They are lovely people to work with. The price is not outrageous; we have done quite a bit so they did some extra things for us which was very generous. We've had a couple of things go wrong and they come out and check without charging.

I called on a Tuesday asking for some work to be done by the end of the week. I was glad they were able to squeeze me in that Friday. They told me the cost was $120 per hour for a three-person crew. We agreed they would do half an hour ($60) and I would let them know what the priorities were in case they couldn't fit it all in. The work was good quality and I was happy with the result. The boxwoods turned out better than I had expected. However, I was surprised to receive an invoice the following week for $70. When I called, the person I spoke with was dismissive. I explained that I had made clear to both the person I spoke with on the phone and to the crew leader that I wanted to keep the time to 30 minutes. Her response was basically a "well, that happens", which I didn't find terribly helpful. I suggested that I would have felt much better had the crew leader just come and said "hey, we're at 30 minutes but could finish this up in five more if you'd like". It wasn't as much the $10 that mattered to me, though. It was that no one checked in with me before extending beyond what I had agreed to pay. The response when I called about the issue was apathetic, which really turned me off.

We had already known where the leak was but they came out and fixed it. Our plumber referred us to them. They came out within a week and we worked around my schedule. He explained what he was doing. I also had hi winterize our sprinkler system. They will be back in the Spring to do some other maintenance.

I have been totally satisfied with their work. I did then sign up for a monthly contract. They have done a great job with my yard work. The sales staff was very agreeable.

I had a really good experience with them. They came out and gave me an estimate and a couple weeks later they came out and did the work. They were very respectful about being in my yard and were very professional about cleaning up their mess.

The work was fine. They were on time, they did exactly what they said they were going to do, and they stuck to the price they quoted me.

Did a great job! They were responsive, on time, and did everything that was asked.

I contacted the company via email to get my overgrown lawn mowed. A few days later I got a call explaining their charges. I called back agreeing to have the work done and asked to have it scheduled. Almost a week later the work had not been done. I called in the morning and was told that they would look into it and call me back. I received a call back 7 hours later. I was left a message that they were now too overbooked to do my job and would have one of their employees contact me to do the work on the side. I was very upset that a week later I was just finding out that they could not do my job. If I had wanted an individual to do my job I would have called a teenager to do it. I called a business for the protection of their insurance. I will be contacting another company to do my work.

Prompt call back for estimate. They were very reasonable in the time period before they could start the project. Work crew was easy to work with. They started at 8:30am and were done the same day at 2:30pm. Did an excellent job of cleaning up after the job was done. Followup calls have been very helpful regarding watering, mowing and fertilizing in the future. Would highly recommend this company.

Don Farrally's crew did a very good job. They followed my instructions to the last detail.

I received a bid in April; not the lowest bid or the highest. After 1 week the crew boss left to work for another company, and was never replaced. Crew usually arrived between 8:30 and 9:00am. Crew lacked direction, so the quality of the work was good but slow. They broke a chunk of concrete off my entryway. I had difficulty getting LBD to fix the damage, but they eventually agreed to pay for the materials to fix it. Responsiveness was 100% until we started to run into problems, then it went to about 60%. Time estimated to complete this project was 1 week. Some days were missed due to rain, some days missed were sunny, sometimes they were elsewhere. It took 8 weeks to get everything finished (including negotiations as to who would fix the entry). In the end, Don wanted to make everything right although he believes this job was very underbid. Would I hire LBD again? No. But I don't think they want to work for me again anyway. Ultimately, the yard looks good. All matters are resolved.

I appreciated Don's punctuality, reliability, and willingness to meet with me. Don listened to my ideas on what I wanted done and offered excellent suggestions. His crew did a great job on cleaning up our yard; pruning fruit and large pine trees, trimming laurel hedges and removing unwanted shrubs and ivy. They took all debris with them, and the yard looked great after they were done. I would hire Don and his crew again for landscaping projects.

The entire project took just over three weeks. Don called everyday to ensure the project was proceeding to my expectations and was onsite at least 90% of the days to discuss progress and make any minor tweaks. The end result was far better than my expectations and exactly on the amount that he quoted. We were so pleased with the work that LBD performed that we offered to be a reference for them - and we fully expect to work with them in the future. I can honestly say that Don's top priority was quality and customer satisfaction.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM. I LIKE THE FINISHED PRODUCT. THE GUYS WHO WERE WORKING ON IT WERE REALLY PROFESSIONAL AND HARD WORKERS. I FOUND OUT ABOUT THEM WHEN MY NEIGHBOR WAS HAVING HIS LAWN REDONE. I DIDN'T TALK TO MY NEIGHBOR ABOUT IT. I JUST SAW THEM WORKING AND DECIDED TO GO WITH THEM.
