Super friendly and professional. I dropped off two McIntosh speakers that needed to be re-foamed. Staff treated me with respect, and helped me load and unload some very heavy speakers from my car to their shop. They charged me a $50 diagnostic fee, called me with the repair cost, and I picked up within a week. I am quite pleased with their work and I'd be happy to give them my future business.

I had had this at two other places......and neither wanted to (or could) fix it. So I looked deeper on Al and found them. I had dealt with them years before with turntable issue and they were great then, as now. Called like they said and gave me an estimate, which was very reasonable. Completely satisfied!!

I took in an old Yamaha electonic keyboard that was not getting power. I suspected a faulty power switch since I had just the same day received in the mail a power supply cord and transformer that was advertised on Amazon as compatible with my model number. At the reception desk the technician there tested the new power cord and found it faulty. He connected a proper power supply and the instrument immediately started.

They knew what they were doing, and when my problem was small, they just helped me for free. I would trust them to do the right thing.

I have used Inner sound to repair multiple amps and every time it has been a great experience. I would recommend Inner Sound based on their great customer service and quality of work. One of the reasons I will go back to Inner sound is because they stayed open past closing time so that I could pick up my equipment. Inner Sound is on my A list!

Not ready when promised. Idler wheel stopped functioning shortly after the 90 day warranty expired. Had it repaired again and charged again for the repair ( $95/repair). When I mentioned the cost seemed high, they said replacement of the wheel was labor intensive. I have since found that the part can be installed by the average person (http://www.eslabs.com/idler.htm). The second replacement by Inner Sound stopped working after 7 months.

I dropped off an amplifier for repair and pre-amp (for cleaning). The amplifier had lost a channel and I waited for a quote to repair. I had to initiate a couple of phone calls and was not impressed with the follow through. Essentially, parts for the amplifier are no longer available, but the unit could have been shipped back to the factory for a rebuild. It took Inner Sound three weeks to get this information and communicate it back to me. Moreover, they charged me $50.00 just to diagnose and tell me that the unit would have to be sent back to the factory for repair.

It appears at this time that they repaired the unit. This Nakamichi is 20 years old and the company is no longer in business, thus parts are hard to come by. It seems they were able to diagnose the problem and fix it in less than a week.
