Giron Roofing was quick to respond and highly professional. They made every effort to accommodate our needs and requests. The actual project was done in less than 48 hours. The clean-up process was not explained exactly and there was a bit of miss communication involving this, but it was quickly resolved and taken care of. Also an apparent mis-hap occurred with something landing on a pop-up tent and causing a hole which Giron took immediate responsibility for and replaced the item with a brand new one. Definitely would recommend Giron! Best prices within 100 mile radius.

It went well. The crew was on time and worked very late the first day. The second day they finished in the afternoon. They worked very hard both days and that brings up a minor complaint: Because I am in a wheelchair, I needed to be able to take our three dogs out to the side yard for bathroom calls. Because the asphalt dust from removals was on the driveway, on a partially laid out tarp, each time I took the dogs out I got dust on my wheels. Each time I had to spend a half an hour cleaning my wheels before I could come back in the house which was difficult for me. The crew was to have cleaned the back yard and locked the cate, but didn't until the end of work. I was told by the team supervisor two times without it happening. I realize the crew is working to complete the job but maybe a little thought to the home owner that is handicapped would be helpful.

Giron Roofing struck me as the gold standard of how to run a business and deliver customer service. They are true professionals. From the signing of the contract for services, to the timely arrival and clean work practices, to the communication about issues encountered, I was impressed from beginning to end. When it's time to replace our roof, I"m definitely going back to these guys.

It was a great experience with this company. They did a really nice job on my roof. They were very fast and our tri-story house was completed in 1.5 days. The roof looks great and they cleaned up super nicely after the job was completed. We appreciate their great job.

Outstanding. Actually found problem areas which were photographed for approval and fixed. We added some vents and skylights as we went along with out a hitch. Would recommend Giron to anyone. They also gave us the roofing 101 talk before they started and it turned out to be really important when we looked at other bidder and during the project.

Our experience with Giron Roofing has shown them to be very knowledgeable and customer service oriented. From the initial inspection to job completion, the crew was punctual, professional, and courteous. The price was fair and our roof looks great. Three years has passed. We called Giron to see if they had someone available to blow pine needles off of the roof. They were able to accommodate us the next day and Benny Giron arrived right on time. Aside from being very personable, he did an excellent job cleaning the roof and went the extra mile fixing a few problems he discovered as a result of our improper maintenance related to pine needles, maple leaves and our gutter system. He also pointed out potential problem areas to keep an eye on due to our trees and gave us tips on maintenance. We are so happy with the service and knowledge provided by Benny who is a great asset to the company!

The team at Giron Roofing was great. Their sales rep Roger LeClair was very friendly and detailed with our options and what to expect. Everyone at Giron was great at calling me to let me know the next step in the process and what to expect. The install team was very efficient and clean up was excellent. The removal and installation took 2 days as they said it would. The final roof looks great.

Our roof had sprung a leak. :-( Jose arrived on time, clearly explained his proposal, and we accepted his bid over other companies. Replace the roof, take down a chimney to the roof level, and add baffling to help ventilate our upstairs. The crew arrived as soon as our Portland weather allowed (it was a January job) and worked all day every day to give us a beautiful new roof. If I had a question Armando was quick to give me an answer. They were recommended by two neighbors and I have already recommended them to friends who are considering a new roof.

From our experience with Giron Roofing -- this is a great company with expertise and integrity! They provided us with a roof replacement experience that was transparent, detailed, and focused on quality craftsmanship. They clearly communicated options, expectations, timeline and progress from the first meeting with Jose throughout each day that the crew was working. There was a clear chain of command from the top of the company down to the great crew who were actually on the roof. They were respectful, focused, disciplined, and worked a long, full day. There were three different individuals checking in during the project to ensure safety and high quality work. On the last day during his inspection the foreman insisted one of the valleys be redone because of the company's high standard of aesthetic. The valley would have functioned fine. We are so pleased with our experience with Giron Roofing. Our roof and the four new skylights look beautiful.

Our house is an older house in North East Portland, three stories, steep roof and limited access. The Giron team did an excellent job in protecting the landscaping and plants, and did a thorough clean up of our's and the adjacent yards. The guys worked quickly, but maintained high quality. A few minor details were identified in the walkthrough, and they were addressed within a day. Giron's price was in the middle of the four bids we received, but they displayed the most thorough approach to the estimate, and took great care even in the initial inspection. Overall, a very satisfying result for a significant project.

I met with 3 roofing companies before deciding on Giron. I liked their no pressure approach to giving me a bid. They didn’t act like a car salesman, which the other 3 did. This is what we do and this is the price. My kind of people. The price was lower than 2 of the other 3, but it seemed about what it should cost. The lower bid was actually the highest and the salesman kept lowering the price when I said no. Excellent work and really fast. I recommended them to my surrounding neighbors and they used them as well.

We had Giron Roofing replace a roof on a rental building in 2017. When our home developed a roof leak in December of 2018, we knew who to call. The owner of the company came out, correctly diagnosed the probable cause of the leak, a damaged vent. He gave us several options, from a patch to a complete new roof. We choose a complete tear off and new roof, but worried because December and Portland, Oregon = rain. Giron fit us not only into their schedule, but with the weather forecast too. It was stressful but Giron works to have good communication. The job foreman checks in with you, and you have his cell number to call with questions. Any issues are quickly resolved. We needed to have several boards of the house siding replaced. They shattered during removal for the new flashing. After the roofing was completed, another crew showed up to replace the siding boards. Replacing a 3rd story roof is a messy job. Shingles and roofing paper fall all over. The crew did a thorough clean up. No nails, staples or shingles were left. The house planting wasn't damaged. Giron also rehung the existing gutter so that it drained correctly. I recommend Giron Roofing if you need a new roof.

We met with Jose and he was very instrumental in helping us decide to go with him, to use Malarkey products (had never heard of them) as they are a local company, that makes excellent product, with an excellent warranty, geared for the Pacific NW (we get a bit of rain, moss and wind here). The product Vista AR is rated for like 110 MPH winds and has a lifetime warranty, which replacement kind of degrades at a 1/480th per month over time (so like a 40 year warrant). This is phenomenal as most shingles and roofs in the Northwest are lucky to get 10-15 years. My wife and I decided this is our "last roof" of our lifetime (we'll see, but living in the same place for another 40 years puts me at 95, I don't think so, so we went with the best) It wasn't a cheap job, and I won't quote the number of square we laid down, but I assume (based on another roof we did on a rental house) that I may have saved 6K going and shopping around. I had a good feeling about Giron, based on reviews, and Jose's approach to informing us and working with our time schedule (we had to move the team out a week, and they were accommodating as we had personal matters happening the Monday the crew was to arrive for tearoff that confliced). Once the job was complete, I had a few nits that needed correcting with some flashing, drip edge and the venting. Some were easy, moving the venting from mid roof to the edge (against their recommendation) was a full day of extra work. Giron, responded, gave great service and the roof looks great, the way we envisioned and of course, we sleep at night knowing its pouring outside for Nov, Dec, January, .... and we have the top-side of our buildings tight-and-right. You may shop, you may find better pricing, but for value, which I define as Service (first), Quality second, and guarantee a distant third. I valued Giron's service, crew responsiveness, and Jose being there after the sale to follow up, and make changes as needed to give 100% satisfaction. In a world where we deal with vendors every day (we manage and run investment property), we know a good vendor when we encounter them, and they usually are worth the price you pay. Having tried to skimp, or find the lowest price vendor, we know you get what you pay for.

Job went great, timely and beyond what we expected. Very easy to work with & we are very pleased with the final outcome!

I do not write many reviews. I have high standards and am often disappointed by service providers. I was delighted with Giron, which I can say about so few people. They started when they said they could start, they came early everyday and stayed until long past dark, there were no days when they didn't have workers in the roof and the completed the roof quickly. They were on budget. They cleaned up after themselves everyday and then again at the end of the job. The crew was respectful and courteous. They did exactly what they said they would do. They were very organized, and very safety conscious. There were no surprises. I would use them again in a heartbeat and I recommend them without reservation.

GREAT! LESTER DIAGNOSED IT AND TURNED UP TO DIRECT THE CREW IN THE WORK. IT ALL CAME TOGETHER FAST AND COMPLETE. LESTER STYED IN TOUCH WITH ME THROUGHOUT AND AFTER THE JOB. REALLY GREAT COMPANY.

I highly recommend Giron Roofing from start to finish! We received a detailed and thorough bid from Roger one day after we called. Everything went as was described AND the work was done earlier than we had estimated based on weather and other factors. The roofing crew was very efficient, professional, and hard working. Two of them stayed into the dark on the first day in order to finish the underlayment on top of the plywood as rain was expected that night. I really appreciated that! The work and cleanup was excellent and the job was finished in the time frame we were told (3 days). We like that they use Malarckey Roofing Products, a Portland company since 1956. We are very pleased with our new roof and would hire them again.

Giron Roofing did a great job. Not only did I get a beautiful roof but they were willing to remove the chimney, replace and paint new barge boards and replace vent duct work. It was so convenient not to have to make arrangements with other companies for those items. Communication was super. They were always available to answer my many questions. Even one of the co-owners called in response to my concerns. They completed the job in just a few days. I highly recommend this reliable group of workers.

Their representative was very prompt in contacting us and presenting a bid. The bid was very reasonable. Once we signed the contract, the work was completed within three weeks. The workers arrived on time and as each day ended, they cleaned up any roofing materials that escaped their tarps. We were pleased with the overall work and process.
