time and really packed our storage space as full as they could. They only charged for the time they were there so it was less then they had quoted.... we will be hiring them to unpack our storage when house is ready.

This service went very well. Trace and Alexi were very courteous and professional. We had purchased an antique buffet from a private individual in W. Salem. Trace and Alexi were very careful with wrapping of the piece, not sliding it on the sellers floors, handling was great. When they arrived at our location we had furniture they moved to make room for the new piece and all was handled professionally and done very well. We were very happy with this service.

The team of Cal’s Moving Help were prompt, professional and careful with everything! They’re efficient, working constantly and kept each other informed of the progress. They had a good natured attitude with us and each other which helped us feel less stress. First professional moving company we’ve ever used and it was an amazing experience. This is my first time to moving and really lucky to have them to help me. The day we asked them came is a raiding day, the crews are so smart/ flexible and all so polite. They quickly decided to move all items from upstairs to downstairs while the rain is heavy and they moved out all items when there’s no rain. Also they considered my house, they put the blue carpet to avoid the wet shoes to damage my carpet. With their help, they really moving all my furniture and lots of boxes (over 300 boxes) to fit in one trailer. I don’t know how they organized and put all in one trailer because I am so worried to already order 2 trailer because I don’t believe all my items can fit in one trailer. They’re also helping me hauled away all unwanted items/ furniture with great deal. Overall they really helped me to save lots money and saved my time to load /haul away just in one day. I can’t imagine how I can do this all by myself. I really appreciate is their crews, Peter, Cris, Morgan & Kameron are the best. Thank you for helping me move.

Horribly! It is now under legal dispute. They damaged and misplaced items, kept us up until midnight, two days in a row, when they estimated it would take 1 day and four guys. They also tried to charge approximately 1.5 times what they estimated, and we had to pay an additional $1,100 to another mover to move and set-up items they were supposed to move, and still didn't, even after two days. They locked themselves out of their truck on the 2nd day, and we had to get our sick neighbor out of bed at midnight to cut the lock off of the back of their truck, so they could get their keys. We had nice furniture, including antiques, which we collected for many years. We're just sick over what happened. We're over 65 and this has been an incredibly stressful experience. If you care about your belongings, I would stay away from them. Additionally, they tout themselves as a premier moving company, which we thought meant they actually had many years of experience, when in reality, they've only been in business approximately 2 years, and the movers which showed up were all young college age. After the move, the owner told us he had appointed someone else to handle our move because he was taking college finals.

It went very well. Edgar, Trace and Allen were professional and efficient. They took good care of my stuff, did the work in a timely manner, and managed to get all my stuff in a storage unit...and got the door closed!

I am grateful to Cal's Moving Help for taking a stressful move and turning it into an easy, fast, and streamlined experience. Peter and Caden arrived exactly on time and were both extremely professional. They were able to do work that I and my friends could not do, including disassemble (and reassemble) a bed in order to get it moved. They had the right tools and the knowledge to get my move completed without any delays. Even their office managers answered my questions and helped me put out fires before the move ever took place. When/if I need to move again, I know I’ll use them for this service. I’ll also gladly recommend them to anyone who asks.
