Fixed the problem quickly, were very polite, and showed me how to fix it myself if it happens again. The leak was caused by a loose washer in the faucet handle.

They arrived and within the hour our new kitchen faucet had been installed efficiently and professionally. Yes, would hire again and recommend MP Plumbing to my friends and family.

Great. He found the metal blocking the disposal and saved me having to install new one. Tightened my faucet in about half a minute. Replaced line and shut off valve to my dishwasher, increasing my water pressure. Showed me how to take toilet fill valve apart to clean out rust so I did not have to call them again.

parts charge is triple what Home Depot charges.Trip charge was also excessive. When it is an emergency repair they have you over a barrel.

I have never written a review for a company. I usually just let it go. I am inspired to write this one. First job was an active leak after hours. They were on top of it with an on-call team. It was expensive as expected after hours. Jordan went above and beyond. When he needed something from the truck - he would run there and back! Cost was $575 and could have been a lot worse. Give this an A on this job. Second job was routine replacement of a frost free hose bib/spigot. I rehired this company because of the previous work done. They started the clock once they start driving to you which, unfortunately sounds common. Ryan seems knowledgeable and is nice. Instead of checking with me about moving a wire he just piped around it so the wire is now trapped in a loop of plumbing. It's high voltage 220 to the stove under the sink. We talked about what it would take to revise. He said a hour. This was not worth it to me nor was haggling about it. Now, the plumbing circuit to the hose bib sticks out 6 1/2 inches and traps the hardwired 220 to the stove. To be fair, it sounds like he could only bring this back about 1 – 2 inches max if you remove the wire. But I have a strong feeling that running at 220 wire through copper piping carrying water is not code. Even if it is, just seem like something you would redo if you found yourself accidentally doing this yourself on your own place. The cost of the work $310 I give this job and D+

Onto me, fast, great work and affordable.

Company answered immediately when called; our water was off for the whole house due to a leak in a supply line inside a wall. We wanted it fixed as soon as possible, so we were quoted the emergency rates, and our job was scheduled for at or after 4:30PM the same day. Thirty minutes after the first call, we got a call back saying one of their technicians was on the way (3 hours ahead of schedule). When the plumber got to the house, he introduced himself and went straight to work. He quickly identified the problem was with a part accessible from outside the wall, replaced the problem part, helped troubleshoot a leak that started when the water was turned back on, and was done. We were not charged the emergency rate, and he apologized profusely that it had taken slightly over an hour so he had to charge for part of the second hour. That didn't bother us at all; cost was still much less than the minimum cost of an emergency call. The plumber was courteous, efficient, and excellent at communicating what he was doing and why. We will call this company with any future plumbing jobs we have. And hopefully they won't be emergencies!

Tyson was great! We needed some last-minute emergency small jobs done before the final sale of our house. He came out the same day (Sunday), quickly assessed the jobs needing attention, and fixed them. The time and price quoted was pretty much right on, and I feel that his work was well worth it. I would absolutely recommend.

great! He showed up on time and did great work. It was also great that I could pay with my credit card right after the work was done. I just wish I would have hired them earlier.

Technician listened to my concerns about each faucet, and he explained what needed to be done to each faucet to get them to work properly and satisfy code purposes. One of the faucets required cutting into an inside wall to access the pipes for the spigot. The technician did a great, clean cut measuring about 10" square in the inside wall, and I could see his work on the pipes in the wall cavity. The cut was very easy for us to patch and paint. The second spigot was easy for him to replace. The third spigot will not be as easy as the technician needs to research the appropriate replacement spigot then return a second time to finish the job. Payment of $360 is only for 2 repaired spigots and does not include work for the 3rd to be repaired.

Gene phoned prior to arrival just as promised. He also arrived within the window of time I was given. It took him about 30 minutes to complete the repair. He also did preventative maintenance on the hot water side as well since both valves are the same age. He even let me know where my water shutoff is located since living in a condo makes it a little confusing. Additionally the price came in just as I was prepared for with the initial quote. Great experience!

I love this company because: someone answers the phone when you call; their plumbers are experienced and knowledgeable; appointments are available in a reasonable time frame; THEIR PRICES ARE SOOOOOO FAIR. Other companies either had no openings for 2 weeks, or their quotes were 3 times MP Plumbing. Used them several times over the years. Always been impressed with their professionalism.

First visit: Ryan came to see what work would be needed. Gave recommendation for water heater as well as 'booster' to provide more hot water. Did not go into crawl space under house to investigate bathtub plumbing needs. Explained steps we needed to take to prepare bathroom and floor for installation. (Total visit: almost an hour.) Second visit: Ryan performed jobs 2 and 3 easily and efficiently. Replaced earthquake straps on water heater; they had not been installed properly 10 years ago. Finally entered crawl space and realized he would need a second person to do plumbing bathtub hookup from below and above floor at same time. Arranged for a 3rd visit with an apprentice a week later. Third visit: Ryan and helper cut waste line and installed branch line to new tub location, plus install new water supply lines for tub as well as hook up tub to new branch line. Worked efficiently and thoroughly. [NOT MP Plumbing's fault: hose bib had hidden damage which began leaking a few days later; Seth called and explained function and design of hose bib, but when he was informed that it was still dripping at end of explanation, he immediately said something was wrong and he'd be by in 20 minutes. Arrived quickly (forth visit), removed part and discovered mis-manufactured part. Replaced immediately, and made note that it was too soon to have been our fault so there would be no charge for the part or the visit.] Ryan, Seth and apprentice were all very friendly; they took the time to make sure we understood what they would be doing (and in some instances why). They worked well and efficiently and were very careful and considerate of our space. Easy to talk to and we never felt they were talking down to us; when they used in-house 'lingo', they made sure we knew what was meant. Overall a very pleasant experience. While we had been told on the phone when we made the initial appointment that the first visit was a chargeable service call, Ryan discounted that first visit as he had not discovered the need for a second person and thus he had to come for the third visit with the apprentice. We felt that we were treated exceedingly fairly in those circumstances. Total cost includes water heater, booster and plumbing fittings.
