It went mostly well. Service Now has serviced and repaired our furnace and A/C for several years and we knew that both were nearing the end of their lives. Service Now has always been very responsive to service requests, sending the repairman (usually Jerry) out quickly. They have been fair with charges for repairs. Because of our history with them we did not shop around for a new system. When the furnace stopped working in early December, Jerry appeared at 8 a.m. the next morning even though I know that they were backed up with repair orders. They were the same way with the installation. We had to wait a few weeks because their schedule was full, but once they started working they worked straight through until finished over two days right before Christmas. Kurt sent us a proposal with several options for the furnace and a description of the air conditioner recommended to go with the furnace. We chose the one we thought would be the most efficient for our 3 story house - not the cheapest nor most expensive model. The new furnace has worked well during an unusually cold winter and spring. It makes less noise than our old one but you can still hear it at times. We haven't really been able to test the air conditioner because of the weather. They had to do a lot of work that we didn't entirely expect for the installation: drill through the foundation for the vent to go out the side of the house because our old furnace vented through the chimney. This was really a dusty job. They also could not remove the old concrete slab as originally planned for the A/C so they put a new one over it and built it up. Service Now employees were hard-working, nice, polite and they cleaned up after themselves. They taught us tips about using the system, changing the filters, and about maintenance. An electrical subcontractor was used for some electrical work and he did not clean up after himself nor replace insulation material that he removed. Other than that and the concrete dust from drilling, things went very well. The whole job took about 1.5 days.

I'm updating my earlier review of this company, which was written in 2005 shortly after Angieslist appeared in Portland. At that time, I gave the company an overall rating of A, but mentioned a couple of problems. At this point I wish to clean the record of those problems, which have never recurred. Furthermore, when a new problem arose in the present repair, Service Now fixed it promptly, thoroughly, and was more than fair on the price. An A rating after a problem arises should be valued by homeowners even more than one given for a routine job. I have recommended Service Now in the past and can now do so even more confident that I'm doing other homeowners a favor.

Service now replaced our furnace with a high efficiency model that saved us a lot of money during this cold winter. They made sure to get us the best price, installation when smoothly and quickly, and they guided me through the rebate process for our taxes since we went with the more expensive high efficiency model. I would absolutely hire them again.

Excellent. They were already booked for the day and couldn't send a technician but instead of turning me away, they walked me through a few very simple troubleshooting steps. It turns out that my drain line was frozen which prevented my furnace from running. We thawed it out with warm water and it started right up. Oh, and my kids were home from school due to freezing rain so having the heater work was awesome! Thank you for the great customer service...

Work started on time and was completed on time. All work was done in one day. Everyone from the company was professional and knowledgeable.

Great! The service technician, Jerry, was professional and very informative as I learned a lot about the thing that keeps our house warm during the cold months. He gave me a few tips and techniques to troubleshoot common issues to keep my furnace running longer and to save money by DIY fixes. Turns out the drain was clogged with years of buildup and full of water. Jerry cleaned it out and continued his inspection and then explained his results. Fingers are crossed that I won't need to call again in the near future, but would give Service Now a call again in a heartbeat.

It was a quick service. He had it up and running right away. They are fast and good. They know what they are doing.

Everything went well. They were not able to service ac at same time because of the weather. I am hopeful they will honor the quoted price on that when they return.

I'd give them straight A's across the board. They were great with everything. If I had a need to hire them again, I would definitely use them if they were available.

For a total of $116, he replaced the filters with new ones that I had on hand, cleaned the burners, removed ash debris, adjusted pressures, and multiple other tasks. The thing that put this company ahead of the ones I have used in the past, although they were also good, is the invaluable advice that Frank supplied. The following will all potentially save me money in the future, and also help his company when I call for service: - purchasing filters 1" smaller would make installation easier for me - I should write the date I change filters on the framework of the filter so that I'll know when it is time to change them again. - sooner, or later, my hot surface igniter will need replacing. If I purchase the part from Home Depot and keep it on hand, it will save me money when I have it installed. - the furnace has a peek-thru window that I should the furnace malfunctions. There is a green light that has coded blinks to diagnose the cause of the problem. It helps the repair company if I relay the info to them when I call for service. - if the furnace fails to go on, I should listen for clicks, smell for gas odor, and look through the door panel with slits to see if the pilot light (a bright orange flame) is not on. If it isn't, it means my igniter switch has failed. Frank also advised me to save money by having both my air conditioner and furnace checked at the same time next summer. How refreshing to deal with a company that is truly interested in helping their customers, rather than just increasing their income!

Exceptional Service!. Service Now Team (Kurt, Kelly, Frank and Jason) provided exceptional service with installation of new AC unit at my home. Their customer service is outstanding, I have had an issue with the unit after 3 months of installation, and they attended to the issue the very next moment and replaced the unit for me. I highly recommend them. Their large number of A+ reviews truly represent their service.

Service Now installed my furnace about 7 years ago, and has done maintenance on it since then. I'm not too happy with the unit itself, but Service Now's response and service has been above and beyond. In this most recent experience, the furnace / AC stopped on the hottest day of the year, which turned out to be a Saturday. I called their dispatcher, and Kurt called me back late afternoon. He was able to help me diagnose the problem over the phone there and then, and suggested a short-term workaround that worked out well. The tech came to my house the following morning and I was fully operational again by 9AM. On a Sunday. Obviously had to pay extra for that, but it was most certainly worth it.

Our AC was blowing tepid air at best. I purchased a deal for an AC tune-up and within 30 minutes Service Now contacted me to schedule the appointment. During the day of the appointment the technician, Jerry, was prompt and extremely nice. He was professional and there was no high pressure sales involved. He fully explained the what I was dealing with (a 30+ year old AC!) and gave me some options. After the appointment, a full invoice with services performed were provided. It was a great experience from start to finish. Service Now communicated the process well and exceeded expectations. I would easily recommend them if anyone asked.

On 5/10 and 5/11/2016 I had a different company out to repair the fan to my heating and ac unit. At the end of the second day, they informed me that they could not fix the unit until they could order the part. Late that same day of 5/11/16, I contacted Service Now. The gentleman I spoke with went way above and beyond the norm to understand and address the problem I had, knowing I was working with another company. Within 30 minutes, he had the part I needed and said that he could get a technician at my house between 8:00 am and 9:00 am the next day with the part to repair the motor to the furnace fan. He also got information from the manufacturer of my furnace and saved me over $1000 when he informed me that I had an extended warranty on the unit (which I was not aware of). The other company told me that they could not get the part locally, they would order it and that my unit would not be repaired until 05/13 or 05/16. The other company also quoted me a repair price of $1,400. For $220, Service Now had my AC unit repaired early on Thursday when we were about to reach temperatures in the 80's and high 80's on Friday. I have never experienced a more professional and caring service company in all of my 40 adult years. I can't say enough good things about this company. To me they were a "life saver", made my day and I was thrilled with their service. The other thing that I want to comment on, is that after hearing my experience with two other companies, Service Now did not say anything negative about those other two companies, if fact he only said positive things. This is real class!
