That was great. They were prompt. I called them and I couldn't get through or something so I went on Angie's List to see what there was for people who worked on air conditioners. Then I went back and I called Service Now again and I did get through and he directed me to buy the $99 promotional evaluation because he said by the time they come out and take a look, there would be a charge and it would end up saving me money. He came out the next day and fixed the leak.

During a recent hot spell in Portland our A/C stopped working. I called many places and one of them recommended that I call Service Now. I was greeted nicely on the phone and was told that it would take at least five days until they could get someone to look at our unit. Very surprisingly Service Now arrived in four days -- one day before the scheduled appointment. Needless to say our family was happy. The technician was very professional and he even tolerated my kids watching the entire diagnostic work up. The problem was quickly identified (blown capacitor) and luckily he had a replacement on the truck. Service Now was in and out in the less than hour and the problem was fixed.

It went very well. The technician showed up when they said he would, they called ahead to let me know he was on his way. The technician was friendly and professional. He explained everything he was doing, all of the possible things that could be wrong with the A/C, and double checked everything before fixing only what was needed. It turned out to only be a couple of blown fuses. He also make several recommendations to help the unit run more efficiently. I'm very happy with Service Now and would call them again.

I purchased the Angie's List deal to have my furnace inspected. The guy they sent was late and wasn't trained or have the appropriate parts to make the repair (even though I specifically walked through the issue on the phone in advance). They said they'd call to schedule a different guy to come out. I ended up having to call them because I needed it fixed and they hadn't called in days. When the new guy came out he also didn't have a lot of the necessary parts so he jerry-rigged a solution to the problem. My furnace is now covered in tape, the trap door he installed to access the filter is too large and hangs over the furnace edge by a 4 inches on both sides and he pieced two filters together (by butting them) to get the "right" size filter. This company has poor workmanship and is not very professional. After they left I felt like I needed to hire someone else to fix the job. 6/19/14 Update: After posting my review the company called and offered to redo the job and give me free filters. While the offer was nice, who has the time to give a company three tries to get the job done right. I will give them credit for taking ownership of their work and offering to make it right.

It was just fine. I found them through Angie's List and will continue to use them. They are always good at what they do. They were on time.

Great! Informative review of furnace.

We woke up Friday morning to a cold house and knew immediately that the Igniter had worn out again after several years. We were concerned that we may not be able to get it fixed until next week (which was NOT acceptable to my lovely spouse). :) After calling two other outfits who said it would be next week sometime - we decided to use AngiesList. Service Now Inc. said not only could they come out today but in a few hours! That was really great! Jerry called to say he was on his way and arrived within the specified time window. He was done in less than 30 minutes and the house is warm again! We received a substantial discount for identifying the problem (which saved them diagnostic time) and for using AngiesList to locate them. We are very happy with the prompt and courteous service we received and would definitely use them again!

The service turned out well. We ended up buying a new furnace for them. They were informative, helpful and very clear about their pricing. Scheduling was very easy.

I am really pleased with the level of customer service provided by Service Now. They installed an air conditioner last May. Our situation has been a bit tricky due to house size and airflow issues, but they have come out as needed and have gone above and beyond to ensure our comfort with the unit. They stand behind their work and state that any additional "tweaking", etc, is covered in the contract. They didn't just "give up" on our concerns; they worked diligently to make sure our home was cooled. I highly, highly recommend them. It is rare these days to find a company that is actually concerned about making sure the job is done well and the customer is satisfied with the final product.

Frank is awesome! He has serviced my furnace for over 6 years. (He has worked worked on it when he worked for another company, and now he's been out twice since he's been with Service Now.) He didn't just service the unit, he showed us what we need to be checking on ourselves to avoid costly repairs/replacements. Frank is extremely knowledgeable. I will definitely continue to use Service Now.

Total cost WELL under what the other company would have charged, and Frank was fabulous and walked me through all the details of what he was checking and how and why (I was interested - and I'm sure if you're not he would be fine not telling you), replaced the concentrator, connected the water pump shut-off wires for the furnace which had never been connected (now if the pump fails the system will shut down instead of having water overflow). GREAT STUFF! Highly recommend them!

Do yourself a favor and call this outfit first. This was the FOURTH (highly rated) company I had called and the first three either didn't show up, rescheduled more than three times, or gave me a quote that was almost nine hundred dollars. Service now arrived the same day I called, provided an estimate or a reasonable price, gave me an Angie's list discount, and fixed the furnace for a third of what two other companies quoted me. Jerry, their technician was fast, polite, and informative. Thus ends my many months long furnace nightmare dealing with other companies.

This all proceeded well. I was impressed that they surmised that the furnace heat exchanger would still be on warranty, which had not even occurred to me. They were correct, and this saved us a bundle. They handled that part of the transaction for me. The service people were hard working and seemed quite knowledgeable and comfortable with the whole thing. It's impossible to know if the original package deal was a good one, since it immediately led to repeated visits and an expensive job, which blurs the itemization of the whole bill. But my instinctive judgment was that the price overall was fair for the services provided.

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE HAVE USED SERVICE NOW. BOTH HAVE BEEN QUALITY EXPERIENCES. THEIR TECH CALL WITHIN THE TWO HOURS BLOCK THAT HAD BEEN STATED TO TELL US HE WAS ON THE WAY. HE CHECKED THE FURNANCE AND THE OUTSIDE COMPRESSOR. HE EXPLAINED WHAT HE HAD FOUND WHICH WAS THE UNIT IS OPERATING WITHIN SPECS. VERY PLEASANT INDIVIDUAL

Service Now Inc., Heating and Cooling, did a WONDERFUL job replacing our old worn electric heat pump and furnace!! We are a 19 unit condominium and 4 of the residents decided it was time to change old electric heat pump and furnaces. Bids were solicited from 3 companies and we chose Service Now. Jason Johnston, the owner, was very easy to work with. He provided a complete description of the work to be done, which included a crane to get the old compressors off the roof of the condominium building and to lift the new ones into place. New furnaces were also replacing the old furnaces. Correspondence always took place in a timely manner. A team of 4 technicians and an electrician completed the job in 3 days. The team captain was Kelly, his team: Frank, Wesley and Alec. Everyone showed up when expected, explained what they were doing, worked hard, were friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. The old units came out and the new units were installed without incident. All units are working GREAT. We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to replace their HVAC equipment!!

During the purchase process of my house the inspector noted the furnace was in desperate need of servicing and that it was shifting in the attic and leaking exhaust. I found Service Now on Angie's list and purchased their service for $99.00 and wrote an explanation of what the inspector found. They called the same day and were able to come out the next day. The service tech was able to take care of all I needed and gave me a quick lesson on the thermostat. Great service at a great value. I will definitely use them again!
