Lovely. It doesn't need to be immediately replaced like the Clean Energy Works of Oregon (CEWO) auditors insisted. And unlike CEWO, he also said when it is time, he'd do the recycled blown-in insulation, not the evil pink stuff that CEWO auditors recommended. It's nice to have a GC who will tell you when you DON'T need something right away. That's someone I can trust, so when it IS time, he has my business.

Craig did a fantastic job replacing my old ugly 1925 windows in my basement with two pretty sliders along with a great new slider window for my strange closet window. Friendly, efficient, punctual, and great quality work. I've hired him to replace my final three windows and will have him quote out other work as well, because of this great first job I had with him. He came referred by a friend who also had a great experience with Craig. I also like that he knows what he's good at and what he should refer to others, good deal.Proof positive you don't have to be a jerk to give customers a great price and great quality (Pella's rep was the WORST!). Yay for Craig!

I wanted to give a great review to Go-Green Construction and Remodeling. Last Thursday, after 5pm, 50' of my wooden good -neighbor fence was blown over onto my flower garden and lawn. I tried to pick it up and prop it up with some shovels, but was unable to do so. I called and left a message for Go-Green and asked if they could call the next morning, since it was after hours. I received a call from Craig Kerr the next morning...I asked when he could come out and he said not until Wednesday of the following week. I explained to him that I was a widow and tried to prop up the fence, but couldn't and that the fence was on my flower garden and my lawn and if he couldn't come out sooner than that, would he be willing to give me the name of someone he thought might be able to come sooner. He heard the panic in my voice and said that he should hopefully be done with the current job he was doing that day by 3:00 or so and he would call to see if I still needed someone. He finished early with the job he had scheduled for the day and true-to-his word, called me around 2:15 or so-he came right over. He took apart each section of the fence and laid them on a patio for me-he made it all look so easy. I then asked if he would give me an estimate to replace the posts and put the fence back up, and in addition, there were 3 other posts on a different part of the fence that also needed replacing and I had a mail box at the end of my road that was broken and needed to be taken off the post and a new one installed...(again, I had tried to get it off the post and could not and I already had the new mail box). He said he had a little bit of time left and would be happy to take off the old mail box and put on the new one. Once more, he made it look so easy and did it in a matter of minutes! He said he would get back to me with the estimates for the fence repairs the first of the week (it was Friday afternoon). I asked if he could give me the estimate with using new boards also and then using the existing boards. He got the estimates to me Monday morning...I went over them with my neighbor that evening (they offered to pay for half of the cost of the repairs). I heard from them later that day and she had spoke with her father, who lives in Southern Oregon about the fence situation and he volunteered to drive up on two weekends and do the work. I sent an e-mail to Craig and let him know this, but told him I had given his name to two other neighbors and between the three of us, I am sure he will get some work pretty soon. I did send him a small check in the mail for the work he had done, although he did not ask for any money...but I felt that since he didn't get the job for the fence, that I could at least pay him something for the time he was here. He is probably one of the kindest, gentlest, professional contractors I have ever met and I would recommend him as an A+ in every aspect. He just racked up a great deal of good karma, and I guess I must have had some coming to have had the pleasure of working with Craig. Thank goodness chivalry is alive and well! Thank you!

I was very impressed with the owner's commitment to preserving resources. They carefully examined the fence and determined what actually needed to be replaced, and performed the work in a very efficient and meticulous manner. The estimate was very reasonable and matched the final bill. Cleanup was very thorough, and they were very careful around my plants in my yard. I so appreciated this company's integrous and professional manner. I highly recommend their services.

These guys are great. They really care and are always a pleasure to work with. They seem to take real pride in the work they do and are good at coming up with solutions. And If any problems come up, they are good about correcting them. I highly recommend them !

We had a few false starts as we went on vacation and then he went on vacation which was ok with us as we weren't in a big hurry. He started when he said he would and had several guys helping him. We had wanted the fencing to go down to the ground as we have dogs that will dig. He suggested that we pin the fence to the ground in several places which was a good idea for us. After the job was done we had a few things that needed some extra attention. For example we wanted an extra fence post at the back of the property and we needed the fencing to be a bit tighter around a culvert. He came back and did it the following week and was very attentive to our needs. We would recommend him to friends.

This was a wonderful experience. Craig was always on time from coming to make his bid to following up on the work. He adjusted his schedule to accommodate our needs and still finished on schedule. If you need a fence, call Craig. You won't be sorry.

We have hired Craig / Go Green for two different fencing projects now. We have nothing but great things to say about the company and their work. He was patient with us when we hadn't worked out all of the details of the project as we were getting started, helped provide us with options to choose from, and was extremely flexible when we ended up asking for some slightly unorthodox design / materials modifications to our fence. We did a fair amount of shopping around before we chose him for our first fence project. His estimate was competitive with any of the others that we received, and significantly lower than (almost 50% off) some of the highest estimates that we got from other companies. He was friendly, timely, easy to work with, and delivered exactly what he said he would, when he said he would. It was a no-brainer to hire him for our second fence project and we will definitely look to him first when we have other projects in the future.

Excellent! I plan to use Go Green for both large scale remodel jobs as well other handy man type things. They were professional, honest and as hard working as one could ask for. The work was all very high quality.

The job was not difficult, we just wanted to have a 6ft black chain link fence with single gate. All posts to be concrete. He came the week before Thanksgiving and planted the posts. The Monday after he completed the fence and it looks great. I am pleased we choose black, as it is much less noticeable. We have woods behind us and did not want a cedar fence we could not look through.

When I was obtaining bids for rebuilding the large cedar fence around my property, Craig Kerr was the only contractor who felt confident about reusing the cedar boards. We agreed that the boards were still in good enough shape to last some years longer, and I didn't want to add useful material to a landfill. Craig started as scheduled (despite the rain) and did a first-rate job. His work is meticulous--equally sturdy and attractive. He followed my specifications for changing the look of the fence and he also altered two gates. He cleaned up the work area and gave me tips about cleaning and staining my now-beautiful fence. I am so pleased with his work that I have asked him to bid on another project.

Everything was great, they worked with us and I thought the price was fair.

They seem like a great company, however their estimate was about $300.00 higher than the other estimate we received. They came out right on time for our appointment, they were very prompt and professional.

I called for an estimate, Craig came out looked at the job, sent me an email detailing the work to be accomplished and cost to complete it. I emailed him back with a good time frame for me to have him start, he put me on his calender. He came on the day we agreed to and on time. It was a small job but nevertheless he did exactly what he said he was going to do to fix the fence. He replaced the fence post, put in concrete footing, reassembled the fence and replaced the latttice top. I am very pleased with the work and the company, I would recommend Go Green Remodeling and Construction to anyone.

When I read that federal energy tax credits of up to $1,500 were available for 2009-10 (30% of the cost of each job), I decided that this was the year to upgrade my attic insulation. I'd hired Craig to repair a leaning fence earlier in the year and was so happy with his work that I contacted him to see if he did insulation as well. He informed me that he was certified by the Oregon Energy Trust and that if he brought my attic insulation up to their standards that I'd receive money back from them as well. I only had about 3-4 inches of insulation, and he brought it up to 12 with fiberglass batts. Because I had some old wiring in the attic it required an electrical inspection and then Craig had to build baffles around all the ceiling fixtures. He also sealed the top of the front wall with wood where air was flowing in through the front porch gable and right into the wall. Not wanting to be disruptive by dragging all that insulation through the house and up the attic access in my stairwell, he removed a gable vent on the front of the house to gain access. To meet the energy trust standards he also properly vented my bath fan through the roof, added additional roof vents, and cheerfully installed a solar attic fan that I'd purchased. Then he replaced my ratty old gable vent with a new one I'd purchased. He came back on a Saturday while I was on vacation just to do some touch-up painting on the new vent to make it look nicer. About a month after the job was complete I received a check for $235 from the Oregon Energy Trust and can report that my house has been much cooler than last year. I have a heat pump but it used to have to work hard to keep the house cool in the summer. Now it only kicks on once the temps outside reach well over 80 degrees. My first electric bill after the installation was $20 lower than the month before even though it was a hotter month. And during our record breaking heat last week, we stayed nice and cool!

Craig looked at my painting project and gave me a very good idea on the cost. I had requested if possible, that I needed to start the project as soon as possible. Craig, looked at his scheduled and let me know that he would be able to work one day that week, and finish the project early the next week. The entire project was finished within one week. Craig and I agreed on a time to meet at the townhouse, and he was there right on time every single day. As he painted, he gave me ideas on other repair issues that I was having at the townhouse. For example, one of the tenant had a cat leaving a bad odor in one of the closet. Craig gave me ideas on how to eliminate that particular cat odor. Craig is very helpful, supportive and competent, these are just some of the qualities that I feel represent Craig. In the future, my first call will be to Craig for his help on my projects. I?m extremely satisfied with Craig?s work and would highly recommend him for anyone?s in need of remodeling.

The fence on my retaining wall was leaning precariously from last winter's winds. Craig pulled out the three loose posts and dug much deeper, installing new 12 ft posts and setting them in a fair amount of concrete. I don't think I'll ever have to worry about this fence blowing over again! He salvaged the rest of the fencing material and had to reinstall some rather involved louvers that were a decorative item running along the top of the fence. Craig was very pleasant and hard working. I appreciated that he reused as much of my existing materials as possible, so that fewer items will go to the landfill. I look forward to hiring him again.
