Description of Work: Yard maintenance, good, complete, honest care; $100.00 per month. Does not charge if the lawn does not need to be mowed i.e. during the summer when the lawn is not watered.

 + -1 moreTimely return call for initial contact. Was to get another return call with quote next day which never occurred. Would have at least appreciated a refusal to do work as opposed to no call back.
Description of Work: Requested a quote for short term lawn care for .5 of an acre. Talked with owner Scott, and said he would be out to evaluate and call me back with quote. Never heard back again. Least he could have done was leave a message on my answering machine.

 + -1 moreScott Nelson is running a good business and doing some excellent work. He and his assistant were timely, worked hard all day for 3 days, and delivered a great finished product. All of the work was explained to me, he didn't hesitate if he had a question or issue to discuss with me, and he was upfront and detailed about his fees. I am a little reluctant to post a glowing review like this, only because Scott is getting a very busy schedule due to all the good reviews he is getting here on Angie's List, which might make it harder to find some time in his schedule if I need him for some more work.
Description of Work: I had moved into a house with a yard that was way over-planted and much of it was becoming overgrown and full of weeds. I needed a yard that was more manageable. Scott and his assistant did 3 full days of work [spread over 3 weeks] on my front and back yard. After walking the whole yard with Scott and describing what I wanted done to EVERY thing, they set to it. Every plant was either trimmed back or removed completely. Over 2 pickup-truck loads of debris were hauled away. All the weeds were sprayed. When everything was taken back as far as I wanted it, they then brought in a load of barkdust and gave all the non-lawn real estate a good new bed of barkdust. Lastly, they rototilled, leveled and seeded 2 new areas of lawn that before had been completely overrun with weeds. That last day of their work was a month ago, and with me watering it 2x a day since those 2 areas now have new lush, green lawn growing strong.

Description of Work: So far I've had two mowings, one from Scott himself and one from an employee. Both jobs involved mowing and edging, and both were performed quickly, but carefully.

 + 0 moreScott returned my call immediately, and was at my house to give an estimate ($30 per mow/edge) half and hour later. He was able to put our yard in his schedule starting that day! I went to work and came home to a beautiful yard! They came every other week all spring and part of the summer, but since we don't water in the summer, we cancelled service when the grass went dormant. We will definitely call them again when we need the work.
