It turned out fine. They were professional, reasonably priced.

Frank who was the technician was very nice from the time I greeted him at the door to the time he left. He listened to my concerns about a humming sound originating from the compressor unit in the attic- he immediately rectified the problem. He also noticed that our furnace exhaust pipe was disconnected and when it was in use during colder months was probably spewing carbon monoxide - Thank goodness he saw it and screwed the pipes together. He was a true professional and honest individual who elaborated on different areas of the A/C unit and gave some tips on how to save in the future. Called my wife right away and told her what a wonderful feeling I had getting the noise and A/C checked and the furnace exhaust re-attached without feeling like there was going to be some suprise charges like some other companies try to pull. I told Frank I would see him next year.

Overall, I was very pleased. Frank arrived at the agreed time, was very polite & professional. He explained everything to me and didn't seem to mind that I was looking over his shoulder the whole time. i appreciated his pointing out what I would need to buy this winter as it is an expensive item, & I now know to plan for it. I would definitely request this technician again.

I had a whisle in my air conditioner. I called another company from Angies list but they didn't show up. I called Service Now and was met with a nice and friendly person (Jason). A person that was there to help me. I was told about the online coupon for serving my air conditioner. He said it would cost less for them to come out and do that than just pay for a regular call. I usually have this done every year anyway, so I went ahead and printed out the coupon. They came within a reasonable amount of time. I meet Jerry and he explained to me all my questions and I was satified with his answers. The problem I had was fixed along with getting it serviced. I am now ready for a nice cool summer, that is if it ever gets here. Thanks Service Now!!

Service Now was responsive from the first contact and got me scheduled for the following day. The next day they kept me updated via phone on the technician's estimated arrival time. Their technician, Frank, was friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and fix it on the spot. In short, Service Now exceeded my expectations. Their company sticker is now on my furnace and I will be calling them for any and all future service and repair calls. I have already recommended them to friends at work.

This was another Angie's List "Big Deal." and it certainly was. Although the technician was late, I was called in a timely manner so I wasn't sitting at home wondering where he was. When he did arrive, he apologized profusely for being late. Turns out that he does such a thorough job that it takes him a bit longer than anticipated. He explained everything that he did, and told me how to do things myself. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge, his willingness to share, and his thoroughness. I highly recommend Frank and his company for any heating and cooling needs.

The representative for Service Now heating and Cooling was professional, thorough and very informative as to what he was doing at each stage of his work. I highly recommend this company. They called to make appointment and gave me a 24 hour heads up before showing up. Also on time and didn't waste time. Really pleased with their representative who did the service. We found this company on Angies List running a deal of the day for AC service. We ordered and got excellent service..... Cant go wrong!

We had a $75 coupon so it was half off. They were very helpful, they explained the system to us, and it was great. I think they are fine and do a good job.

They were very prompted in returning my phone call. Since the weather had to be warmer to perform the work he asked to put my name on a waiting list. We were called back as soon as it was warm enough and set up a time that was convenient for us. Frank was very courteous and called ahead of time to let us know that he would be arriving in about 30 minutes. He arrived on time and got right to work. Frank not only performed the work listed but also instructed us on how to perform some basic repairs if needed. He was VERY thorough and was very good at explaining the hows and whys of what he was doing. He also gave us some good tips on the fan usage for our system. I would highly recommended this company for competent, reliable work. Our system is clean and happy now! Thanks for the informative visit Frank!

Very quick service after our call. Our questions were answered, the noise that had been happening in the furnace was stopped with the maintenance, and there was no pressure to do more than what we wanted. We were totally satisfied.

Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m. I stepped out into the garage and immediately smelled a faint odor of gas, so I went inside and shut off the furnace at the thermostat and called Service Now. I've used this company repeatedly over the years and have always been happy with their professionalism. The answering service picked up my call and told me the rate for Sunday service and that I would receive a call from the technician at 8 a.m. Frank called at that time and I told him about the gas odor. First he asked me if I had called Northwest Natural Gas to have them come out to check for a gas leak, since they would do it for free and he wanted to save me money if he could. I asked if they would have the tools and parts needed to actually do a repair, and he said no, probably not. So I decided to have Frank come out anyway, because I knew it would give me peace of mind. He arrived within the hour and as soon as he took the panel off the furnace he confirmed that he could also smell the gas odor, so he shut off the gas at the furnace valve itself. Then he inspected the furnace and the gas hot water heater next to it--just in case that was the culprit--to detect the source of the leak. It was such a tiny leak that it wasn't immediately evident, but he diagnosed it as coming from the interior gas valve not sealing properly. Since it was Sunday, he had to wait until Monday morning to get the new part, but he said he'd leave a message with the office to contact me to let me know when they'd have someone come out to finish the repairs. In the meantime, the gas would be shut off for safety. Monday morning I got a call that Frank would be back before 12 noon. He arrived punctually and replaced the gas valve and cleaned up inside the furnace as well, then turned the gas back on again. Frank did a very thorough job and I was happy with the results!

What was great about the repairman was that he explained ever step of the process. I felt like i was taking an AC class. He gave me trouble items to watch out for in the future. He even installed some rubber feet on the AC units reducing the vibration, at no cost. I would definitely use these guys again. They went above and beyond the call of duty.

I called because our furnace was not turning on in very cold weather. I called Service Now because I'd had good experiences with them in the past. They charge $85 just to come out which they apply to the $149 charge for a funace tune up. They tested the furnace and all seemed well. In the next cold snap early this March, the furnace again refused to come on. They came out at no charge because they stood behind their previous work. This time they found a faulty draft inducer. Because they are not an authorized Trane (the maker of our 8-year-old-furnace) service provider and we have a 10-year extended warrantee, they told me it would save a lot of money for us to find an authorized Trane service provider to do the repair. I appreciate this level of integrity. Their service technitian was very professional and easy to work with. Their technitian was careful to clean up after himself. The same guy came out on both visits described above, and remembered on the 2nd visit what had gone on on the first visit. All-in-all, I can highly recommend this company

Ordered service special on Angie's List for furnace service on a home we just purchased. We wanted all ducts cleaned as well and they sub-contracted (Oregon Duct) that part of the job but included it in one bill. The service was great and thorough.

It went quite well. I watched the service person step by step to get some idea of whether or not our furnace is in good working condition. He first cleaned the UV air filters so that they had some time to dry. Then he opened up the heater and did a full inspection of all the parts. He also vacuumed and cleaned the machinery very thoroughly. It appears that he was very well prepared with all the necessary equipment, including a very cool camera that could extend into the burners to check for any holes. In the end, the whole job took about 1 hour 20 minutes. Although he mentioned that it was an old furnace which could expire soon, he did not push me to change it out after he found that it was all functionin properly. All in all, a very informative and friendly experience.

My home is a 1890 victorian and to say it had HVAC issues is putting it mildly. Service Now was recommended to me by a co-worker and Jason (the owner) was very professional and prompt in on the bid. The installation crew was efficient, punctual, and friendly. They walked me through the installation process and what to expect. The job did take a day and a half longer than expected (and they had to come back once to make some final modifications), but that is to be expected with a large job like this. Even with running long and a couple small changes along the way, Jason honored his initial bid. I would (and have) recommended Service Now to my friends and co-workers.

The job went well. They came prepared with all of the needed tools and parts. They even improved the efficiency of the existing ductwork to help reduce overall home heating costs. The furnace and HP worked well together but an ongoing issue had to be addressed over the next few weeks which took several trips for them to diagnose. They kept working and talking with factory reps to understand the issue and finally resolved it. I feel very comfortable in saying they did everything they could to fix it quickly but it was a very subtle problem. I also feel comfortable in saying that every time I've used this company I've had good service and they kept working until my issue was resolved. I recommend them for any heating or A/C service work you want done.

He was a conscientious guy. It was my second time to use him, the first time he put in a new AC unit. He was very nice, and clean cut and gave great service.
