+ -1 moreThey didn't do a very good job on our linoleum floor or the countertops. And she seemed to complain about all the dusts. Which strikes me as strange that they would complain about the dirt. That's what they're there for, right? Maybe she was in a bad mood. I don't know.

+ -1 moreFriendly service and punctual. However, I was not made aware beforehand that I would need to provide my own supplies, so I ended up having to go buy them in a hurry after the cleaning lady arrived.
Description of Work: I felt like my previous cleaning lady (who retired), got far more done in a much shorter time, and she charged half of what Rose Petal charged.

+ -1 moreThey have always been good people. They try to send the same person each time but sometimes it is not possible. But, I have always been pleased with who they send. I did some comparison shopping when I got them and I was pleased with them so I never had to try anyone else.
Description of Work: I use the services of Rose Petal Housekeeping. They cleaned the whole house for 4 hours.

Description of Work: I did not engage Rose Petal House Cleaning service, hence no review. This has happened a couple times when I have simply looked at service provider but did not use the service and yet I get tapped to do a review? ALSO, I WANTED TO CLICK ON N/A BUT HIT "C" RATING WHICH IS NOT APPLICABLE, PLEASE DISTREGARD. I DID NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!

+ -1 moreThey are pretty responsive and reliable. There is a fair amount of turnover among the housekeepers because some of them move on to other jobs and stuffs like that. But, they seem to be pretty well trained when we get someone new. We've had a couple of people that we were unhappy with. Then, we spoke to them and they just said "fine, we won't have that person come to your house again. We'll send someone different." and they apologized. We've had a good relationship with the company through a variety of people they sent out over 25 years.
Description of Work: We have been using Rose Petal House Cleaning for 25 years. They come out here every other week.

+ -1 moreWe are so happy with their service. They do a great job. He has a small house and she keeps it very nice and tidy. She cleans the whole house, she changes the sheets on the bed. She washes the sheets. She moves the furniture if it needs to be and she vacuums. She cleans off the porch. She cleans on the top of the refrigerator. We are really really happy with them.

+ -1 moreTwo employees came and cleaned while I was at work. I left them a list of what I wanted done, to be sure we got our $250 worth. I came home to discover clean floors, a clean stove and bathroom- but that's it. They disregarded more than half of the items on my list, ignoring the baseboards, walls, light fixtures, windowsills, and closets- and those were the areas needing the most attention! I understand that they only want to do the jobs and quot;typical housewivesand quot; would do- but wouldn't that include wiping off the baseboards and vacuuming out closets?? And I still don't understand why we paid $250 for what amounted to a basic routine clean. I would also like to mention that the cleaning lady assigned to us called the night before the job was scheduled- at 11 pm, which struck me as very unprofessional- to confirm the appointment.
Description of Work: My husband and I had just moved into our first home, and though the house was left fairly clean by the previous tenants, we wanted someone to do a thorough job of cleaning things like windowsills, baseboards, floors, bathroom, light fixtures, etc. I should point out that my house was at the time almost completely empty- we had just moved in, had very little stuff, and most of it was still in boxes. When I explained this to the woman who answered the phone, she insisted that what we needed was a "move-out clean," which is intended for people who are moving out and need their place cleaned. I didn't think this was quite right, since we didn't have a bunch of mess left over from moving out, but she insisted that this $250 service is what we needed- without seeing the house first. In retrospect, I should have in turn insisted that she look at the house before quoting us, but I was in a hurry as I wanted the house cleaned before we unpacked our stuff.

+ -1 moreA manager from the company showed up about a half hour into the cleaning process, looked around and told me that the company could not do the work for me as there was too much stuff in the way for them to follow their standard procedures and they did not want to do what I needed done without following the list. She said she would not charge me but she was going to take the worker with her and they both left. This company might be OK if you already have a clean and clutter free home and need maintanence only but if you need a house cleaner or someone who is willing to meet your individual needs try someone else. And for God's sake do not deviate from their list.
Description of Work: I was expecting someone to come into my home and help me clean my house and to help me do the things I could not do with my current limited physical ability. The lady came late and appeared to not know ;how to help me with my needs. Instead she was supposed to follow a list set be the company which meets the needs of someone who already has a clean house and just needs it maintained.
