Description of Work: This was an Angie's List special - $&9 for a so called 16 point check -up for the furnace. The first technician was incredibly disorganized - tool a huge mess and he could not find things. Told me when I asked about the 16 points that there are really not that many. He cleaned up a few things, and left. I felt I'd been kind of tricked. Seemed unprofessional. The furnace then would not start. I called again. A second, different guy came and re- attached a wire that had not been connected by the first man. This man was organized and professional and did more checks on the furnace, and further cleaning. All in all I would not do one of these 16 point or however many point check-ups again. I'll just call my regular company and get a seasonal tune-up.

Description of Work: I used the coupon from Angie's list, I was happy with the inspection. There was nothing found in my system that needed work done, so it was more peace of mind knowing the system was OK. The tech was friendly, did the inspection and gave me the report.

Description of Work: The technician came out, reviewed a 20 point list of inspection items to make sure my furnace was in proper shape to run for the winter. They scheduling was easy, and the tech arrived on time.

Description of Work: We hand't had any maintenance work done on our A/C in years. We noticed that as the weather warmed, the A/C unit ran around the clock and, on hot days, inside temps went higher than where we set it. I expected serious repair needs and expense. I had purchased this service from one of Angie's low-cost specials, but I even put off calling for the service work. But they called me and said they'd like to set up a time to come out. Within 2 hours the service man was working on our unit, explaining along the way everything he was finding. He cleaned the filter and everything else that needed, checked the specs to make sure they were up to standard, and did all of the servicing you might expect. It was a hot, hot day and he had some problems getting the unit open, but he stuck with it. Basically everything was fine when he was finished, and we noticed immediate improvement in the air temp inside, and the unit stopped running 24/7, which I'm sure will cut down on our bills. He said we didn't need any parts, but he did give us some options on how to change the cover so we could reach the filter easier.

Description of Work: I initially bought a coupon deal on angie's list to have a tuneup of my furnace. My furnace stopped working the day before they arrived to do the work. A partial tuneup was completed and a part ordered. That was in October. Furnace stopped working again in January so I called them back. They gave me an Angie's List discount on the service call and ordered another part. The total spent was $542.30 not including what I had paid for the tune-up. I found them responsive and willing to work with me on the cost of the second repair as I felt the problem should have been discovered the first time they came. I would hire them again and think they earned an A- or B+ rating.

Description of Work: Called before 8am with a problem of water leaking from an A/C unit in attic that was flowing to onto sheet rock that was the ceiling of one of the bedrooms. Curt called a couple of hours later and scheduled a service call for the same day. He called twice more as the tech had been delayed on an earlier call. Frank did the work and was on time and very helpful in explaining the several items that lead to the problem we were having. He fixed all three for a parts charge $78 freon and them looked at a second A/C unit with a noisy start and added pads under the feet. He also noticed the fuses were the wrong ones and replaced with the correct ones. All in all one of the best experiences we have have with a service organization. Would highly recommend!

I am now another satisfied customer and Service Now will be my vendor of choice for future heating/air conditioning needs. Another positive is that they were not pushy about trying to fix or sell me something I didn't need. The technician, Frank, was very good at explaining things to me as he worked. I was even able to take advantage of their Big Deal coupon for a reduced rate for tuning up my furnace.

Description of Work: We had recently purchased our house and it was very unevenly heated; the living room and one bedroom was too warm and the kitchen and other rooms too cold. There is a programmable thermostat. The serviceman cleaned the indoor coil with a wire brush and reset the gas pressure which was too high and checked out the system which has done better since servicing done. I had other service co. check system but they charged fat fee with no fix. Service Now seems to know their business. I will have them back if have future problems.
