We just bought this house a couple weeks ago. Yesterday we thought we could hear water running when everything was turned off. I checked the water meter, and, sure enough, we were using water. I called Chambers, based on their reviews here. The service writer asked me if I had checked that we didn't have a toilet running. I told her that we had turned off the valves to those to check whether that was the problem. I appreciated her trying to save us the cost of a service call. The plumber arrived about two hours later. He asked if we had checked the ice maker (we had). He crawled under the house and found a pinhole leak in one of the coper pipes. He had it fixed, tested, and buttoned up in less than an hour. He gave me a complete description of where the leak was, what damage it had done (none), and how he fixed it. I couldn't be more pleased

I've tried to work with Chambers several times. About fifteen years ago, I hired them to insulate and put refrigeration in a utility trailer. I gave them $5000 down. It took over a year for them to complete the job. I left repeated messages with them for their employee doing the job that went unreturned. It was a very frustrating situation but the cooler does work and we still use it. Called them another time when a large walk-in cooler went down. Said they were six weeks out on emergencies. Called them just one more time for a cooler issue a couple years ago. They sent a man out who worked on it for a one complete day and half of another, swapping parts. I finally called another company. He came out, fixed it after undoing the improper work that Chambers did. They did not send me a bill. I unwittingly hired a guy to do a sheet metal job. Didn't know it was through Chambers. It took a year and a half to wrap two very small doors and a few pieces of wood for a kitchen cabinet. Meanwhile, I had an unfinished hole in my kitchen. I honestly don't know how this company stays in business. I've never heard a good word about them in town. Maybe they take servicing large accounts more seriously.

It went GREAT, the Plumber Matt was very professional and knows his trade well. The installation was flawless, NO LEAKS, what else can you say. He wore protection on his shoes and cleaned up the work area when he was finished. If you call ask for and quot;Mattand quot;.

They did an excellent job. They took the time to go through their parts inventory and find what I needed and helped me at a reasonable cost. I have dealt with them over the years and they have always came through. I also like that they are a union shop and treat their employees and the county well. They saved me at least a $100 by helping me find the parts. They have been a trusted service provider in this area for a long time. They remain the same professional level of service even as the economy has tanked. They were very quick responding to me.

The staff at Chambers Plumbing was so friendly and helpful as we explored our options for repairing and updating an old furnace and old basement plumbing. They guided us through the process with positive, proactive advice. We were very satisfied with their service.

We have been dealing with them for almost 40 years. They put the original heating in our home and have maintained it and taken care of it all this time. We have been very satisfied and their prices are about the same as anybody else in the area. I will use them again in the future.
