Jake did an excellent job with our tile work. He removed old tile as well as cabinets and sinks and removed all items from the property. He was also experienced at cutting new molding and replaced molding that had become warped by moisture. We would definitely use him again.

Jake did what was asked in a timely manner.

Jake did a wonderful job of not only installing the tile but taking care of all the little pieces of work that accompany it major tiling project, and he coordinated all of this work beautifully. That is, he took responsibility for the entire job, not just installing the tile. He cleaned up before he left and was respectful of our property. He was also respectful of all of the rules in the condominium building that we live in. The tile was installed very professionally, especially around the edges of the cabinets, which had some difficult corners.

Kitchen Counter Remodel We have a large kitchen: counter with sink, bar, nook bar and island. We changed the tile on the total counter top – 160 square foot of tile and 100+ linear foot of edging. We selected 18”x18” Calcutta Matte from United Tile. It is porcelain tile with a matte finish that has a marble look with tile durability. We chose TILE BY JAKE (Jake Heilman) as the contractor. The tile edging was done by Roger Crowley’s company in Tualatin. The end result was excellent – exceeded our expectations. We would strongly recommend Jake to anyone needing his expertise. He did a wonderful job. He worked with me very closely and did exactly what he said he would do.When Jake completed the tile in our shower, he left space for a frame less glass wall door. It is typically very hard to perform this task and completed it perfectly. The job is very beautiful.

A wood burning stove needs to be on a non-burning service and also have protection on the back wall. Jake completed this by tearing out and installed a new wood stove hearth and he did a beautiful job. He is very trustworthy and honest.
