Description of Work: Our furnance stop working correctly right after they left and they denied that they had anything to do with it. They wouldn't even spit the cost of the $330 bill it cost us to fix, even after we paid them over $500 to clean our air ducts!

+ -1 moreThey were good. The duct work was cleaned very well. It was sanitized. They came in on time and completed there work on time. They got two dead animal bodies out of the duct work.

+ 0 moreOverall, the process was smooth and the work was performed as promised. Gary came out to give me a bid and explained to me what to expect. Because we had such a large system, he said to expect the process to be 8 to 10 hours long. The work crew showed up on time and was finished in 8 hours. They were very clean and were conscious of keeping things neat as they worked. Even though the total cost was much higher than expected, I feel I got my money's worth.
Description of Work: Cleaning of two furnace units and all registers and cold air returns.

+ -1 moreThis company did a fantastic job! The technicians were on time and very courteous and respectful. We have never had this done in any of our homes and we have not had to dust in a week! Before they came we needed to dust every other day. The air in our home smells incredibly clean! As far as we are concerned it would have been worth paying twice as much!

+ -1 moreI was very pleased overall and would highly recommend Gary Fields and his Ductbusters / RapidVac company. They were polite, seemed through, were patient with my questions and afterwards Gary called me to get feedback about the cleaning. After seeing what was done, the cost was reasonable and should serve us well for several years.
Description of Work: We had our ducts cleaned by another company and paid $282 a month before finding Ductbusters on Sunnyside Road just outside of Clackamas. We had a musty smell coming from our ducts and wanted an expert to clean them. We found Gary Fields with a VSMR, ASCS, and CVI certification by EPA which means at least he has had specialized training. We had Gary and his team video the return air duct which looked very dirty. After it was cleaned and videod again, I could really see the difference. The entire job took 8 hours for 2 people, reflected in the cost but so much more worth it than standard duct cleaning. This is a summary of what was done. After videotaping, each duct was cleaned under negative pressure using soft rotating brush with a vacuum. The rotating brush was put in the duct again and a bacteriostatic chemical put in to help prevent further growth of bacteria or mold. The workers even went under the house and in the attic to check the ducts. Quite through.
