Description of Work: It was necessary to obtain a permit to install a new fan and the cost of the permit was more than a third of the cost of the entire project.

Description of Work: The Square I Electric employee came and worked on some of the electrical works and his job was very professional. If I need some electrical work to be fixed in the future, I definitely use Square I Electric again. The reason that I did not need the new fan is that it is unnecessary expense to incur at this time since the current fans are working well. Thank you.

Description of Work: Somehow Square 1 offered services for a plumbing company. The plumbing company either went out of business or ended its relationship with Square 1. Square 1 immediately notified me and took care of a full refund with no problem. They were very efficient and helpful.

Description of Work: I called them and they said they had an opening the next day. Came out and replaced a light fixture and a light switch. Was very prompt and courteous and did the job for the estimated price. Would use them again.

Description of Work: The electrician added four new outlets. One in the house and three in the garage. He added 30 minutes travel time to the bill which we were not expecting. His hourly rate was $95 plus materials. He called and asked if he could come earlier than the designated time and we accommodated him. He vacuumed the areas where he worked before leaving. He was courteous and professional.

Description of Work: We wanted an outlet on the ceiling of our porch. We initially purchased an Angies deal for the installation of the outdoor outlet, but came to realize that it was a much more complex job that the original deal was meant to cover. The electrician was thorough in hearing our desires, and in communicating what he would be able to do. He was able to run a line from side of the house, under the deck platform and up one of the exterior columns of the porch. He placed switches to turn the outlets on and actually placed one outlet on either side of the porch center post. He was prompt, courteous, cleaned up his mess and did a great job!

Description of Work: This was a Big Deal with 2 hours of plumbing for $99. The company is called Square One Electric and Plumbing, so I was confused everytime I tried to find the company who did plumbing to see it was called Electric which is how you list it. I had a bad drain from the washing machine and a leaky kitchen faucet. They were both fixed in less than an hour and I couldn't come up with more stuff for him to do until after he left. He had to deal with a faucet with a rusted solid part, but could fix the actual leak with out having to undo the rusted part. I'd gotten a kit to fix it, so didn't have to pay him for parts. The drain was in an awkward place and involved holding a heavy electric snake up high. He solved the problem and had to use a lot of muscle to do it. I was very pleased with the results. I shall have more options in mind in the future to get my full 2 hours worth.

Description of Work: This was some time ago and I don't remember much about it but it went well.

Description of Work: I tried to replace a toilet supply valve but couldn't remove the old one without fear of breaking or ruining the pipes in the wall. Soon after, I received an email from Angie's List offering 2 hrs. of plumbing for $99. I jumped on it and was able to get scheduled on a day when I also had an electrical inspection and furnace checkup scheduled; so i only had to take one day off work. He quickly and easily replaced the supply valve and asked if there was anything else I wanted done since there was a lot of time remaining. I had him replace a tub drain which had a faulty plug system. There was still time remaining so I showed him the plumbing under our kitchen sink following a recent remodel. He stated that it looked like a DIY project even though we had paid someone to do it. He was able to redo it thereby eliminating a lot of excess piping and freeing up more space under our sink. Unlike others who have worked on our house, he was professional, polite, and clean. I would definitely call him back again.

Description of Work: I had originally purchased the 2 hours of pluming for $99 to have a new outside hose bib installed and a new bathroom faucet installed. I already had purchased both items. I ended up calling him because suddenly the kitchen faucet stopped working. My son had installed a new garbage disposl several days prior and.I had been trying to turn the water on to the nearby outside water bib. As a result, I ended up with no water coming into the kitchen sink. He assessed the problem and found that the original house plumbing had reversed hot and cold lines, and turned the water on to the sink and outside hose bib. Since there was time left, he also installed the new outside faucet hose bib (the old one leaked and I knew it had to be replaced) and installed a new water faucet in my bathroom. He also made a trip to the local plumbing store for parts necessary and didn't charge for the extra trip. I [aid less than $20 for the parts and he thoroughly explained and showed me why the parts were necessary.

Description of Work: We had them replace our old garbage disposal and snake out a few drains. Everything went exactly as planned. No surprises. We would recommend them to others and will use them again if needed.
