Kyle replaced the old water heater with a new one in a couple of hours. He was very professional and knowledgeable, explained what the options were and left the place spotless at the end. Great job 👏

I had an appointment scheduled with them and they called me within the appointment window stating that they had no techs available. When I requested to reschedule, they stated that there was no availability at this time. They wouldn't reschedule. Hopefully I am the sole, unique person that this happened/happens to. Luckily it was my day off but it forced me to scramble and I had to take an extra day off to get this completed.

I cannot say enough good things about these guys. We needed a re-piping and they sent Kyle to help us out. Kyle was actually specifically referred to me by our neighbors and this man was the real deal. From the estimate to actual completion of work, Kyle was on time, hard working, communicative, knowledgable, and extremely accomodating to our schedule and needs. He made a seemingly painful process, well, painless. Re-piping ones house is expensive and invasive - it was not something any of us were looking forward to. Kyle knocked it out in about a week and did stellar work. He's a pretty cool guy on top of that. My wife and I would abosultely recommend Rescue Rooter for any plumbing needs. Thanks, Kyle!

Never showed to 1st appointment. Contacted them later that day and they rescheduled the next afternoon. Then next day called explaining they don't work in my area anymore but there website states they do. Person canceling the appointment was laughing at me at the end of the call. Don't waste your time.

I used Angi to find someone who could clear my clogged shower drain today. I got a few names to try. Rescue Rooter contacted me before I even got a chance to call them or others on the list. I wanted a same day appointment and they scheduled it for me. At 5:45 PM I got a call from Rescue Rooter who said they wanted to reschedule for sometime tomorrow. I said no. I was then unable to find anyone else to do the job so late in the day. I feel like Rescue Rooter was dishonest with me. They got to me first, promised me something they couldn't deliver and backed out after it was too late to find someone else.

Their ad specifically says "fast and exceptional service for all of your plumbing need... including emergency plumbing repair." Called them with an emergency burst pipe this morning, and they said they don't offer emergency services due to lack of manpower.

They came to inspect a clogged drain pipe due to tree roots. Could not auger the pipe. Dug out and replaced damaged pipes the next morning. Refused to itemize bill, charging $4,485.20. Could only explain about $2,100 of the cost. Seemed like piracy. But wait, it gets worse! They promised a manager would contact us to discuss the bill. They never did. Just put in a claim on our credit. But the week after the work was done the tub stopped draining and we had to call another better plumber to fix this. So in the end we spent an additional $400 to complete Rescue Rooters s***** expensive work AND they dinged our credit. Dont just walk away, run. These people are awful.

Drain for my kitchen sink perfectly work and technician Wilson was great, friendly, and professional. I would highly recommend use Rescue Rooter to others.

Technicians came out on time and were good about communication, keeping masks on, etc. They assessed the situation, then quoted a price of $453 to clear out one drain, which had a cleanout valve within 12 feet of the blockage. When I said not interested (based on price) the main tech relayed they could maybe okay it with their boss to do the job for $100 (price matching to another company we've reached out to). At that point, I just declined. Seems a bit sketchy to quote 4.5x what others are willing to do the job for and then start haggling when your estimate is refused. Also, there were three technicians and all came indoors, with no real explanation of why so many people were required. Maybe a training day for a new employee?

I called rescue rooter to clear a clogged drain. They came out, quoted me $300 (wow!) and got to work. After about 15 minutes, they determined they couldn't clear it, told me they wouldn't charge me and gave me a quote to replace to bathtub line. After they walked out the door, I couldn't stop laughing at the OUTRAGEOUS quote they gave me. I then called a higher rated plumber and was quoted about 75% less than Rescue Rooter. THEN when the pipe was cut out, I looked inside to see the clog and there was a snapped off drain snake in my pipes. It was Rescue Rooters drain snake. I know this because 1) they were talking about snapping a drain snake and 2) there was no rust or corrosion on the metal snake and the snap point on the metal snake was fresh. If you snap a drain snake off in my drain, don't tell me about it and then give me a gouging quote to fix, I will tell everyone. Price gouging in the current environment is shameful. You don't deserve the business of Angie's list, their customers deserve better than you.

It went well – the service man was polite etc. - I just feel that financially I was ripped off.

I had to call to have a toilet fixed for a senior relative on a Sunday. The customer relations staff were very helpful and pleasant. The tech, Dustin, that came to do the work was unphased by the unpleasant situation. He was understanding, super helpful and did a great job.

I called them the evening of the 30th, and did confirm with them that this was a repair that was an emergency. When we spoke, they informed me that they would call me before going to the house, and they also told me that they would give me an estimate before doing any work. They never called me, and simply showed up to my house while I was out, but my wife was in. The gentleman gave her an outrageous estimate, to which she agreed because we needed to get this done. The gentleman did a fine job repairing it, but I cannot believe how outrageous the price was. I feel like we've been hoodwinked.

“Bait and Switch” on the $88.00 special. Serviceman took one look and quoted $350 plus with a one year guarantee. After robust discussion he agreed to “make the customer happy” and work was done in 15 minutes at $88.00

Don't fall for their $88 special! On the phone they'll tell you that opening the drain will cost $88. When they arrive it's "Oh, that's for a different service."

Did not get back to me. Didn't even have any communication from the Angie's List quote request.

This provider will only quote when on-site, and will not divulge any pricing information. Sounds like a way to discourage any price comparison and get the homeowner to accept the "first bid", under the guise of "we can only quote if we see the situation". I'm disappointed in the provider, and also in Angie's List. I truly hope that other providers are more open in their business practices.

I returned from vacation to find my sink totally clogged, nothing would go down. I called Jack Howk and even though it was after hours they answered the phone and set me up for someone to come the next day. I got a call when the tech was on his way. He was prompt and very professional and helpful. He assessed the problem quickly, and ended up staying for several hours, as more was needed than initially it seemed. Because of my work schedule, it would have been very difficult to have him come back a different day to finish the job, so he was kind enough to just get it all done. In the end, he cleared the drain, replaced the leaking pipe, and replaced the faulty faucet with a new one. Ace hardware is right around the corner, and he had to pop over there a couple times to get the correct items (including the new faucet). He was courteous, patient, and did a great job. I was really happy with the service.

I was very grumpy about having to this. They were great. I trusted them. I had a good experience with them. They were willing to explain things to me knowing that I was a very conscientious customer and verify. They were good to work with my tenants. I think they were pretty solid.

My neighbor suggested them. Should have looked at the reviews first. Advised them when hiring that I was on a very tight schedule. Waited around for the 4 hour window only to be told the were running behind. Acted like I was the problem that I couldn't accommodate their schedule to be available any longer. Very frustrating and disappointing! Just say from the start we don't think we can fit you in.
