I woke up on New Year's day to a cold house. I found Service Now on Angie's List and called. The answering service told me that a technician would call back within an hour and if he didn't to call her back. 15 minutes later I was talking to Jerry. He first told me the cost of a service call on New Year's then he said he would be out as soon as he could but he was going to be really busy. Within 2 hours he was at my house and in 15 minutes I had heat. He asked me how I got their company and I told him Angie's List. He took 10% off the bill. He also educated me about the furnace and the mainainence it needed.

I woke up this morning to a very cold house and realized that my furnace was not working. I called Service Now Heating and Cooling, Inc. at 8:00 a.m. and talked with a really nice guy by the name of Kurt and he said that since I was an Angie's List Customer I could use the 16-Point Gas Furnace Tune-Up for $74.50. If there was a part that was needed, then that would be extra. Kurt also said that he could send a technician out between 9:00-10:00 a.m. which was wonderful since my house was pretty chilly. Jerry the technician came out on time and did the maintenance and I now have heat. Jerry also recommended that I replace my furnace blower in the near future so I'm not sitting in the cold/heat. I will definitely use them in the future.

The furnace was running but not blowing out any air, so I called Service Now and talked to Curt, who told me, "I don't want to charge you a service call if it's something simple." So he told me to check the air filters and get back to him, which I did. I really appreciated that he was considerate about not charging me for a minor problem I might fix myself. Turned out not to be the filters, so I scheduled a service call. The technician, Jerry, was punctual and familiar with the model of furnace I have, so he was able to tell me almost immediately that the Blower Motor was the problem. When I gave him the go-ahead, he got on the phone and ordered a new motor and told me the office would call when it was in to set up an installation date. Jerry told me that in the meantime, I could run the furnace for heat even though the blower wasn't working. A few days later I set up the installation appointment with Curt and Jerry came out again to do the install. It took him about 30 minutes and he answered all my questions. I always learn a lot when Jerry works here, as he tells me how the machines actually work!

Came out right before the long Thanksgiving weekend, when our furnance stopped working and the house was cold during the freezing weather. The boss himself came out in 20 minutes after I called. He figured out the problem which turned out to be the thermostat, then one of his service people came by in between two other service calls to replace it. They said they only charged us for the cost of the thermostat which seemed high, but the $90 ones that we got at Home Depot have broken down twice so you get what you pay for. They fixed it promptly and saved us from dealing with frozen pipes when we came back from visiting our relatives out of state. Would use again!

The technician arrived on time, was very knowledgeable and efficient and did a good job on the furnace tune-up.

Service Now (Kurt) was able to get a repairman (Frank) to our house the day we called. The initial repair was made the day following the service call. We had a part replaced, and the system worked well for a day or so. We called back and a different repairman (Jerry) came that day. He couldn't find anything in particular wrong but tightened up some loose wire connections. We began having problems again the next day. Jerry was sent over again to replace the part because it may have been defective. We woke up the next morning with our thermostat set at 68 and reading 60 degrees (bbbuuurrrr!). By this time we were getting a little frustrated and worried about colder weather in the forecast. When I called again, Kurt seemed genuinely concerned and determined to get us some reliable heat. He, Frank and Jerry put their heads together to solve our problem. Jerry came to replace a different part around 5pm that rainy Friday evening. We haven't had any more problems since! Both repairs were approximately the same cost, but we were only charged for the initial service call and repair, which we thought was fair. We appreciated their persistence and professionalism throughout this process.

Gave them a C since I had prior contacts and they responded quick. the staff is friendly and professional and they are reasonably priced but can't recommend them anymore.

Called to inquire on price for heatpump/furnace service - information clear and concise - gave 10% discount and all was good with initial contact. Set up a date and time for the work - 2 days later. An 8:00-8:30 window of arrival - however at 8:45 no one had arrived yet and no calls. I called the office and they said I should see someone very soon- they were on their way and within 5 minutes he arrived, apologized for being late and then began the work. All was completed, I was educated on my particular heat system and all went well with the billing and payment. No attempts at selling me anything I didn't need or want and I would definitely use this company again.

I can't give them enough praise. Jason, Kirk, Amy were all so helpful and took care of the burden of all the paperwork so I can get all the rebates due. The 2 men that installed the systems were amazing. This was a huge project, you wouldn't know that looking at the price, but it was very labor intensive. Kelly was the foreman on the job and he would put in, several times on this project, 12 hour days. Seriously, I've never had a better experience with folks in my home and I've met some great contractors over the past 5 years of remodeling. Everyday it was clean. I work from home so the guys would let me know what to expect on the few days that there was too be a great deal of noise in the attic. It's beautiful up there and I know the guys took pride in making it just right for me and my husband. I'd recommend anyone who wants a true value and great group of people to work with on your HVAC system to always call Service Now first.

Frank came out on Monday to give my furnace a look over. He was dubious almost immediately as my furnace was over 30 years old and they are not supposed to last that long. After having a look inside he had to condemn the thing. It just wasn't safe and it was cracked and back-drafting on it's self. I was shocked because had Angie's List not advertised their "Big Deal" I may not have had the furnace even looked at this year. The Big Deal and Service Now may have saved my life. Frank disconnected everything and discussed replacing it. We did not want to hire them right away because we had not expected such a result from the inspection. After calling around to various other companies I found that the price they were quoting me to replace my unit was very similar to everyone else. Service Now Heating and Cooling was able to come out two days later to give me a replacement. I was so grateful I wouldn't have to freeze too long. Alex arrived on time Wednesday morning and promptly got to work. He was done in about six hours. Everything looks really tidy. He was confident in answering questions and without even prompting he showed me how the thing was supposed to work and where to put the filters. He's a very nice man. I had some questions about my contract after the service was performed and the office got back to me very quickly and explained everything. My only additional comment is that Frank seems a little eccentric (I mean this in the best possible way). He's clearly not a salesman, which helped me to trust him. He knows very much about furnaces and spent some time going over furnace and filter options. Next time I need the furnace inspected I will request him.

I chose this company because of the Big Deal being offered through Angie's List. Before the technician even looked at my 21-year old furnace, he let me know that I needed it replaced immediately. I had another man from another company for maintenance a few times a year, which I specifically asked him whether or not it needed replaced, and he told me no. When the technician from Duct Guys was leaving, he let me know that everything went smoothly, but I should still consider replacing my furnace. He told me it'd be $4,000 to replace it, but there'd be a $1500 rebate if I'd replace it by the end of the year. The tech that I used before quoted me a price of $2500. A plus about using this company was that they arrived on a Saturday, and the furnace check-up went fine. I'll probably use them again.

Everything was great. Tech arrived on time and was done in an hour. Very nice and very friendly service tech. got some great advice on ways to keep upstairs warmer, buying custom size filters and buying a new return grill.

Today's visit went well. A new spring door was installed and now it is easy to check my filter and change it. Plus, I now need only one filter rather than two!

I have had Frank from Service Now do the annual maintenace on my furnace for the last three years so I was really pleased when I found their Big Deal special offered through Angie's List. I called and requested Frank perform the service again this year. Each year I have been impressed with all aspects of their service--from the person on the other end of the line when making the appointment right on through the completed project. Frank arrived a few minutes early this morning, came into the house at my request to answer a question about a humming noise coming from the cold air vents. He looked at them and showed me the dust build-up and cat hair at the bottom of the returns suggesting the need to have them cleaned. Had this been an unknown technician I might have wondered if he was trying to sell me up, but past experience with Frank and Service Now led me to trust his recommendation. I will soon be scheduling that work. Frank completed the 16 point maintenance work promptly, giving me many good pointers on keeping my heating bill low. I have a mold allergy that often leads to bronchitis. Frank gave me a flyer with information about a new filtration system that can be added to my current set up which will make a substantial difference in the number of mold particles entering my home. It's an expensive proposition, but something I will look into in the future. I like the professionalism and respect shown by the people of Service Now and will use them annually as well as recommend them to friends.

I called Service Now after getting one of the Big Deals. I am glad I did. Frank showed up on time and showed me everything he was doing. I not only got a furnace tune-up but an education on furnaces. Thank you

The technician was knowledgeable, efficient and explained what he was doing. I learned more about my 16 year old gas furnace in the one hour he was here than I did when I had it serviced by other (unnamed) companies. Excellent job and I will have them back next year for both my furnace and AC.

My appointment was scheduled right away and I was happy that I was able to get my appointment on a Saturday. They honored my "Big Deal" from Angies List. Frank called prior to arriving. He was on time and very efficient. My furnace is located under the house and Frank did not complain at all. He is always willing to answer questions and he is very informative. This is the 2nd time Frank has come to service my furnace and I am very happy with his work, attitude, and efficiency. I will continue to use this company in the future.

they were professional from start to finish. punctual for the estimate appointment, jason was respectful of my questions, took all the time needed, and explained everything - more than once - without dumbing it down. I especially appreciated that he wanted to keep his crews working and was willing to go an extra mile for them and for me. they made the paperwork so easy and fully explained the rebates and how to receive them. once the job started the crews were on time, polite and, again, very respectful. they did everything as planned and only deviated in order to do something even better or "extra". through out the process they kept in touch with me and continued to explain the process to me. they finished on time and cleaned up after each step of the process. then they continued to check up and make sure I was satisfied with the job, and continued to check up for another 3 months!! would I use them again? in a heart beat! would I recommend Service Now? absolutely! I received 3 bids from Angies list "A" rated companies and am so glad I chose Service Now. their bid was right in the ball park with the other two bids, however, their professional approach was stellar!

The technician not only did the service but showed me how to check various items myself and do some of the cleaning. Also recommended alternate ways to filter the air to improve the air quality in our home. Recommended duct cleaning which was long overdue as we recently moved into this house which is 20 years old and it was clear the ducts had never been cleaned. The heater in the home is a 2 stage heater but the thermostat did not support implementing the 2nd stage so the technician recommended we get a new thermostat and showed me how to wire everything to take advantage of the dual stage furnace.

Jason (the owner) was more than willing to help us come up with a solution that met our needs and unique situation. All his guys were friendly, helpful, and clean. They also helped sort out all the tax credits and rebates we were eligible for.

What a great company! They go above and beyond to give great service. I scheduled Service Now to come out and give us a furnace estimate after being blown off by one company (they came and then never sent an estimate) and being told by another company that there was no way they could install a 95 AFUE furnace in the small crawlspace of my midcentury house. Jason from Service Now drew a picture and explained exactly how the unit could be installed and said that they had done similar installations on similar era houses. He was not a pushy salesperson, and in fact he recommended going with a cheaper option than the one we chose. While Jason was there, an electrician was at the house doing some unrelated work. Jason checked to see if the electrician could do the furnace-related electrical work while he was there, just because it would have saved me money. (The electrician said he couldn't do the work--I won't be hiring that company again. More on that later.) Kelly, the furnace technician, was great. He had to dig out the crawlspace and reorient the entire furnace to fit it in, and he brought me down and showed me all the components so I would know how to maintain the furnace and troubleshoot it if need be. He also took a lot of time showing us how to program the thermostat and going over the warranty paperwork we would need. In addition, the company filled out all the rebate and tax credit paperwork for me. As the icing on the cake, Curt from Service Now just called me to schedule the city inspection on the furnace. He said he noticed there is another open permit on the house (work that the electrical company never closed the permit on) and offered to schedule the city to close that permit for us at the same time. That is truly above and beyond--definitely the kind of service this company provides. The quality of installation is really important with furnaces. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I was the central point of contact for a group of three condominium owners getting evaluating contractors and getting estimates for the installation of air conditioning for individual units. We had four local contractors do facility inspectons and evaluated the individual estimates. One of the companies (whom we ultimatley did not select) had something of an inside track as they had worked with the facility builder and had installed the heating and ventilation when the units were constructed. Ultimatley we selected "Service Now" based on their individualized estimate of the work to be performed in each of the units; we each ended up with a somewhat unique configurations and control systems. Each of the three units had air conditioner, cooling coil/condenser, and programmable thermostats installed. The staff bidding the estimates and installing the equipment were knowledgeable and professional during all phases of the operation. The installers were very cautious working in the interior of the condo units and did extremely well cleaning up after the installation. The install techs discovered a system leak in the plumbing installed by the builder. They were able to track down the problem in fairly short order and fix the leak with a minimum of disruption to the unit. The billing and payment was handled very professionally, even after discovering a billing error (in my favor) two days after the installation. They quickly acknowledged the error and promptly credited my card account. Overall they did a great job and I'll be using their services in the future.

Excellent. The owner met with us to review our needs, did a thorough walk-through of the installation area and all elements needed to install A/C. Project costs was handed to us before the end of the initial meeting as well as cost saving alternatives we could consider. We met with three companies and selected Service Now for 1) understanding and commitment to product/customers, 2) competitive price and initiative on finding cost savings and 3) professional follow-through. Service Now technicans promptly arrived for installation and completed the work in one day as scheduled.

We called a few companies for estimates on a new furnace and a/c install. Jason came by and gave a complete estimate with a few different price points depending on what we decided to go with. He gave great information and actually let us know that the less expensive option was probably the best way to go. His professionalism and attention to detail helped make our decision easy. We chose to go with the higher end furnace and base model a/c. We made the appointment and the installation of both was complete within a few days. The only issue that we have had is with the thermostat-a sensor was installed when it shouldn't have been. We called and they came right out to fix it. After the install, they sent information about tax credits to us in the mail. Great experience overall.
