It was a pleasure to work with Mike, Hilario and Roy at ProScape. In a mere one and a half days, they transformed our yard and prepped it for new landscaping. I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant, cheerful and hardworking crew.

It was disappointing.

When everyone is doing the work, they are prompt, but when you have problems, they are never around. When I spoke to the company's representative we agreed on bark chips, so I assumed bark chips were being used, but instead they came and sprayed bark DUST!!! They didn't tell me it was going to be bark DUST! When they were spraying the ground with it, they notified the tenants, but one tenant wasn't home so bark dust ended up inside the unit and I ended up paying for that unit to be cleaned as a result. Because there are only a few chips and mostly dust, it has blown everywhere and doesn't look very good. I asked if they layed UNDERLAYMENT under the chips so we wouldn't have weeds but he said it wasn't necessary. Now I PAY MORE for someone to come and REMOVE the WEEDS and spray to prevent weeds than I would for someone to just come and mow the lawn!!! This requires a lot more maintenance than I expected, which defeats the purpose of the zieri landscaping. If they FIX the problem I would use them again and change my report. I just want what's FAIR. * * * * * * * * UPDATE 3/5/2011 I phoned ProScape after reading their response to my Angie'slist report. Currently we are trying to workout a solution to our communication problem and how that has affected my property landscape. They have been somewhat helpful with coming to meet with me and see the condition of the landscape. However, anything to IMPROVE the condition of what was already done will COST ME and in this economy, I'm not in a position to pay AGAIN for something that SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. After paying a "Professional Landscaping company" $4,000 to landscape your FRONT YARD, you would HOPE for better service and RESULTS! Although I hired ProScape to do this job years ago, every year I regret having hired them because the landscape is a constant eye-sore! :(

Perfect. It was a couple people that came out. The owner was very good. The crew was clean and fast and did it all in one day. No other companies would respond to my emails for business. They were very responsive.

The bulk of the regrade was acceptable. Water is now drawn away from the house. I still feel that this should have been an obvious requirement the first time the job was done. But it has been fixed. However, the landscape timbers that were removed were around the base of a 60 foot pine tree. The wind storm in December knocked the tree over. Fortunately the only damage was the adjacent fence and not my or my neighbor's home. Burrell is in a hurry and doesn't always take time to listen well or observe all of the requirements in a job. Furthermore, he can be rather spiteful when discussing issues with his work. He almost sounded pleased with the fact that the last $500 that he wanted for the work was less than my costs for the repairs required to fix up the damage from the felled tree.

Poorly. They were not responsive, difficult to deal with, and unpleasant at times. They were not interested in providing service.

After a frustrating experience working with a number of less than stellar landscape contractors, we came across Burrell Palmer and Pro Scape NW. What a refreshing group. Burrell and his entire work crew were professional, dependable, artistic, and best of all, they did what they said they would do. Burrell really understands NW landscaping and was able to create a wonderful design that blended in with our surroundings with great color and texture. He listened to our ideas and then made suggestions which actually improved the project and reduced the cost to keep it within our budget. During the project, he called me every day to give me a status update and always maintained flexibility to make last minute changes, etc. Pro Scape was a true partner with us in designing and executing the perfect project. Anyone looking for the right group would be crazy to not consider using Pro Scape NW.

They were prompt and professional in returning the call. I think the price was a bit higher than I expected but I think they would do a good quality job. We will have to reconsider our request to reduce the cost.

For everything that's involved, the price is very reasonable. I've been with them for 5 or 6 years. Price is monthly rate. They're excellent.

This was a great experience. Burrell not only did a great job at cleaning the pond, but he also took the time to really explain everything to my husband and I. He was on time and pleasant, and we felt that the education alone was worth the price.

I feel that they stayed too long doing the estimate. I had very specific ideas on what I wanted done, and they didn't seem to grasp them. They later told me that they didn't want to bid the job, and I feel that they wasted my time.

I EMAILED AN INQUIRY ONE NIGHT, AND BURRELL CALLED ME THE VERY NEXT MORNING, AND CAME OVER WITHIN AN HOUR TO LOOK AT THE SITE, AND MAKE AN ESTIMATE!! IF YOU'VE BEEN TRYING, AND TRYING TO GET RESPONSES, OR BIDS AS I HAVE, YOU REALIZE HOW PHENOMENAL THAT IS. BURRELL WAS SO KIND, AND PATIENT WITH OUR UNCERTAINTIES. MAKING SUGGESTIONS, AND YET ALWAYS LISTENING TO WHAT WE HAD TO SAY. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND RETURNED AN ESTIMATE TO ME THE NEXT DAY, BEFORE OTHER WORKERS HAD EVEN GOTTEN BACK TO ME THE FIRST TIME! HE WAS CLEARLY KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND WE WERE SORRY WE COULD NOT GO WITH THEM.

HE MADE SOME EXCELLENT SUGGESTIONS WE HAD NOT THOUGHT OF, AND WAS HELPFUL IN MAKING SURE WE UNDERSTOOD MAINTENANCE AFTER THE JOB WAS FINISHED. THE RESULT IS NOTHING SHORT OF STUNNING! AND HIS BID WAS ABOUT HALF THE ESTIMATES FROM OTHER TWO OTHER COMPANIES THAT ALSO BID ON THE JOB. THE WORK WAS DONE IN ABOUT 2 WEEKS. THE MEN ARRIVED EARLY, LEFT LATE, AND WORKED CONSTANTLY. THEY ALWAYS WARNED US IF MATERIALS WOULD BE DELIVERED, PARKING IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE MIGHT BE COMPROMISED, ETC. THE OWNER RETURNED SEVERAL TIMES TO WALK THROUGH THE FINAL PROJECT AND TO BE SURE WE WERE SATISFIED, WHICH WE CERTAINLY WERE. FINAL BILL WAS VERY FAIR AND CLOSE TO THE ESTIMATED BID.

THEY ARE GOOD, EXCELLENT. THEY CALLED ON FRIDAY, AND THEY WERE HERE ON MONDAY. PRICES WERE COMPETITIVE. THEY KEPT THE HOUSE CLEAN. THEY DIDN'T LEAVE ANY DEBRIS. I DIDN'T HAVE ANY ISSUES WHEN I GOT HOME. IT WAS REFRESHING TO HAVE SOMEONE TAKE CARE OF ME.
