+ -1 moreWas going to have air put in but but Greg told us it be better to try the solar fans since we needed a cold air return upstairs but we had no room to put it.
Description of Work: Never show up to install two solar fans on roof. Beleive they are no longer doing in business. Won't answer calls and the site is down.

+ -1 moreThe person never showed up or called on the agreed upon date. I called the office and spoke to Donna who apologized; she was to get in contact with the person who was scheduled to give the estimate and get back to me. She never got back to me which is very unprofessional. Needless to say this is not the type of company I would have do any work at my house.
Description of Work: I called the company and set up an appointment for their representative to come to our house to provide and estimate for installing radiant heat.

+ -1 moreThe technican arrived on time. He was polite and professional. He went through a complete checklist on the furnace and made adjustments were necessary. He left the paperwork documenting this. He put a sticker on the furnace and replaced the filters. I would use them again.

+ -1 moreI own rental property and got Chip's name from a Real Estate friend. Chip has replaced several gas furnaces at one of my duplexes. He also does annual maintenance on the rental property. Chip knows heating and cooling inside out. He installs in new homes as well as existing homes. He is very good at explaining the good and bad about your system. After he fixed the heat pump he enlighten me to details in the operation of my thermostat that I was clueless about. I didn't know that when the weather was such that the compressor could no longer extract heat from the outside air, I could move a switch on the thermostat to shut-off the compressor. This would reduce energy consumption and wear and tear of the compressor. The heat pump in my house is starting to get long in the tooth. When the time comes to replace it, Chip will be the guy to do it.
Description of Work: My wife alerted me to the fact that our electric bills for the past two-month were half again higher then last year. In November the power box for the heat pump compressor had to be disconnected to allow installation of new siding. The high heat bill made me suspect that the heat pump was not functioning properly. I called in Chip Higgins. Despite a long hectic day, he arrived around 7:30 pm with his miner s light on and went right to work checking out the system in the dark, cold rain. He found that the circuit board was shot. He put things back to allow heat from the alternate until he could get a replacement board ordered and installed. He returned two days later at around 7 pm after another long hectic day. He replaced the old circuit board and verified that all was well. I mentioned to him that the electronic filter was making snapping like static arcing. He made adjustments to the filter rails and the snapping stopped.
