BETH YOUNG GARDEN DESIGN

Beth is very easy to get along with and we enjoyed working with her very much.She was very thorough, coming out to our property several times to step off the areas we wanted plans for, measure the yards and specific areas to be designed, and completely explain her service, answer questions, and go through the plans with us. We made two trips to Corvallis to meet and discuss the plans and to finalize the design. She provide a complete plant list with sources for us which stressed using native to Oregon plants which is her specialty and was part of our requirements. Additionally, we requested and she chose so called "deer proof" plants to help minimize the damage done by the many deer that graze around our home. Overall, it went very well !

The price included measuring our yards, front and back, and showing where the plants are now. She had us fill out a questionaire and talked to us about what we wanted. She drew up a color plan that showed what it would look like. We made slight adjustments (like she showed a water faucet a few feet off on her plan). It was really great to see what the yard could look like. I like that she changed our old concrete walkway in the front yard so it was a lot more inviting to visitors. Also, she divided our yard into diferent areas so you would not see the whole yard all at once (the way it is now) which will feel better and make it seem bigger. She drew up a plan that measures all the new paths, the new patio, etc, and a plan showing where all the plants go. It seems like a lot of plants and I'm not sure that we will put them all in. Overall, it was a good experience and I'm glad I have the plans.
