G was EXTREMELY reliable. He showed up on time for the estimate & had it in my inbox in email that same afternoon. Got 3 bids & his was the best. Told him we'd be hiring him for the walkway & he had guys onsite the next day to get the form set. It became a waiting game w/ mother nature, but as soon as there was a break in the rain & they were able to get the concrete poured, they were here. They were very efficient & did great work. Cleaned up everything. G followed up after the job was completed to make sure we were happy. I HIGHLY recommend his company. He was extremely professional & reliable.

They were really good. I was there working on the project so I was able to supervise some of the activity of their foreman. G was there supervising and helping at times. I can?t say I have any complaints.

G's Concrete was a recommendation from my contractor. And it was a great recommendation. Price was more than fair, work was done in only two days!! It looks great, no damage to my house, area was kept clean. I had a couple of concerns after the job was done and members of G's team were out promptly to address. I could not have been happier!!

I was completely satisfied with Gerardo and his crew on this project. The work was done over two days and Gerardo was prompt, understanding and knowledgeable throughout both the bidding and the construction process. Through his suggestions, you could tell that he was well experienced and knew what he was doing. He even went beyond what was asked, making a few alterations that involved a little more time and work, making the end result even better. Gerardo showed up on time with a full crew and they got right down to work. The crew was nice, efficient and respectful of the property. Gerardo was able to leave at times to take care of other business and he assured me that his crew knew what they were doing and he was right. I thought it would be kind of a hassle to work under the air conditioner which was raised only about a foot off the ground and definitely it made that part of the job more difficult but it was all handled in stride. During the pour I talked to the driver of the concrete truck. He told me that he had worked with this crew many times and he said they were excellent. To match the existing driveway I needed have exposed aggregate which is a bit more difficult and time consuming. The finished product looked great. In fact, it actually looked a lot better than the original driveway as far as the quality of the finish goes. I wish they had been there years ago when that was poured. Anyway, all things considered, I was quite happy with the entire process and, from my experience, would heartily recommend Gerardo and his crew to anyone seeking this type work.

It went great! Gerrardo helped in the planning by letting us know our options. They did a thorough job with lots of rebar and even replaced our water meter surrounds and ran pipe under the driveway for lights in the future. It looks great and we are very happy. Our neighbors are also very pleased with the results.

I was very impressed with the professional work they completed and would recommend them to anyone. The bid included a 10% discount for Angie's List clients (which he gave me without any request/reminder on my part).

Gerardo was very responsive, came out on a Saturday to look at the site and provided a very competitive quote. The crew arrived on time and poured the entire concrete sidewalk in one day. We would hire them again.

They were fine, but I did not use them. Their estimate was more expensive than that of the others.

I found Gerardo in Angie's list. He was one of 3 contractors to do an estimate on the concrete part of my garage project (I am converting my double-car garage into an apartment). Gerardo was the only one who actually sent me an estimate. I am a landlord and have worked quite a bit with contractors so when Gerardo explained what he was going to do and answered my questions I was fairly confident that he was capable. Gerardo said he could start with a week's notice so as soon as the plumbers had roughed in the plumbing I called Gerardo. He started 3 days later. It was pouring down rain and the area was mucky but Gerardo's crew removed a lot of dirt and debris with a bobcat then prepped the garage for pouring. For much of the time, I stood outside in the rain watching them because it is not often that I see a crew working where each one knows what needs to be done and anticipates the next step. It was a small and awkward area to work in but no one got in another's way. The entire job was completed in about 24 hours, and this included an inspection. Gerardo's crew cleaned up the area nicely. Additionally, when my contractor asked for a small modification to the footing, Gerardo came personally and did it at no charge. The contractor is now using Gerardo for for another job of his.

It was all fabulous! First of all, Gerardo was able to call me back within 24 hours when I made the original call. He came over and walked through everything with me, giving me a sense that he would be perfect for the job. He was one of two estimates that we got, and his amount came in under the others. We knew exactly what we wanted and he was amazing at listening and then adapting to our thoughts and goals. When we decided to go with G's Concrete, I called and asked about timing based on a number of scheduling issues that were coming up on our end (vacations, birthday party, etc.). Gerardo completely re-arranged his schedule and was over the next day! They finished everything -- from digging to pouring in two days, and were back two days later to take out the forms. It was PURE MAGIC for us. I made notes throughout these days about this crew, because everything was so wonderful about our experience. 1. They were super professional 2. They always called to communicate about when they were coming, when they were pouring concrete, etc. 3. They did everything to not mess up the grass too much around where they were pouring cement (used boards to walk around, etc.) 4. They were SUPER percise, I saw them get down on their hands and knees to make sure everything looked straight a number of times and adjust things if it were even a cm. They measured many times along the way, double and triple checking -- I completely trusted their measurements and skills. 5. They cleaned up quickly and well and were totally respectful of the surrounding neighborhood. 6. I had to leave the house a few times while they were doing the work and completely trusted that everything would be fine. Ultimately, our end product was EXACTLY what we were looking for and we feel so lucky. (Side note: We poured in the dirt between the pavers after they took out the forms, that wasn't a part of G's scope, though I don't doubt they could do that as well)

Gerardo arrived the same day to review the project and give me a bid. The bid was sent 2 days later, and I accepted. The work was completed 1-week later, actually a day ahead of the promised date. Gerardo was very responsive to my requests. The quality of the work was excellent, level and square, and well finished.

The city gave us a notice to fix our sidewalk in a couple of places, G came out and did the estimate. Not only did he give us the lowest bid but, then we got 10% off from angies list. The work was very professional and was performed quickly. I would definately suggest using this company in the future.

Went very well. Geraldo Herrera (G) was smart and personable. Gave us a great bid and did what he said he was going to do. The only thing is that he left concrete s*** on the property at the end of the job in two places. Not a big item. But I do have to break it up and haul it away.

Our family is extremely pleased by the work provided by Gerardo and G's Concrete. We needed several concrete slabs poured as well as a sidewalk fix and asked Gerardo to bid. We hadn't thought we could have all the work done at once, but the bid was so reasonable we just went ahead with the full slate of projects. Gerardo was out to give an estimate within a couple of days of contacting him, and his crew was available to start within the week. The crew was courteous, efficient, and respectful of our space. Gerardo was frequently in touch with us to field questions, and see how things were going from our perspective. We frequently saw him on site, doing work himself, or inspecting the work of his crew. When I mentioned a water drainage problem we were having, Gerardo offered to install a drain and drainage pipe - and never charged us!...I really appreciate any business with such dedication to getting it right - and at such a reasonable price!

Gerardo was super responsive and the consummate professional. This was a challenging job in that the customer (me) had special requirements. I wanted a slab in the barn that could serve a dual purpose, both as a shop/garage, and also revert to its original intent as a horse barn. This meant special consideration given to grading concerns for water egress and surface texture and strengthening the main entry point to accommodate heavy vehicles. Gerardo's knowledge and experience helped us quickly work up the best plan and I am very pleased with the result. Not only was the site prep done well but they somehow managed to keep from splattering concrete on a lot of exposed wood in the barn that they had to pour right up against, something that I would have made a total mess of myself. Could not be happier with my G's Concrete experience.

The garage floor was poured first and it looked great so we hired Gerardo for the other two projects. He and his crew were great to work with. G provided suggestions for the design. The final product looks wonderful.

So far they have done a really good job. I am really happy with them. I will be having them out to do more work. Very easy to talk to and work with.

"G" never showed up for our appointment to give the bid/estimate. When I called an hour later, there was no answer. He never even called back to cancel or reschedule. Just didn't show up. Very disappointed!

We had gotten several estimates for this work- the costs were between $6000 and $9000 for the space we wanted covered. Gerardo and his crew did most of the area for $3000. Everything looks great- very professional. They came on a Friday afternoon, put in forms, poured Saturday morning, and came back the next week to remove the forms. One of the most rewarding projects I have had- no snags or disappointments. Gerardo also did my daughter's exposed aggregate patio- it is beautiful.
