CONTOUR COUNTERTOPS

Estimate provided in a timely manner. Did not use Contour because of cost.

I hired them through Lowe's, and after initial delays in communication, they were able to install the countertops within 3 days of their arrival after fabrication. Work is excellent, and I love my new countertops.

Their service was just fine. They did a great job.

It first fine they it all went to h***.

Renovating of one unit within a fourplex, totally new kitchen and bathroom. Already purchased and installed new cabinets from local retailer, and began shopping for laminate countertops. Went to all the usual 'big-box' stores, local fabricators and cabinet makers, and even considered pre-fabricated countertops (that requires cutting and fitting). I 'discovered' that the local L***'s stores use Counter Countertops for fabrication of their countertops. Went directly to Contour, and found their pricing significantly lower than L***'s promo pricing. Additionally, newly installed cabinets in kitchen required 5 separate countertops, and Contours pricing to fabricate each individual countertop to exact size was only about 40% more than the cost of pre-fab countertops . . . and without the added time and effort required to cut/trim/edge the pre-fab countertops. I provided exact cabinet dimensions, informing them where 'caps' are required, and added sufficiently to dimensions to yield adequate 'play' but provide tight-fit tolerances. Formica laminate had to be ordered, and countertops were fabricated and ready for pick-up within 2and frac12;-weeks . . . exactly as they proposed. All five countertops were packaged exceptionally well, each piece individually boxed, with foam blocks in corners to minimize possible transportation damage. Only 1 of the smaller 3-foot-long countertops was in error, missing the Formica finish end cap on one end. I immediately contacted them, but unfortunately they did not have (in-stock) a large enough piece of Formica left over to install the endcap. They ordered the Formica, completed the endcap, and had it available to me within a week or so. As for the quality of the finished product, the countertops look beautiful. I installed them on a plywood base that I pre-installed over the new cabinets, and with just some minor scribe-cutting to match the wall irregularities, the countertops fit perfectly. Again, I provided all measurements and dimensions, along with the installation itself. I noted from their (small) showroom that they fabricate quartz and stone countertops, too . . . wherein (I think) they complete the field measurements. For the bathroom, I fabricated and installed the countertop myself, but at the reasonable prices they charged I would have had them fabricate it instead. :-) Overall, I will DEFINITELY use Contour Countertops in the future for the other three apartments as I continue renovating each of the apartments. The final product looks great . . . so much so that my wife is now wants to have them fabricate new quartz countertops for our own home.
