Perfect! I ordered the "Deal" for a complete check and tune-up through Angie's List. The company responded within 24 hours to set up a time and was able to set an appointment within three days. Jerry arrived within the 2 hour window (actually, at the very beginning of that window) and finished the tune-up within 45 minutes. He gave me great advice about a part that was particularly noisey although functioning fine and suggested I call the original installers to have the part replaced by the manufacturer (still under warranty). He was thorough, professional and friendly.

chose this company because Angie's list had a coupon for 85$ furnace tune up. Frank showed up on time and what I appreciated most was that he didn't want to sell me anything I don't need, he assured me that my furnace will be good for another 10 years ( I was sure I had to buy a new one). He explained everything in detail without making me feel like total idiot which happens a lot in that business when the man of the house is not present. Next time I will use this company without hesitation and will definately ask for Frank, he knows how to treat and keep a customer.e

The technician was very helpful and had a ton of information to relay about our old furnace and air purification system (we just bought the home). He gave us an honest appraisal of the condition of the furnace, noting that it was in good condition. I got the sense, however, that he would have preferred to find something wrong, and therefore refer us to his sales dept. to purchase a new furnace. I'm not sure I would trust his advice if there was something wrong. I'd be concerned that any diagnosed problem may be a recommendation to purchase a new furnace. I wonder if the service technicians get $ for referrals to their sales dept.?

I received a call confirming arrival the morning of the scheduled appointment. The service representative was very professional and truly understood the importance of customer service. I have recruited three friends as new members to Angie's List, based on my experience with this company, and their need for heating and cooling expertise. I will continue to work with Service Now Cooling and Heating and will also continue to suggest them as company of choice within Angie's List. The "big deal" offer was just icing on the cake.

Serviceman, was on time. Explained what he was doing as he checked the furnace. He was pleasant and thorough.

We have used them in the past for some repairs and we just received an estimate from them to do some replacement work. I think they are just very professional and they seemed to be reasonably priced.

I bought an Angie's List coupon for half-off the usual price for a "16 point furnace tune-up". I called and made an appointment for the following day; I was given a window between noon and two o'clock. On the day of the appointment, the technician called at nearly 3 o'clock and said he'd arrive in fifteen minutes. So, he arrived an hour and fifteen minutes late for my two-hour window. It's a good thing I work from home! As for the service, there's nothing really nothing to report. I showed him the furnace, chit chatted for about two minutes and left him to do the job. A half-hour later he gave me a hand-written report and told me that everything was in working order-- no surprise since my furnace is only eight years old. He advised me that I probably wouldn't need another maintenance visit for "a couple of years". I would hire them again with reservations. Certainly, the price with the coupon was better than any other company I called. I'd weigh that against how valuable my time is and if my schedule is flexible enough to allow for a technician's late arrival. For this reason, I'd think twice before contacting Service Now for an emergency call.

He did a great job. He was the same person who serviced our heating system back in 11/17/2010 so he was familiar with our system and took care of everything in a timely/efficient manner. Recommend him highly.

We took advantage of Angies List's Big Deal discount coupon to have our furnace serviced. This was just a routine maintenance service worth $170. We called Service Now and they made arrangements to come out the next day in a 2 hour window of our choosing. The service professional arrived on time and did the work. He also answered a few questions and showed me how to replace the filters. He replaced the filters and showed me how to light the pilot in our gas fire places. Very friendly guy, and I learned a few helpful things about both the furnace and the fire place systems. We will go with Service Now next time we need service.

I got estimates from 4 HVAC contractors, ServiceNow proposal included most efficient combination (9.2 HSPF, 17.0 SEER) plus best price for a turn-key project. Single day job included removal of gas furnace & central air conditioner, then installation of new heat pump & concrete pad, gas furnace & heat exchanger plus programmable thermostat. Crew cleaned up job site afterwards. ServiceNow took care of city building permit and scheduled city inspection (passed). Also provided paperwork for easy claim of rebates & tax credits (final cost 8,070). Very satisfied with the new system and the installation job.

Came home from hot day at work and a/c unit would not turn on. Called for emergency service call. Service tech wanted to do some troubleshooting over the phone to avoid cost of unnecessary service call. Asked if we had cleaned our air filter recently (we had not). He suspected it was a frozen unit because of no air flow. He suggested we let unit thaw over night and if still problems he would come out. Unit still was not working the next day so called and they came out. Required a switch replacement on the unit. They were professional and responsive.

Excellent. Jason worked with us on our financing and scheduled his team to come out the next week. We were very happy with the professionalism and efficiency of everyone. All of the registration paperwork, tax credits (info being sent to me) and rebates are being done at the office. Thanks guys!

Jason was very friendly and professional. He looked at our existing furnace system, and explained how and where we could install an air conditioning unit. However, he failed to notice why an air conditioning unit probably wouldn’t best meet our needs. Two other companies we received bids had picked up on this. Jason did provide an estimate through email the day after our appointment, as requested.

My Husband writes: Our air conditioning died this past weekend, during what were probably the two hottest days of the Summer, so I turned to Angie's List to try to find someone who wouldn't take advantage of our situation. I saw all the great reviews for Service Now Heating and Cooling, so I called them on Sunday and was surprised to talked to a live person. Yes, it was an answering service, but I sure was nice to ask a live person! As for working with this company, I couldn't be more pleased with our entire experience with Service Now Heating and Cooling. First, I got a call at 8:13 AM on Monday to schedule the appointment (I thought I'd have to wait all day to get this scheduled, and then I figured it would be several days until the appointment, as we were in the middle of a heatwave). When the scheduler called, he gave me several options FOR THAT DAY, and I chose "between 3 and 5 PM". At about 3:40 PM I got a call from Frank, saying he'd be at my home in 15 to 20 minutes, and, sure enough, my doorbell rang 15 minutes later. Frank really knows his stuff and he was friendly and sociable. He also kindly educated me a bit as well. He showed me how to change my furnace filters and how to hose out the compressor coil (both of which were extremely dirty - I really appreciated that he didn't make me feel bad about that!), and when I told him I'd always wondered about how refrigeration systems work, he gave me a great little briefing on the physics involved, all while smoothly continuing with his work. When I told him I'd been frustrated by how hard it was to get the air filters into and out of our furnace, he suggested I look into a sidewall filter grill for the air intake inside our house. That'll make it a lot easier for me to change this important filter much more frequently than I have been willing or able to in the past. He advised me on how I could do this DIY, but after our great experience with Service Now, I've pretty much decided to have them come back and do this for us. As for the cost, I was pleasantly surprised by how low the total bill was (and I appreciated the automatic 10% off we got just for being Angie's List members). My Wife and I both thought the price was more than reasonable. So, in short, my A/C died on Sunday, I called Service Now H & C that evening, left a message with a live person, got a call first thing Monday morning, got an appointment for later that same day, had their technician arrive as scheduled (after calling to let me know he was on his way), learned a thing or two about A/C systems, received a very reasonable invoice, and had a nice cool house by the time my wife got home from work. I will definitely contact Service Now again in the future. I wish they'd had a company sticker I could have put on my furnace, and/or a refrigerator magnet I could put on my fridge, as a reminder to have them out to do all our our regular heating and cooling maintenance in the future.

He is very conscientious & obviously enjoys his job. he took time to explain what he was doing & why, things to look out for in the future, explained how i could do some self-care of the unit that wouldn't involve the level of knowledge that he has. i particularly appreciated his advice on replacing my electronic filters w/ the much cheaper filters one can buy at home improvement centers. he also pointed out i was missing the cap on a tube on my a/c. it didn't seem to leak but he offered to bring a new one by, once the company locates a spare.

Things went well. The system just worked when Frank was done. Frank was on site working for only 35 minutes. He took all necessary precautions and created no mess. He's obviously done this before. I was very satisfied with his work and will ask for him if our heating cooling system needs work in the future. It may sound like I'm shilling for this company, but I've had bad luck with heating cooling companies before, not the least of which was the company that installed our system in the first place. So when I find a company that actually does satisfactory work in a professional manner, I want to make sure they're recognized. Other than the work Service Now has done for us, I have no connection with them. Further, a part has gone bad on our furnace that exhibits its symptoms only in very cold weather like we had last winter. Service Now is not a factory rep for the manufacturer of our furnace. We have a long-term warranty on the original furnace. So rather than Service Now just doing the work, which would not have allowed us to take full advantage of our warranty, they didn't actually recommend another heating/cooling company (liability reasons, I guess), but did tell me that name of a factory-authorized company for our furnace about whom they've heard no complaints. I'll check them out on Angies List, and if they look good, I'll have the warranty work done by them.

The serviceman arrived on time. He cleaned and serviced the air conditioning unit outside. When he was finished, he told me that we needed a part that would run $400-500. He said that when it gets hot, the unit won't be able to keep up with cooling the house. I told him I would need to talk with my partner about it. He said his boss would get back to me with an estimate of the costs of the part and installation. I never heard another word from them. We have had the a/c running on very hot days this summer with no issues. It felt like the promotion was a "come on" to get them to do additional work.

Service was exellent. Service person (Kurt) took time to explain to me what he was looking for and things I could do to help maintain the heat pump and furnace. He did several things not required by our agreement--for example, he put thick pieces of rubber under the heat pumpt to help reduce noise, and it works. He also was extremely helpful in suggesting repairs that can be done safely and cost effectively by me. He also spoke knowledgeably about the current state of each of the heat pump and furnace vis a vis newer equipment and the expected life of each. It was a consumer-oriented approach that I greatly appreciated, and I would recommend the company highly.

The electrician was suppose to come out on same day but could not. I needed to wait for him the next day he showed up at the time he stated but left in 20 minutes to get lunch and supplies. I would hire this company again.

The technician actually showed up early, after calling me to see if he could come earlier since he was ahead of schedule. He was very professional, extremely polite and described what he would be doing to both the heating and A/C. Since I have had maintenance on them every year for about 5 yrs., I didn't expect any surprises. But, he pointed things that we done incorrectly and actually costing us money (wrong filter in furnace, insulation in furnace that was impeding air flow). He was very efficient and I was comfortable having him in my home and really appreciated his tips for better efficiency (switching the fan on "On" after the temp has been reached). I will definitely use Service Now for all my future tune-ups.

Frank was a knowledgeable technician and made good suggestions about improving the performance of our unit. He did not try to up-sell us, saying instead that we have a good 10-15 years left on our A/C system.

Frank, the service technician, arrived on time and immediately went to work. He examined my Trane furnace and pointed out some features and answered some questions I had on it's operation and maintenance. He then checked out the AC unit and gave it a thorough inspection and reported that the unit was in good operating condition. I had some questions on operation and routine maintenance of the AC unit, which he was only to happy to answer for me. He had some suggestions for both units, which I appreciated. I plan to have them come back later this year to perform a tuneup on the furnace unit. All in all, a good experience with this company. I definitely would recommend them for HVAC service or upgrades.

This is the company I will call in the future ,if I need someone to fix the AC and or furnace.

Have used this company before & again, very pleased with their punctuality, professionalism & expertise. Technician Frank very quickly identified the problem & fixed it. Did a performance check of the furnace afterward & everything was up & running. Have been very impressed with this company & will continue to use them for any heating/cooling related services.

Technician Jerry was wonderful. Did a thorough job & answered all of my questions. Was experienced & knowledgeable, able to provide education on furnace system. Appreciated the honest assessment. I had asked to have the ducts evaluated for possible cleaning but was told the ducts looked fine at this time. Definitely felt that this was an honest, reliable & experienced company - not out looking to fleece an unsuspecting customer.
