DREAMSCAPE

We picked Dreamscape based on their Angie s List reviews, but unfortunately, our experience bore zero resemblance to past reports. Workmanship was poor, oversight non-existent, project management was passed off between 3 different people and ultimately to no one at all. Ignored our plans, made the patio the wrong shape, and at one point told me, "Nothing you put on paper means anything to our crew." We told them repeatedly, "The only thing we care about is water management", so they built build a soaker trench 1/3 the size it needed to be. None of the managers even saw the finished work until we forced them to come back. Called me a "Expletive", screened my wife s calls, and hung up on us both. They crashed into her car without apologizing. Showed up at my office demanding payment for a job not done to our satisfaction, then offered us a 0.9% discount. As things turned ugly, they actually sent us a document saying they would complete the work only if we didn t submit any bad reviews!

I received 4 estimates for retaining walls I needed built. Dreamscape came in as our 2nd choice, mainly because the firm that got the job had referrals from friends of ours. However, we were very impressed with the professionalism of both Laura who represents Dreamscape over the phone and Leroy who is the owner and who personally came out to look at the prospective job. Both Laura and Leroy were polite, responsive to follow up questions and very prompt with formulating a well thought out bid.

Excellent performance, punctual, and responsible. For all the work completed in two day, I thought the price for the job was very reasonable. The four workers seemed to work in a very safe atmosphere. I will have future work done by the company. They also do all sorts of ground work, excavating, concrete, stone, and tree work. One of the large work trucks damaged a yard light post going through our narrow winding driveway. Two days after the job was complete, they had purchased a new light post, poured a new concrete pad, and reinstalled the light. Extremely quick on returning the damage to normal. That is a good indication of their customer care. No questions asked, they just fixed it. Great job.

When I called, the company representative came right out to look at the work and give me an estimate. I received a proposal two days later and work was started the next day. The work crew showed up on time for the two days it took to complete the work. Workmen were very careful of the existing plants in my garden and cleaned up very nicely after the work was completed. The results exceeded my expectations, and I now have a nice looking area in my back yard where I previously had quite an eyesore.

OUR RETAINING WALLS ARE BEAUTIFUL. WE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH THE RESULTS. THE GARDEN AREA IS WONDERFUL. THE WORKERS WERE LIKE FAMILY WHILE THEY WERE HERE. OUR EXPERIENCE WAS PERSONAL. THE JOB ENDED UP TAKING LONGER THAN EXPECTED, BUT THE PRICE REMAINED THE SAME.
