Carpet installers were here until midnight as they said they got paid by the job and had to finish...inconvnient. Also we felt we were sold a carpet pile type which is not appropriate for the wear and tear of our home. Now with follow up issues, we called and they appear to be out of business. Both numbers are disconnected. Installers were very pleasant and hard working. We ended up feeding them dinnere because they had not planned on being here so long.
Description of Work: Carpet was removed and installed throughout our upstairs and downstairs.

Overall experience was positive. Employees were knowledgeable of the products and very helpful. There was one negative. There were quite a few scheduling conflicts, despite the fact that we scheduled installation a month in advance. It took an extra week for everything to be installed because installers were double-booked or one installer (laminate) had to wait on another (tile) to arrive before the job could be completed. Part of the issue was beyond their control- waiting on ordered materials to arrive. However, there seemed to be internal communication problems, with different people providing us with different information regarding the installation schedule. This was a hassle because we had taken time off work so that someone could be at the house to let the installers in. The installation itself was done professionally, and the installers returned promptly when notified that a section of the kitchen had been missed when baseboards were installed.
Description of Work: Carpet installation, laminate flooring installation, tile installation (fireplace hearth), and baseboard installation.

Though the work was eventually completed (they had to come back a week later to replace the wrong color carpet...arrived with the SAME color...finally discovered it was a mislabeled roll from the distributor), the entire project was laden with headache after headache.
Description of Work: New home purchase in which ALL floor coverings needed replacement. Couldn't move in until floors were done! Began shopping process 1 month in advance, explaining to the salesperson what I would need done in what time frame. 1 week before closing, I went to finalize order, salesman was surprised that I needed the work done "so quickly". They "scrambled" to get me a crew with a start date IN WRITING. The crew never showed on the agreed date, though I was assured this would not push back my COMPLETION date. Next day crews showed up to install carpet & sheet goods. Invoices matched, but wrong color carpet installed. Had to bring scrap to showroom to prove it was wrong. Next day, laminate installer. After brief survey, informed me unable to put laminate over existing floor, a fact that their measure overlooked. Required crew to do tear out of sub floor before putting down new floor. Crew finally finished around 8pm, but on the agreed upon day!

Sales people were helpful as were some of the office staff Management does not respond to phone calls, letters or faxes until we threatened them with the AG office and reversed a charge. I could not count the hours I spent on the phone trying to get this resolved or leaving work to meet someone at the house to inspect. The crew that installed the floors left a mess, didn't show up when they said they would, didn't finish the job and never told the office that the job was not completed. I would suggest you go somewhere else.
Description of Work: We had Trinity install wool berber carpet and bamboo floors. The sales people were fine, the installers were the pits The carpet they installed was defective and not installed correctly. It was not possible to communicate the issues with the installers as neither of them spoke English. It took three months, 3 inspectors and uncounted phone calls and hours (they do not return calls) before getting new carpet installed. That was only after we complained to the Sr VP. We have the same hassles ongoing with our floors. Poor installation, never finished the job, not showing up. Supposedly they will be reinstalling the floors (after 4 months of haggling). I would never do business with them again. Poor customer service once they have your money and as you have to pay 50 before they order and the balance before they will schedule you are stuck. Luckily we had it on a CC and reversed 1/2 of the amount charged during the complaint.

INSTALLERS DID NOT SHOW UP WHEN SCHEDULED, WHEN THEY DID, THEY OFTEN LEFT WORK WHEN IT WAS UNFINISHED TO CONTINUE WEEKS LATER AS THEIR TIME ALLOWED, DELAYING OUR PROJECT BY SEVERAL WEEKS. CARPET NEEDED TO BE REINSTALLED UPSTAIRS, TILE WAS NOT LAID AS DESIGNED BY SALESMAN, AND CUSTOMER. WOOD FLOORING WAS THE WORST, INSTALLED WITH CRACKS IN THE BOARDS, SLOPPY JOB. THEY DID SEND REPAIR CREW OUT THAT REPAIRED HALF OF THE WOOD FLOORING PROBLEMS, BUT LEFT WORST OF THE CRACKED BOARDS UN-REPAIRED. THEY REFUSED TO SEND SOMEONE OUT AS REQUESTED TO RE-INSPECT JOB OF THE REPAIR CREW, AND PORTIONS OF THE WOOD FLOORING IS STILL CRACKED, BOARDS ARE CRACKED IN THE MIDDLE, PLUS SPLINTERED ON THE EDGES WHERE THEY USED A DULL SAW BLADE.

IT WAS GOOD. I THOUGHT THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THE PRICE WAS GOOD. IT WAS KIND OF HARD TO COMMUNICATE WITH BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL SPANISH SPEAKING, BUT THE CARPET LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. THE INSTALLATION WAS AMAZING.

WORKERS WERE ON TIME AND COURTEOUS. DID A GOOD JOB ON INSTALLING CARPET. THEY DID MEASURE WRONG AND HAD ONE TOO MANY SEAMS. THEY ADMITTED THAT IT SHOULDN'T BE THAT WAY, BUT STILL INSTALLED. WE COMPLAINED AND THEY HAD SOMEONE COME OUT AND INSPECT PROMPTLY BUT HE SAID THAT IT WAS OKAY.

THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE GOING INTO THE TRANSACTION, BUT THE WRONG CARPET WAS ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN ONE ROOM, WALLS WERE SCUFFED AND THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT WAS LESS THAN REPRESENTED.
Description of Work: TRINITY CARPETS SOLD ME THE CARPETS FOR OUR HOME AND DID THE INSTALLATION OF THE CARPETS.
