Called Curt at Service Now to get a quote on disconnecting an AC compressor to get ready for building a deck. Kelly arrive at the house on time a gave me a quote and did the work .

Purchased a $74.50 deal on Angie's List for a forced air furnace inspection and maintenance. The technician was punctual, completed the job promptly and was very professional. There was one small repair, upping the total job cost to $100 which seemed fair to me. I would hire this company again.

This is late, so I've forgotten many of the details, like when it was... A guy came out on time, and as planned. He was nice enough, did well enough and was just fine. He didn't do anything extra, really. From the other reviews I heard, I was hoping to learn a bit how my system worked, but he pretty much stuck to the original plan. It was really hot out, so I bet they had a lot of air conditioning customers at that time. Ended up that after he left, my AC broke down. (The day after). I was suspicious, but they were firm that it was nothing they had done. I ended up hiring them to fix it, and it was around 200.00. I have had no issues with my air conditioning before or after the service appointment. I hired them, simply to check it out to make sure it was efficient, as my power bills have been high. They assure me that my system is fine. Well, after the fix. :) Don't get me wrong. I do not think that they did anything to break the system, but then again, I know nothing about anything about air conditioning!

I chose Service Now Heating and Cooling based on reviews on Angie's list. I was particularly interested in Service Now because the reviews reflected their focus on repairs and information and not on trying to sell customers new furnaces. I was amazed on the quick response when I called. The representative that I called discussed my service options, and pointed out that because of the Angies's List discount, for a small amount over the standard charge for a service call I could also get the recommended routine system maintenance performed. Frank, the service technician, was at my house within 90 minutes of my call. He was very professional, and invited me to watch as he did his system diagnosis, and explained each step of the diagnosis and repair process. He took time to show me the drain trap that was defective, and how that led to the problem with the clogged draft port. He gave me tips on routine maintenance and areas to watch in the future, provided a recommendation on the best filters to insure the air quality in my house, and showed me how to verify the gas flow volume. By the end of the service, my furnace was fixed, I was well informed about how it worked, and I had learned some diagnostic tips. Overall I was extremely satisfied and highly recommend Service Now heating and Cooling to anyone in need of furnace repair or service.

Our A/C unit had not been inspected for at least 10 years. I have done all the maintenance on the unit since we've owned it, but I thought a second opinion from a professional was a good idea as a proactive measure. The service technician showed up on time and performed the work requested on our central A/C unit. He complained to my wife that the washer and dryer should have been moved away from the furnace prior to his visit. Apparently he wanted to check the filters and it didn't occur to me that he would need access to the furnace since he was checking our A/C unit. I asked my wife how things went when I returned home from work that evening and she said the guy did the work and seemed knowledgeable, but he was a little rude regarding the washer and dryer situation. While I'm sure the technician did a fine job inspecting our A./C unit, I take issue with anyone coming into my home and making my family feel uncomfortable. First impressions are important and I'm afraid that I will not be hiring this company in the future.

It was the first time ever getting a tune up on my furnace as I am a first time home-buyer and just bought the house 1 month prior. It was an excellent experience, as my furnace is a bit newer and somewhat complicated with all the different types of blinking lights of different colors indicating different things, and the filter is a combination of a few different metal parts which are to be taken out and cleaned. The guy they sent over (since I am writing this review a year late I have since forgotten his name) was amazing. He took apart my furnace and cleaned everything. All the while he was explaining exactly what he was doing, why, and what it did for the furnace. I actually felt he was more of a teacher than a service tech. I could also tell he really enjoyed teaching, and even said he prefers to do his job in that manner, with the homeowner there and paying attention. After taking apart the furnace, cleaning it, cleaning my metal filters and even setting my thermostat (which I hadn't figured out how to program yet) he was off to the next job. He never tried to sell me something that I didnt need and I appreciated that. He was a great guy and I will definitely use this company again the next time my furnace needs a tune up! (Also price above might be wrong because I honestly dont remember how much I paid. I did buy a coupon from Angie's list though , which is how I found them, so I know the service was cheaper than what I would have paid previously).

Out of three people called, these guys responded immediately. I cannot comment on price or professionalism as the repair was done for a rental and dealings were via phone, but everything was excellent. Repair was made that day and everyone was happy.

The gentleman was very open and honest and told me exactly what was going on. He did not try to upsell me which I appreciated.

They came out the day after I called. They were wonderful and professional. Jerry was great from start to finish. I would definitely call them again.

he came out on time, went right to work. as he was inspecting the AC unit, he was educating me about it, so i would know how, and he gave lots of advice on how not to get overcharged from contractors doing this kind of work. it turned out the unit needed freeon, he replaced two gallons, and spent almost two hours thawing out the unit because it had frozen up trying to cool the house. he did not charge me for those two hours. Nice guy, did a great job!

This was the first time that I ever had my A/C and Furnace serviced after owning my house for 5 years. This service call was triggered because my A/C stopped working after the circuit was tripped. From the time the service man (Frank) arrived, I felt very comfortable that I made the right choice in a company to complete the work. He took the time to make sure I understood what each step he was doing as a part of the service call. He even educated me on things I can check in the future to avoid service calls for something that I should be able to fix on my own. He was very informative and personable at the same time. Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend them to a friend or neighbor in the future.

They installed my HVAC and in 2007 and have maintained it since then. Always show up and perform service in a timely and professional manner. I'll keep using them.

He gave me some nice tips on how to do things myself in order to save money in the future. Very nice, polite guy. I thought it was good for the price. He came when he said he was going to, in fact I think he was five minutes early. He knew what he was doing.

This was a big deal coupon from Angie's List. He was really good. You get seen right away. We called on Sunday and they were out Monday about noon. The service tech that came out was named Frank. He was real professional and courteous. He explained the problem pretty good I was happy. I would use him again.

. They gave a recommendation to get a better filter which we had forgotten about. The gentleman who came walked me through the whole process. He told me what he was doing and showed me the equipment that he was using. He showed me how to do it if I liked to do it on my own as far as keeping the outside unit clean and to clear the leaves and stuff. He advised on techniques to use. He was very honest and straightforward. He was a great technician.

The dispatcher was very helpful and professional. Scheduling was easy and we were advised of what we would be spending before we booked. It seemed reasonable so we opted to proceed. The serviceman arrived on time. I was still with the sewer line guy when he got there, so my realtor greeted him and showed him where to find the furnace and the A/C compressor. Honestly, this was not the best money I've ever spent. The serviceman complained about previous clients and referred to inspectors as "glorified housepainters." Our "glorified housepainter" turned up two problems that we wanted investigated: 1) the A/C would not come on and 2) the house was very slow to heat up, the temp rising only 6 degrees in 3.5 hours. At the end of the Service Now inspection, the expert confirmed that, yes indeed, there is something wrong with the A/C and sure enough, it will not turn on. I asked if he knew what the problem was, he said no. His guess was either a bad pressure switch (the receipt literally says "looks to be a bad pressure switch witch [sic] no idea at this time" or that it was low on refrigerant. Since the purpose of his visit was to help us evaluate what issues there might be with the house and how to proceed with negotiations, I asked how much it might cost to fix it. He declined to even guess, which left me wondering why he was even there. As to why the temp only rose 6 degrees in 3.5 hours? Never got an answer. He told us that we had a variable speed furnace and that probably accounted for what felt like low output from some of the vents. Before he left he put a giant sticker on the furnace--without my permission, on a furnace in a house I did not own. We will close on the house on the 20th, assuming all goes well. We ended up asking the sellers to have the A/C fixed but couldn't really ask them about the heater because we didn't really know what the issue was, and because of the short inspection period, we were out of time to get answers. I guess in the fall if we have issues, we'll have to call someone else in.

Called quickly after purchasing and was able to schedule an appointment that week. Received a call before arrival, which was right in the 2 hour window. Work was completed promptly and efficiently. Filter was replaced. Serviceman went over complete results of tune up. Overall good experience.
