the electrician was very nice and knowledgeable about his trade. he gave me some good advice and did the best that he could with what he had to work with (my electrical wiring in this house is all messed up!). he went out of his way to let me know at all times what he had found and how he intended to fix it. he gave me a detailed briefing at the end of the job as to all the steps he had taken to alleviate my electrical problems. nice guy as well.

Very nice gentleman at Square One performed numerous electrical tasks, to update my home. Square One did a great job!

Ordered wrong coupon for replacement of ceiling fan, rather than installation of ceiling fan. Discussed with vendor. Will wait to do work. Please refund 99$ payment. I am very pleased with the time and attention I got from Square1electric. I plan to use them in the future.

Ray found the problem was with the light fixture and replaced it. Since I was busy he even went to Home Depot and bought the light. Cost was the 1 hour plus the price of the light minus the $25 discount from Angie's list.

Ray was very knowledgeable, did not complain about being in the nasty attic and worked at a good pace with purpose. I will recommend him to all my friends and clients. The girl that booked the appointment was very good. Knew enough about her business to book the right talent for the job. Square 1 was real pleasure to work with.

We ended up getting a refund, but they were nice and professional to talk to.

They could not install our fan as planned.

We were informed by the electric company that we had to replace one of our meter boxes (at our expense). We had used Square 1 before (they put in an in-wall heater a few years back) and they were great. From the call center/appointment scheduler to the electrician they sent out, it was a good experience. We did call around to get some quotes but Square 1 was in the same ballpark and since we had used them before, we stuck with them. They came out, did the work at the time they said they were going to and didn't make a mess. And they didn't try to charge us any more for what they were doing or "find" anything else that needed to be fixed.

He arrived on time and kept me updated through the process. He prepped the ceiling area for the installation then installed it. He was friendly and professional and when he was done he showed me how it worked. He also repainted the area. I am very happy with his high level of knowledge about the fan and professionalism. I would highly recommend Square 1 Electric.

I had been looking for a electrical company to rewire my home for months and months and finally found one that was honest, was priced right and did not talk to me like I was a stupid. Kurt the owner was great. He spent a lot of time walking through the house with me and explaining exactly how it was going to go. He listened to all of my concerns. , Along the way,there were a few small problems, but Kurt the owner was always available by phone or in person to get things straightened out. The guys that did the work were wonderful!! They all very nice and polite They always answered my questions. They did a great job.

The installation of the light post went smoothly from the initial contact to the completion of the work. I contacted two other electrical contractors. One of them was excellent but the price was higher than I anticipated and the suggested placement of the light post was in a less preferable location. The second contractor was receptive at first but then did not follow-up with return phone calls. The contact person kept reassuring me that the electrician would return my calls so I kept patiently waiting calling back several times. After several weeks I decided not to use this company which was Badger Electric. I had used them before so this was a disappointment. Square One was responsive from the beginning contact phone call. The contact person, Holly, was very responsive and returned calls promptly. Her follow-through was excellent. The electrical work was completed in a timely manner and all follow up work was completed promptly which included the city inspection and the refilling of the trench and clean up of the area.

Worker was meticulous in performing his work, completing it in less than one hour. I was very satisfied. He was very courteous and answered all my questions.

Ray did an excellent job and was very professional. He was able to complete the job in about an hour and cleaned up after himself. He was very friendly and I felt comfortable having him in my home. I would not hesitate in calling Square 1 Electric again in the future.

Ray made the job look easy and yet it was installing a chandelier from 12 foot up. It looked like a tough job to me but he was fast and very professional. I recommend Square 1 to any one who needs great work at a fair price.

I had bought a Big Deal coupon for Replacement Installation of Ceiling Fan or Light Fixture (Labor ONLY) for $99 but I wanted to replace a light fixture with a ceiling fan so I ended up not being able to us it. Holly contacted me and explained that the deal is for replacing a ceiling fan with another ceiling fan or a light fixture with another light fixture. Holly did a great job explaining to me what is involved with replacing a light fixture with a ceiling fan.

Ray was great! Explained everything he was doing and was informative about the process. He also gave us some advice on our order of operations as we're building a new entryway to the kitchen. He roughed in all of the electrical and capped it all off, letting us know that the finished project would look best if he finished everything off once we were done sheet-rocking and painting. He also noticed that the thermostat needed to move to the other side of the wall since we moved a heat duct fairly close, which would throw off our heating. These are things I didn't expect help with, but am so glad that Ray pointed out. Definitely made the overall project better, and he went above and beyond our expectations! When the inspector heard that Square1 was doing the work, he basically gave it a quick once-over and then took off, giving it his stamp of approval. Looked like he was familiar with the quality of their work and trusted them too!

I purchased the bid deal coupon for this service and it went fine. It was very good. They were actually knowledgeable and polite. The guy was tidy as well. I can’t remember if I got them right away or if I had to wait. Their responsiveness was very good.

It was good. There were a couple of issues where they had to come out. But they had no problem coming out and looking at our issues. They ended up not charging extra for that. They looked at our paneling and suggested what to upgrade and what not to upgrade. So that was good.

They called right away to discuss my project and told me it wasn't covered and I could easily get a refund, which I did. They were very nice about it. I've used them in the past and have been very satisfied.

It went just fine and everything looks good. They had to do some extra work. He had trouble getting here the first morning, but he did call ahead of time and said he would be here at 10 minutes late. I would use them again in the future.

I felt completely ripped off by the $200 charge to replace an outlet. They were rated all "A"s on Angie's List. I don't know who thinks that $200 is a good deal on an outlet but I sure don't. That's too much. You and I could repair it ourselves over the weekend. The guy charged me $200, he was here for less than 15 minutes. He did not check any of the other circuits in the house. He did not do anything. He changed it and he left. Part of the $200 was a $30 permit. The permit was not actually required as I later found out. I was charged for a permit that was not needed. Other than that, everything was great. The guy was great, showed up on time, did his job. Gouged me.

For various reasons, this job took a while to set up and complete. Everybody was patient and professional, and they ended up doing a good job. Would definitely use them again.

They were able to diagnose and repair the light. They did a great job! I will be hiring him again to do more work because they were just excellent.

While I was out buying supplies the electrician decided the dishwasher wasn't wired properly and pulled it out, put in a new outlet, put it back in. He spent a lot of time on something I didn't authorize and did not put the hoses back properly. If I had run the dishwasher that night I would have flooded the wall. As it was my sink drained into the cabinet and kitchen floor. Also, I cannot close the dw door without pushing on a piece of the cabinet frame which he dislodged when he pulled it out. The company offered to send the same man out to fix it but we didn't want the same person. We had lost confidence in his work. They were very nice people and this probably was an aberration, but some of the work I wanted done did not get finished.
