Competitive price, would have charged less, if he could have solved problem w/o replacing entire pump. Even told me how to do it myself, if I wanted to avoid a service call.

They were very reasonable. They honored an Angie's List discount.

They were very good. The contractors were professional and very nice. The project was a little more difficult than originally planned (the furnace is in a whole in the crawl space - accessed by a small trap door in the closet). When they realized this, an extra person was called in to help. The installation ended up taking 2 days instead of the 1 they had planned on. On the 2nd day, they were a little later than they had said they would be, but a representative did call and let me know. I was not left to sit there and wonder what was going on. They arranged it so that I could go to work, having someone there to watch the house after the electrician had finished and the before installers returned to finish up. The old furnace was hauled away, and the area was left as clean as when they started. The technician walked me through the basic operation, how to reset it, and even showed me how to measure the amt. oil in my tank! I will definitely be calling them in the future.

On time, suggested ways to help me reduce costs, explained what he was doing and why, worked quickly and efficiently.

Everything from the first estimate to the actual install was smooth. I had to change install dates a few time because of new construction, but there was never a problem. They were always very polite and professional.

Service Now scheduled me a tune up w/i 2 business days. Jerry, the technician was on time, pleasant, and knowledgeable. I noticed that A-temp had a coupon special for $79 tune up, but I still decided to go with Service Now heating, which charges $116.10 for a tune up after the 10% Angie's list discount coupon. My one previous experience with A-Temp Heating did not leave a positive impression on the quality of their work. Overall, I felt I had made the right decision to go with Service Now.

I was surprised and pleased to get an appointment the same day of my initial call for service. The technician arrived on time and upon completion of the work the final cost was the same as what was quoted over the phone. A second technician was sent to our home the next day to confirm a needed repair to our a/c compressor, at no additional cost. Research was completed by Service Now, to confirm the warranty status and cost of the compressor replacement. All aspects of the contact were professional.

I asked Service Now to come and bid on a job to replace a gas furnace and add an air conditioner. As one of a number of vendors, their bid was a bit higher for the work. I gave a ring back, and they did their best to match the low quote (given that the same equipment was being proposed between vendors). Apart from the price and equipment, I found the rep. from Service Now to be thorough, friendly, and interested in what we wanted and didn't seem to be using a cookie cutter approach to our needs. I will follow up with more if/when we move forward in getting the work done. The other vendors were more ''flash'' in their bid (color folder, DVD on their business, etc.), which gave me a car-salesman impression. Service Now's approach seemed more personal.

Showed up on time, performed the work as quoted. No issues. Very responsive. Even tried to arrive earlier in the day (my schedule could not support)

We dealt with several people at Service Now during the project and from start to finish, they were first rate. Eddie Weatherly did the initial proposal work. He was prompt, courteous, and took the time to explain the options we had within the Carrier brand lines they represent. The technician, Tom, was on time, courteous, very careful with our new floor, and even allowed my journey-man 11 year old son to shadow him throughout his time here. The service technician, Jerry was prompt and courteous in getting the unit operational after a slight start-up issue upon installation. Lacy in the office was courteous with any inquiries I had and she even submitted the manufacturer rebate stuff to Carrier on our behalf. To top it off, Service Now honored their initial quotation even after Carrier changed one of the rebate programs to a lesser amount. This company was clean, courteous, and while this was a new install, I am confident that they will be just a reliable for service (think winter).

We were pleased with the service provided during the quoting process. On the day of the installation, everyone arrived on time and completely informed us of what work would be completed. We were initially told the job would take 2 days to complete, but they were able to complete in one day. AC unit was damaged in shippment (facial only - not to the functioning portion) and we were informed we would receive a refund for the damage (have yet to see it). Unit works very well and is much quieter then the old, original unit. A post was installed in the garage floor to protect the furance from impact, but the post has since come loose and requires repair. Also, a lot of metal screws were dropped in the driveway and we had 3 cars experience flats tires (ours and visitors). We informed the company of these issues, but no real concern was expressed. All in all, the unit works, but clean up and care with install and follow up could have been better.

Service Now's ''oil furnace'' specialist came right out (20 minutes after my call) and fixed the motor on our furnace. The same furnace that one other company had told me was a ''total loss'' and needed to be replaced (which they had a convenient bid ready for). Two other companies bid on the furnace, but admittedly didn't take it apart to confirm it was unrepairable. Jerry came out, knew the products, knew the fix, had the parts, and saved us thousands of dollars. Thank you!

When I called to get an estimate, they set up an appt. within the same week (Friday). Eddie was the salesperson that came out to do the quote. He honestly answered my questions and didn't try to sell me the more expensive unit (or a heating pump), as I was trying to figure out if I wanted to buy the more expensive Carrier unit or the more affordable Coleman. After getting a second quote, I thought about it over the weekend and decided to go with Service Now. By this time, it was Monday night, and my hopes of getting it installed quickly were dwindling. He called me first thing on Tuesday morning and told me it could be done that very same day! I wasn't at home for the installation, but my father told me they were very hard workers in the hot, hot heat. Overall, I am happy with the job done. I even had a service technician, Jerry, come out to check the noise. (Due to a cranky neighbor, but the noise is definitely within normal limits). He was also very friendly and helpful.

The service guy was friendly and chatty, gave his honest opinions about Trane and other brands of furnances, and explained everything he was doing. Service Now is not a Trane licensed dealer but I had a good experience before and now, so I'll probably keep using them instead of A-Temp (who installed the original system) who did not return my calls.

Brian was on time, knows what he's doing and finished the job very quickly.

I called Service Now on a Saturday morning, the hottest of the summer, to see if they could repair it that day. Within 2 hours the repair guy called and he was at my house 30 minutes later. Found the problem and replaced a broken part quickly. Very polite, showed me the broken part, and explained what he did. I had to pay an overtime rate due to it being a weekend, which doubled the cost. That was the only disappointing thing.

I called to have someone come out and look at our air conditioner, they sent a tech the same day. Brian the tech checked things over, and let me know that we didn't have an air conditioner. Much to my surprise, having just moved into the area a month ago from California, I thought that all homes had them. He was very professional and gave me some quotes on new units. We decided to go ahead and have one installed, although we were not able to get the work done til after the heatwave weekend. Derek arrived a little late, but that was no problem. He was very friendly and polite and let us know everything that he needed to do. He had another tech named Billy come and help him for a little bit and he was also very personable. Once the job was done Derek showed me the unit and answered any questions that I had. The work areas were left clean and tidy, and the techs did an awesome job. I would have no problem recommending them to my friends and neighbors.

Very impressed by how professional and courteous they were. They cheerfully set up a convenient appointment to receive our free estimate and then the representative called to confirm and let me know he was running a little late, which was no problem. He was very thorough and seemed to know his business. He explained everything to me and promptly got us a written estimate that sounded reasonable. Now we just have to decide whether to take the plunge and get the air conditioning.

Setting up the appt was great, the morning of the appt. I rec'd a phone call telling me that the tech was on his way. Brian arrived within the window given and was very quick and friendly. Overall a great experience! I appreciated the Angie list discount

After I called Kurt and described the problem, a technician came out the second day to take a look. I paid a minimum service charge of $40, which I thought was very reasonable. Kurt gave me an accurate estimate and scheduled an appointment for installation. The same technician came out, on time, and did the work, made sure it worked, and cleaned up. I'm completely satisfied. I had called another company for this job. They gave me a quote for thousands and tried to convince me to replace the whole system, even though I made it clear to them that I rarely used AC and just wanted to get it repaired for those rare occasions. Compared to that other company, I am especially satisfied with Service Now.

This was the hottest June weekend in Oregon history. My ac unit went out on Friday evening. It was over 90 degrees in my house the whole weekend. I called around on Saturday and got some prices for a new unit, installed and found one vendor who could do the work within one week. But I really wanted the work done within a day or two (ha ha! I know!). I found "Service Now" on Angie's List and called them Monday morning. They made some schedule adjustments and were at my house in 1 hour, staying until the unit was up and running several hours later. I was surprised at how much work was involved. Their bid was very competitive and I was blown away by their professionalism. I would recommend them highly. They even shaved a little $ off their estimate by the time I got their invoice. Extremely fair deal. Be sure and call them for a bid.
